This Walmart has brought out the true Karen in me. And I was not ashamed to use it…read more July 3rd, 2026- Yes, terrible timing on my part to order pickup the day before the 4th. Nevertheless, I did it anyway. I am a bad boy so I circled around the back of the Walmart to reach the pickup spaces. And to what did my wondering eyes did appear, millions of cars and not a single employee near. It took easily 5-10 mins just to get a spot. There are 14 spots there, and there was easily 25 cars waiting to get a spot. How Walmart thought allowing 25 people to book 25 spots when their lot has 14 spaces, is beyond me. I got into space #7, and began my wait a few minutes after 3:30. Mind you, my pick up time was between 3-4. I checked in, they knew I was there. After 30 minutes, I was starting to get impatient. A woman had pulled up next to me and had gotten her groceries within 5 minutes. She must have known someone on the inside, or was a miracle worker. Around the 45 min mark, I was angry. I simply wanted to cancel my order and feed my children. However, I worried if I canceled I would not get a refund. A man, whom we will call Kevin because I didn't see his tag, was circling around with an order about the size of my own. I popped my head out the window and asked if that was for #7. If he said #8 just to spite me or not, I don't know. He walked back inside without giving the food to #8. I then looked in my rear view mirror. Cars were pulled up by the garage door where they rolled the carts out and people were OUT OF THEIR CARS asking employees for their orders NOT IN A SPOT and giving tips. Bribery, bribery, BRIBERY. If they were going to play dirty, I was going to get dirty. I approached the woman at the door. I told her my spot and said WHERE IS MY STUFF. Nicely. She said they were "filling my order" (aka getting the stuff from the store) The women behind me had to OPEN HER BIG MOUTH and say ILL COME TO THE DOOR AND PICK UP THE ORDER HERE. YOU DONT EVEN HAVE TO COME TO MY CAR. I, of course, said the same. After my offer was on the table, the women added- I ONLY HAVE ONE BAG, AND I HAVE A BABY IN THE CAR THAT NEEDS IT. Well I'll tell you something women, I have one too. MY WIFE. Well the employee only brought one bag out, and you can probably guess who's that was. Other people were also getting out of their cars, clearly livid. The people who were fortunate enough to get their order at the door, did not give their boxes back to the employees, and instead formed a pile in a parking space. A manger later came out and was clearly displeased. I was now nearing the 1 hour mark when I had decided that customer service ought to hear about this. So I left my wife to man the car while I marched into the customer service desk. I might add, after all the teenagers I saw slacking off, the customer service employees were extremely kind and helpful. They called their manager right away and she was there within a few minutes. The women did not look me in the eyes the whole time I was speaking to her. I was not nasty, I was not mean, I was merely telling her about the situation and how one could so EASILY FIX IT. She did not say anything the whole time until I a chuck of silence where she said sorry I'll look into it and left. After 1 hour and 15 minutes of waiting, an employee came and gave us our food. Half the food was not in bags and was dumped into my trunk. I will note, the watermelons were sweating. I take this to mean my order was sitting in the hot loading dock for quite a while, not the cooled store, when employees took the requests of people who were not in a spot and disobeyed procedures. Guess they weren't "filling my order" , HUH LADY?! This experience today has taught me one thing- Walmart does one thing best: employing the unemployable.
