We just purchased a Chevy Tahoe from Summit Auto Service in Holt;s Summit, MO only to find that the…read moresafety inspection done there was bogus. They sent my wife out in it with the gas tank held on with only one strap. The missing strap couldn't be added even if we located one as the mounting holes were so rusted they didn't exist. Also the back brakes wouldn't pass inspection. When calling to resolve the illegal sale with a fraudulent safety inspection they were unwilling to make it right. They as much as admitted the wrong by trying to negotiate paying half what it was going to cost me to fix the things that wouldn't pass a valid safety inspection. We are now filing with the state to prevent them from future dishonest sales. Be warned!
