We went to a similar place once before but never here. We will go back. The staff were ALL…read morereally friendly, very helpful and appropriate in their 'checking in' to see if we were good or needed anything. There was a good variety of items to choose from to paint. My wife took a a platter, and using their wide variety of stencils and the patterns that the staff printed out for her, made a really awesome Christmas cookie platter. She also made a very colorful spoon rest. My eyes were bigger than my hands and I chose a large old fashioned pickup truck with a Christmas tree in the back. It took me about 4 hours to get my piece painted with the detail that I wanted. The items will all be given a glaze and fired by the staff this week and will be ready to pickup in 4 days. The Christmas tree in my piece will have miniature Christmas lights placed in them and lit up before I pick it up. I will edit my post to include pictures once the items are finished. The pieces available to paint have a wide price range so there is probably something for any budget. We will be bring our grandkids during Thanksgiving break. Not sure if it was due to people being off for Veteran's Day but the place was fairly busy the entire time we were there. It would be a fun activity for date night; family activity; or even a group of friends. It was fun!

Soon as we walked in we were greeted by Ashley. This location was really busy, but still great vibes! Ashely was nice however not attentive. She did asked had we been here before, I advised we been to the one on Houston. She gave us quick instructions on picking out the pottery pieces. However once seated we never received our water jar, or the necessary things needed to begin. One my daughter picked out her colors and went to find help, located Hope, who was an absolute doll!! Very very helpful! Four stars for Hope!

Sometimes it looks like there aren't enough tables/tools in there with all the customers but it always seems to work out! I would give 5 stars because we have continually gone back but I feel like more can be done to show what products are available. It's a silly complaint but I'm always a little bummed when I don't see a piece I would like to work on so I settle for something affordable. (Which in my experience range from $18, 22, 28, 34, etc. I am sure there are ones more/less costly) I also understand some items maybe seasonal or limited but I think snapping a couple pictures and updating their "inventory" on Facebook/Instagram a little more often could go a long way. Lastly, we have found ourselves wanting to go to the store a few times but arrive and realize they are only open Friday, Saturday and Sunday. This is key to remember when you go back to pick up the pieces you painted and paid for. Photos below are from August 2022.

Nope. Did they have a lot of fun. YUP. Depending on where you are coming from its up the hill right as you enter hill country off of 290 from south austin. If you are coming from the west off 290 its headed towards south austin about 20min from Dripping Springs a few min past Belterra strip mall food area. Plenty of parking. Lots of seating on a Sunday around 12noon ish Thanksgiving weekend. No time limit on doing your chosen art. I tried glass making for the 1st and it was fun and challenging l. Instructions by the staff very useful! Friendly. Helpful. Welcoming. We each chose something different. Plenty of items small, med or large to chose from. Pottery comes with whatever pain you want, glass area there are easy and complex projects. You pay, they fire/bake the pieces and you show up about a week later to grab your pieces. We each got something around 40.00 or under. Time flew by. We were there for maybe 2.5hrs. My teens were not on their phones once. Engaged, creative, good family time. Come visit, bring a friend, spouse/partner, day date, just yourself. Thank you for having this space for folks to be in the moment and creative with things that open their mind, heart and soul

There are plenty of places to go and paint ceramics but this place also offered mosaics, glass blowing and other great art options which I loved. I was able to reserve the private room for my team and brought in snacks (tea party set up) for the group. The staff was so very accommodating and helpful with everything. We all enjoyed ourselves. If you like arts and crafts, this place is def worth a visit!

**BEWARE THIS PLACE IS A SCAM**…read more Go somewhere else for painting pottery! The ceramics are expensive with most pieces being between $32-$48, all with "Made in China" labels. However, there is no paint or kiln cost it's all included with the price of the ceramic so it makes sense that it is on the higher side. But with the cost of paint included we watched the employee ADD WATER into the paint bottles there. Then when I went to use the black paint it was so watery that it bled onto my other designs. I mean it's ceramic paint, not water color. When I told the girl working she said her boss added too much water to the black paint. My mom asked for the name of her boss and the girl said Videria but not sure how to spell it but didn't want to give her name. When I asked what to do about my piece because I had just spent hours working on it to have black paint run on it, she asked what I wanted her to do about it. I mean I feel like if you work at a pottery shop you should know how to wipe off paint or fix something if it gets messed up. My brother was working on a larger piece and on his second coat of paint when she came over and told him less goes farther. And took his paint away to bring him back a little amount. I'm not sure that treating people this way and diluting paints is the best way to run a paint pottery shop. If a boss or owner wants to reach out with their contact info my mom has a photo of the girl. At the end we spent $140 for four small ceramics and had inattentive service, and saw how slimy a business this place really is.
