The burrito bowl, consisting of brown rice, beans, salsa, eggs and cheese, relied a bit too much on the salsa for flavor. The turkey croissant was packed to the gills. The smoked salmon was caper and onion forward and the cranberry orange muffin was pretty good although it crumbled quickly. Service was at the counter so no opportunities for deeper engagement although they certainly could have come out more to clean the all unclean tables. Breakfast Burrito (1 Egg, Black Beans, Brown Rice, Cheddar Cheese, Tomato, Salsa, & Onion) $8.99 was delicious. It was very hard to finish since it was so filling. I'd get that again in a heartbeat. It wasn't dry & it was packed with flavor. Waffle $7.99 & a side of sausage. It was very mid. It tasted like a Bisquick waffle: very thin, crunchy, and lacked flavor. Too airy. The side of sausage gave Jimmy Dean vibes. We wouldn't get this again. Drinks (5/5): We got the same ones each time we came. Turtle Mocha (Caramel, Hazelnut & Chocolate - Hot) $6.39 & Lavender Bloom Latte (Lavender, Vanilla, Espresso, Oat milk - Hot) $7.99. The Lavender Bloom Latte was AMAZING. It's the best lavender coffee I've ever had, and it's always what I order when I go to a new coffee shop! The Turtle Mocha was delicious, very sweet. Don't expect to be waited on, that's not the vibe of this place. The vibe is for some good food with quiet eating. If you need anything, go up to the staff and ask. This is such a quaint, cute place for fresh, locally sourced deliciousness for breakfast or lunch! We typically stop by for breakfast and did so today! We got their Banker's Egg & Cheese with a couple of customized options, which they were happy to accommodate! What an awesome find in downtown! A healthy themed grocery and eatery! We easily found it from Yelp and ordered at the counter. I chose a Thai Wrap with pulled chicken, brown rice, cucumber and zucchini with a peanut sauce with a side of fresh fruit. The wrap was a big dry and the peanut was overpowering but it was out quickly and well-made. I just didn't care for all the flavors. My mom and her fiancée split a cubano sandwich and loved it - a few meats on sourdough bread toasted with pickles and mustard with house chips. They have juices and smoothies and all-day breakfast items that sounded really delicious. I'd love to come back and try the loaded oatmeal or a few of the other items. Stopped in for a light drink and snack on a Sunday. Marnie tried their Celtic juice mix which she found a bit nasty, but I liked the lemon and rosemary spritzer. The blueberry scone was heavy on the blueberries and a lot more like cake, all of which are good things. And the bagel I got was rather tiny, and probably came out of the freezer, but it was good anyhow. To start, I am reviewing this purely as a shopping spot. I did not try their food but I shopped here 2-3 times during my weeklong visit to Staunton, Virginia. They had such a wonderful assortment of holistic, naturopathic remedies, beauty products, etc. Their kombucha machine was broken while I was there, which was a bummer as I wanted to buy some but apparently their shipment was coming in several days time. So let me start by saying yeah its all over priced but I tried a sandwich wrap. The girl was very unknowledgeable about this and I asked what comes with the wrap and she says nothing. She was not the friendliest and didn't smile. So I order me some Route 11 chips and then they bring the wrap out to me and guess what??? IT GOT CHIPS so why in the hell am I eating all these chips when I shouldn't have to? The owner is not very nice, she rude. They also sell the most stale Blue Ridge cookies I ever had, they like bricks. Not sure how long her shelf stuff sits around but its not worth the high price. I will not go there again. read more

We stopped into Cranberry's for an early breakfast as we left out layover stay in Staunton. There is a small cafe with 7-8 tables in the back of this local organic and kitschy grocery store. They have a nice sized menu and we were thankful for the option. We had coffees and fresh apple juice. The coffee was strong and flavorful and the apple juice was made fresh and tasted great. We ordered two square deals (1/2 waffle, egg, and bacon). This was a great little breakfast for a young kid. The waffle was fluffy, they eggs were made as we asked and the bacon was tasty. We also had a cyclops and a egg, bacon, and toast breakfast. Everything was hot and tasty.
