Not a lot of crowds, plenty of places to have a picnic if that's your thing. The flowering trees are already dropping their leaves and turning green. Tulips are starting to sprout up everywhere. I like coming here to take take photos and hang out. I'm teaching my kids how to photograph and working on their posing skills.

The sites, being first-come, first-served, we open enough and many offered just the right amount of privacy. I can see where a busy weekend might alter people's views of this, but mid week July? Perfect. The restrooms / showers were clean. The sites were also very clean. I believe the staff comes by everyday and cleans the fire pits from the sites that are empty. A great local gem. And yes, o wil be back.

It is stocked at times, so be sure to bring a fishing pole for the kids. They have large fields, playgrounds, tennis courts and more. A guarded beach and paddle boats (in poor shape) are available in the summer. Charcoal grill are scattered throughout and pavilions are available for rend through the town.

There's even a Free Library kiosk to encourage reading (take a book, leave a book). Bathrooms on site will be a welcome relief to parents (pun intended). We stopped by here after grabbing lunch in the area, what an awesome find. Fortunately, it's within walking distance to a deli and coffee shop. Hope to come here again... best free entertainment for the kiddos.

It's a beautiful landscape that lays host to many event including the 4th of July fireworks. A great place to relax, have a picnic or just relax among nature. It's a beautiful park that is very well kept. The staff keeps it very clean and well maintained. The bathrooms are pretty clean, the staff friendly and it is dog friendly. It also has the Arboretum connected to it. It is a nice hidden treasure of the Campbell Hall and Montgomery area.

I really love this state park. Parking is $10. There is an area to bbq, an area to rent pedal…read moreboats, a hotel, a pool, area to purchase food and hiking trails. I usually go just to hike and enjoy the views. What I like is that the trail is always clean with clear signs on where to walk up which creates a safe hike. There are different levels of difficulty of trails so you can either select a moderate trail or challenging one. There is a large grass area where you can sit and enjoy a picnic or take a walk around the lake.

If you're looking for a "park" don't bother trying to visit this place. While you might see this…read moreplace on a map it is most certainly NOT accessible to the public. I live in the area and the closest you can get to this park is along the Heritage Trail that runs adjacent to the land Good Time Park is on however that is the extent to which the public will get access to this "park". It really shouldn't even be labeled on a map since the general public can't access it. According to historic listing this land/park used to be used for harness track racing in ancient times which makes sense since the Harness Racing Museum in located very close to this property in the village of Goshen which is an awesome museum to visit if you happen to be in the area.
