I can't say enough about Craig. I went to him when I was 33 weeks and my baby was breeched. I was nervous and anxious and didn't know what to expect as it was my first time doing acupuncture. A client of mine who is a doctor at Stanford referred me to Craig and I am forever thankful. I have seen several different acupuncturist in my lifetime and Craig must be one of the best. My husband has been suffering from sinus headaches for almost 3 months. I've been going to see Craig off and on for over 3 years. The first time I went to see him, I was pretty nervous and he immediately put me at ease about the whole process. I was getting sick over and over again (colds, strep throat, bronchitis, etc) and my immune system was shot. He did an extensive medical history intake and discussed exactly where he was placing the needles. I didn't feel a thing. For the first time, he stayed with me to monitor my anxieties ( I didn't have any). He was concerned about my well being. After the first session, I felt amazing, relaxed, and better than if I had had a massage. After a few treatments, my immune system seemed to improve. He did spend time with me talking about the relationship between sugar and the immune system. He is a miracle worker, but at the end of the day, I am still weak for sugar. Last year, I was suffering from situational depression. Even though I am a runner and happily married, I couldn't shake the mild depression. I started acupuncture with Craig twice a week. Within one month, I started seeing bluer skies, even in foggy SF. Craig helped me get over the hump without spending a ton of money for a therapist or taking anti-depressents. I had been having trouble with soreness in my back and chest for several years, and started going to Craig again every other week for about 2 months. By the 4th time I saw him, I had even forgotten why I was going - the soreness had dissipated. Craig was a godsend to my family during the last couple of months of my pregnancy and the first couple of weeks after the birth of my son. I am not the kind of person who usually signs up for acupuncture but have tried it a few times. Most of my past experiences I felt no different afterward and the needles hurt. Craig's treatments were exceptional. I left every session feeling so much better than I had entering it- relaxed, calm and energized- and for the most part I did not even feel the needles and would fall asleep during treatments. My husband and I met Craig and Kari when we took their prenatal & labor massage class. This was by far the most valuable prenatal instruction we received although we had a number of other professionals guiding us. I then went to see Craig for acupuncture at about week 35 because I was experiencing some late pregnancy symptoms including intense emotions. Craig released something during that treatment and I was so much more stable and healthy for the remainder of my pregnancy. I continued to see Craig weekly or twice a week until my son's birth. My baby's birth was relatively easy and swift- he was born in 6.5 hours with no pain medication/interventions. I feel confident that my being in a good place physically and emotionally thanks to Craig was a contributing factor to my labor & delivery experience. Craig was amazing after the birth as well. My recovery was slow and I had a few complications. Craig came and did a number of home-visits to help speed up my recovery and increase breast milk production. Who does home visits now a days?! Craig was only a phone call away and I called him to consult often during those first few weeks post-birth. He would always give good advice and was incredibly encouraging not only to me, but to my husband and baby as well. I cannot recommend Craig Marble highly enough. I am so glad that I've been seeing Craig during my pregnancy, highly recommend him. I've been seeing Craig since about week 16 of my first pregnancy. I've been experiencing really bad back pain and was looking for anything to make me feel better. I had never tried acupuncture before, but thanks to Craig's skill and expertise I'm now going weekly and it has definitely lessened the back pain and I count down the days until my next appointment. After every session I leave feeling way more relaxed but with extra positive energy released - what a great feeling after some of the tougher days being pregnant. I also like how at the beginning of each session we talk about how the pregnancy is going. Craig is very knowledgeable about pregnancy and puts my mind at ease with all the changes I'm going through. It is great to have another person to talk to and it puts me in a good frame of mind before the acupuncture starts. I just got home from seeing Craig for some pregnancy-related pain and he was wonderful. Since I only just now had my first appointment, I don't know yet what the results will be, but the experience itself was wonderful. If you are looking for a great acupuncturist, look no further. Craig Marble is the real deal. I came to him with very chronic insomnia, stress, hot flashes and menopausal concerns. My treatments with him have been great. Craig really knows his stuff, and he is humble and kind. No foo foo fancy pants stuff here.
