My daughter and I stopped on the way home from Pennsylvania to use the bathroom and buy a snack. Our usual snack at Royal Farms is the western fries with cheese. First, the bathroom was pretty gross. I don't think that it gets a daily cleaning. Additionally, the soap dispenser was broken. The real problem though, was the fries. Royal Farms is famous for their chicken and fries, and I have always loved both. We got in the car, started driving, and opened our food. It didn't look like their normal western fries. The pieces of potato were skinny, crunchy, and dark. I tasted one, and immediately regretted it. They were very greasy, and the oil tasted old. I don't think the fryer has been cleaned in quite some time. My daughter tried as well, and felt the same. We ended up throwing the entire order away. I cannot stress enough, how disgusting these fries tasted. I have never had such awful fries. I gave two stars instead of one, because the girl who checked us out was very sweet. The two people behind the hot food counter, were rather rude.

Driving up to PA, we sometimes stop by to fill up on gas and/or grab some chicken on the way. We usually go for 1 thigh, 1 drumstick, a side of mashed potatoes and gravy, and an order of their Western fries (potato wedges). The fries can sometimes be hot and crispy, or sometimes soggy as it may have been sitting out a bit. The chicken, depending on the time you get there, you might not get it right out of the pressure cooker; you can always request to be made it fresh and wait. The mashed potatoes can be a hit-or-miss, as sometimes it can have an off flavor to them. There are other go-mart items, such as coffee, beverages, sammies, and snacks for the road. +fried chicken! I drive all the way around only to find the pumps for the big rigs. So I fill up at the Exxon pumps. When I go inside to buy some drinks I find out that Pilot is simply leasing the space from Exxon.

The store was spotless--everything from the floors to the restrooms looked freshly cleaned. The staff were super nice and welcoming, even though it was lunchtime. Service was lightning quick; I ordered a custom hoagie and coffee, and it was ready in no time despite a few other customers. It wasn't crowded at all, which made the whole experience relaxed and easy. Bonus: gas was only $2.88/gallon for regular, which felt like a steal compared to some other spots nearby. Definitely recommend this location for travelers--clean, efficient, and friendly vibes all around. Will stop again next time I'm passing through!

She let me know it would be cheaper to buy the hoagie with chips and a drink due to their special, rather than buying the hoagie alone. The restroom was okay. It could have used some cleaning but it wasn't terrible. During the time I was there, it was super busy. The soda machine area could have used some cleaning up. Gotta love Wawa!

I want you to staff up or put a call back feature, so you don't eat up so much of my personal time trying to fix your problems... Oh, that's great, it just hung up on me I gotta start using the local Shoprite Kleins. They are cheaper and MUCH MUCH better staffed. U guys are losing sooo much business, I'm sure. I have stopped in a couple of times on my way to work, and usually I get a large iced coffee, but this location has only had medium sized cups. I figured it was a fluke and it's been a few weeks since I tried. My daughter and I were walking around the neighborhood today and it's hot, so I said we could go to rofo and get a slushie. Once again, there were only medium cups. The slushie machine only had 2 flavors and neither was quite right. The woman ahead of us warned us that it tasted like foam and she threw hers out. I grabbed us some lunch and was excited to share a Mac and cheese. We had to wait for it because it wasn't ready yet, and when we got it we were warned to be careful because it was so hot. I put it in the bag and we walked home. By the time we got a few blocks away and opened it I was surprised to find orange liquid. I dug down to find noodles and they were cold. I'm not sure what is wrong with this location that they don't have cups or straws, and I'm not sure why the food is cold when it is brand new. It's disappointing and I'll just pop into the car and head to another location next time.

The pizza was overdone and chewy, and the crust was way too dense. It was just way too thick and too much dough. The condiment station could be wiped down often, as there were spills from the sauces on the counter; also, note that the dressing packets are not complimentary, as they do charge you. Price labels could be more visible for the patrons. Cashiers are super friendly! +avoid the hot foods/snacks +friendly service
