Unless I can't breathe, I would rather suffer alone at home. I've been to Dr's offices where you spend twice as much time waiting than receiving care. I have known Dr Garbis for a very long time since our kids grew up playing football together. But I only started going to him maybe 3 years ago along with my son. Let me tell you, what a world of difference. No longer are there any reluctance. The staff is professional, courteous, friendly and actually pretty fun to be around from start to finish. And they are really efficient. Hardly any waiting at any of the times I've been there. I even had to change schedule but none was available for the time that I needed for months. So I requested they put me on a wait list for that time if it showed up. Sure enough, they contacted me within a month because someone cancelled. Again, in and out like clockwork. There is absolutely nothing more I can expect from a healthcare provider. Thank you Dr Garbis and the entire staff.

They always greet you when you arrive, they go over the services and how much out of pocket it will be before rendered. You can say no to a service if you'd like. My dentist is Michael and he's hilarious and so comforting. I haven't had a problem yet and I've been coming here for about a year now. Upon arriving, I was told that they do not conduct exams and cleanings on the same day. I was not informed of this when I made the appointment. This has never been my experience and looks like they want to bill insurance for maximum payout. After the x-ray, the dentist Dr. Parsana came in, announced to me that I had some gum pockets and that I needed deep cleaning. I politely informed her that I had periodontal cleaning just last year and I am not interested in a deep clean at this time. She proceeded to criticize my oral hygiene routine without asking me what I actually did. I was brought to the front office staff who was rude to me when I said that I did not want a deep clean at this time but would prefer to have a routine cleaning and think about a deep clean down the road. The staff person informed me that they would not do a routine cleaning and I would have to book a deep clean for 2 appointments that would cost me over $1000 out of pocket. I told her that I was not interested and I would like a copy of my x-rays. She agreed to email me the x-rays and I left. I did not receive the x-rays. I called my insurance provider and made a formal complaint for the refusal to care and non-provision of x-rays. Patients have the right to decide what is in their best interest. It is not the dentist's prerogative to decide on behalf of the patient, and push them towards expensive procedures, even if they believe those to be in the patient's best interest.

I first arrived here in May 2024, then November 2024, & most recently May 2025. Wow, this dentist is top notch, blows the Wheaton dentist I had out of the water. The staff is friendly, efficiently gets you in. Dr. Chai, other dentists, & technicians have been friendly doing a great job with the cleanings as well as advise on better dental habits. Also, this is a state of the art dental office. When you are lying on the dental chair, there is a TV screen above you with high definition nature scenes which is peaceful when the dentist isn't exactly the most pleasant experience even with Colesville Dentistry being the best case scenario goes as far as the dentist goes. They have great technology with computer modeling of my teeth & more, which the prior dentist I had fell short. We talked at length about different processes, and he referred me to an oral surgeon, Dr Richard Nessif, for further evaluation. In the meantime, we began the process of impressions, measurements and models. This process took 6 months with many appointments to get everything just right. At each appointment, which was usually a minimum of 45 minutes, I felt like I was his only patient. He never left me sitting by myself, waiting for his return. And if he had to step out of the room, his assistant was there in case I needed anything. He took his time, never rushing, to make sure every aspect of the appliances were perfect. On the day of delivery it was obvious Dr Katkow is an expert in his field. The implants fit perfectly. His precise measurements have ensured a perfect fit and a very happy patient! Along with an outstanding experience I had with Dr. Katkow, his office staff should also be mentioned. Earlier today I broke a tooth, called the practice at roughly 1:30 PM and they took me in at 2:45 PM and by 4 PM my tooth was fully repaired.
