He took one look at it and was able to tell me it was worth way more than I paid for it, how rare it was and most important he could help me. We are talking less than 24 hours I got it back in working order, heat shield repaired and a clean bill of health. I was blown away by the service at Pocasset and I would recommend anyone to go there because he really knows his stuff and is very very fair on his pricing. I called Jim because my Japanese Arisaka bolt action World War 11 rifle was inoperable due to the…read moresafety being frozen and the bolt being jammed tight. I took the rifle initially to another local gun smith and he had no idea how to fix the problem . Jim seemed to know the problem as soon as he looked at the rifle and actually told me to swing back to his shop in a few hours. I said just call me if your able to fix it and he did the following day promptly. He had disassembled the trigger and fixed the problem. I can't tell you how appreciated I was due to the fact this was an artifact my uncle brought home from Japan after serving his country so honorably.
