Dr. Goitom made sure I felt no pain throughout the process and felt completely comfortable with everything. I am honestly looking forward to going back to them which NEVER happens with me. The office decor is really cute, high tech and they have inspirational quotes in each room which are nice to read while trying to keep yourself busy. I've been receiving care at this location for over a year. I've always been greeted by the staff with tender loving care! To be told, no your bottom number is 103 and needs to be 99 on an inaccurate wrist cuff and told they would treat me. Over a decade we've spent over 30k there. But no mas. After being a patient at Peartree Dental since moving to Maryland during Covid, I am incredibly…read moredisappointed in my experience... Initially, I lived & worked nearby, and I started Invisalign a couple years later in 2022. I paid thousands in full upfront. This past year, I moved to be closer to my new job in College Park resulting in a longer commute. I've always received great feedback regarding how my teeth are shifting, but I got trays mixed up towards the end of the summer while traveling, which delayed my schedule. I apologized for this. My work schedule + my job now being an hour away contributed to having to reschedule some appointments (in advance). Due to this, I've observed an attitude from their receptionist. There was an instance where I had an urgent work meeting, and I called in advance to reschedule & the receptionist just passive-aggressively chuckled... I'm not sure if this is the same woman who greets me when I arrive, but the receptionist who does is not friendly. I've had to say something to be greeted, and the interaction is dismissive. For my last visit, I sensed agitation during my appointment, which was disheartening since I've been a patient for so long. This is likely because the practice may want to wrap up my treatment since I've already paid in full & I'm so close to being done. Keep in mind, my deadline to complete Invisalign is 2027, but of course, I'd like to wrap up my treatment before that point. The practice may have gotten impatient due to my work schedule/commute, so I decided to then find another practice near me to transfer my treatment there. After seeing two Invisalign doctors for consultations, I was quoted additional thousands to transfer treatment. I reached out to Peartree to figure out the transfer process. I expressed to the practice via email my concerns & why I was exploring another provider. I expressed that I would ideally like to finish the treatment there, but that I also don't want to sense agitation when scheduling & arriving for visits. I was flat out IGNORED. I followed up with a question regarding how many trays I have left, which I was responded to quickly without acknowledgment of the concerns I expressed in my previous email to him. I responded stating that I will absolutely be changing doctors at this point because of my concerns being dismissed & for the transfer documentation to please be forwarded via email. I received a fast response with the form (again not acknowledging my email with concerns). The fact that I am switching Invisalign providers & will be paying additional thousands out of pocket with a new doctor rather than finishing up at Peartree due to poor customer service (when I'm so close to being done) is unfortunate... But this shows how disappointed I am in my experience at this practice as a long-term patient. It's apparent that the practice handles concerns by simply ignoring them, so they go away... especially, when the patient has already paid. Very unfortunate... I do not recommend.

Picked him because he's located nearby close to the new Costco and Royal Farms. Excellent doctor, great personality. He's very into natural healthful things: I saw bottles of Tom's of Maine mouthwash, for instance, among other things you'd find at Whole Foods or Trader Joes. He checks for overall health, not just oral health. Your body is a whole system. Me being Chinese, this thrilled me to hear that he works this way. He even checked my tongue as an indication of my health (which is a Chinese technique). His assistants and receptionists are all personable and friendly, not cranky old women. My second appt was this past summer and amazingly they remembered alot about me and what we talked about from our first meeting; shows they pay attention and not just chit-chat idly.

I went to him after a referral from a friend and I couldn't be happier. I had a bad experience at a place in Columbia where they told me I had two cavities. I made the appointment with Dr. Blank to get them filled.... only to find out, after his examination, that I didn't need anything done at all. The other place was just looking for money, and Dr. Blank was honest and ethical and told me that if a dentist ever tells me I need those teeth filled, to tell them no, as it is just a discoloration of sorts, and my tooth is perfectly healthy. How about that for trust-worthy! And I also dig his holistic view of things. He's very open and welcoming, down to earth and easy to talk to.
