Not far from the hustle and bustle of the big tourist attractions, the Laxey Wheel and the Snaefell Mountain Railway, you can find this small and cosy Tearoom down at the Laxey River.
It is not a very big place, just one room with a few tables and 3 small tables outside on a small walkway. The centerpiece is the big counter where you can see all the great cakes and breads they make here. Apart from tea and cake you can also have several savoury lunch options.
We went to this place twice during our stay on the Isle of Man and both times we had delicous tea with a gorgeous piece of cake. Everything here is homemade and you can taste it.
The staff is really friendly and does everything to make you feel right at home and even has time for a little chat about the place and the food they prepare here.
I can really recommend this little tea room for lunch or a very relaxed afternoon tea after you have walked around Snaefell to warm you up again. Great place with great staff - go try it! read more
