This place is special for me. My dad and I would ride bike over the bridge and stop here to see the boats launch and just take a little break before heading on down to the lighthouse. I'm pretty sure that my first memory of ever seeing the ocean was here. I don't have a boat. I don't want a boat It's still pretty cool just to sit under a palm tree, ocean breeze in your face and watch people that have no idea what they are doing, put a floating vessel into the water. I like this marina because it's less populated than Haulover and much easier to access the areas I like to stroll by on when on the boat. Stiltsville is only a short trip away so definitely put that on your list when launching from here. If the wind is really strong, I recommend going to the little beach by the old Miami Marine Stadium thats nearby. Once you pull into the beach area, the wine seems to be contained. This marina offers free parking for guests coming to use the dock or the guests of marina members using their boat. Plenty of Paddleboarding is done in this area so as long as you come equipped, your trip here will surely be a positive one. Make sure to check the weather ahead of time as the summer is always filled with impromptu rainstorms in the afternoons. It's close to the Miami River and Bill Baggs Park so scenery is all amongst you. I find it much more convenient and functional than any other marina and so I look forward to every launch I get from here. Plus, the boat spots all have a hose at each station to properly flush your motor and rinse your boat after a day out on the water. read more

Very nice park on Key Biscayne. However the word park is somewhat overrated. As more of a marina that it is a park. There's a switch those two words around. But it is a huge marina which is very clean and neat and nice with lots and lots of security. If you were to park your boat here he would probably do well with a number for security officers they have here. Quite comforting. read more

I love hanging at marinas and this is a particularly good one to hang at. There are lots of boats, really good docking facilities, plenty of friendly boaters and a good bunch of charter boats in order to go out and catch your fresh fish. Then, being in Crandon Park and the Key Biscayne vicinity; always a delightful pleasure. read more

I went to the park to get some information about the diving shop and a female employee for the county started cursing and being unprofessional. She then proceeded to step out of the and get in my face.she was cursing at mr and my dog. As soon as i took my phone to recorded she got back in her car. Everything started because i went to book a dive trip but when i got there, the place was closed because it was saturday and i thought it was open until 4. When i headed back to the car an officer started cursing because i had my dog (did not know dogs were not allow in the park and no signs posted anywhere). I told the person i did not know that and apoligize, it was my mistake and that i wasnt gonna happen again. She kept cursing me and harrassing me , other people noticed her screaming and approached me to tell me they were also harrassed by her. read more

Great marina in a wonderful location. Wet slips, boat ramp and moorings available. Peaceful on a weekday. Marina has decent amenities including washing machines. The mangrove island near the moorings is full of ibis, cormorants, herons and the magnificent frigate bird. read more

Have been going into the marina store for years now. I tried entering today but had forgotten my mask so I put my shirt over my face. The sign says face covering, does not specify mask!!! I can totally understand people doing their jobs however I was turned away. I asked if I could buy a mask to which I was informed they didn't sell any.. I pointed to the ones on the wall of which I had purchased the previous week. I was the. Informed they weren't for sale. Had the gentleman just informed me that face covering does not really mean face covering and that he was just doing his job I would have walked out and been fine but to just blatantly lie..... that isn't needed. read more

i've seen better bathroom accomodations in a gas station! did not go into the bathroom - just the showers dirty, garbage strewn about - basically disgusting you have to push the knob in with your back no hot water no place to set your clothes or anything else on we slid over a nearby pallet to put our stuff on this is how this place treats their customers! pathetic!!!! read more

nice clean marina. i don't have a boat, so i was just visiting, but they have a huge parking lot and a great view of the ocean from the docks. the bathrooms are very clean and the convenience store has lots of goodies like snacks and sunscreen. it's a nice place to sit and have a lunch on a sunny day. read more

I personally had a very bad experience here. We came over to Crandon Park Marina on Mother's day to go to Nixon Beach Sandbar. The marina wasn't extremely busy that day, but it wasn't completely empty either. We had to pay $11 with the boat to get into Key Biscayne and another $15 at Crandon Park Marina in order to launch the boat in the water. When we got back to the marina after boating all day, we found that someone STOLE the handle from the wench of the trailer and there were several other trailers that we found were missing their wench handles as well. The guy from the marine store (who we were suspicious about) ended up selling us a wench handle that didn't even work for our wench and we had to pay $7 overcharge for the handle because the store was already "closed." You would think that you'd have some peace of mind at a marina where one has to pay $15 to launch the boat, has a dock security gate and is located in a decent neighborhood. It seems that we really got ripped off. Needless to say, we will NEVER BE COMING BACK to Crandon Park Marina as we prefer not to pay to have our belongings stolen. read more

Six double wide ramps, which are very nice. Clean facility, though a little pricey. That being said I WILL NOT be going back to this ramp ever again. For a little over 26 bucks I was able to launch my boat from here, that's the 11.50 dollar toll and the 15 dollar ramp fee. Launching was fine with no issues, but after boating all day I'd like to be able to go home just as easily, with no issues. They had a security guard on scene but that didn't stop the PUNKS from messing with my trailer. when I got back to the ramp I found my winch handle was unbolted and stolen right off of my trailer. I went to the bait and tackle place that was closed and a worker who was off duty (I'm guessing) told me that he can go get me one for 13 bucks they have a spare one because a few other people's winch handles were stolen earlier in the week. so he gets the handle, I hand him my card and true to any back door dealing "no i cant open the register, do you have cash? " why sure I do, have 5 dollars in singles and a 20 dollar bill. guess who had to pay an extra 7 dollars for a 13 dollar winch handle because he didn't have change. To make matters worse the handle didn't even work, and I couldn't get my money back because the off duty employee disappeared. I was than informed that I am lucky that all they took was my winch handle, that they like to cut the trailer light wires to the too. which is just classy I thought. First you have to power load your boat like an A*%hole to get it out of the water, than you get pulled over on the drive home for not having trailer lights!!!!! my lights weren't cut (thank goodness) well overall they have nice double wide ramps that serve no purpose other than giving people a boat load more room on the ramp because everyone launches/ retrieves damn near center of the ramp every time. They have a guard that doesn't guard. But don't worry guys this ramp is one of the cleanest I have ever seen!!!!!! read more

We stopped here with our sailboat before heading out an inlet. The customer service was horrible. The dockhand was just finishing with a boat as we approached. He turned away and went back upstairs into the office, and looked out the glass at us, as we docked ourselves. When he asked us which grade of gasoline we wanted my husband told him just whichever is cheapest, since we usually never put ethanol gas in our boat. The dockhand actually rolled his eyes at my husband. He also rushed us to leave after we paid. My husband was helping to tie up our friend's boat at the pump out station and I was filling the Jerry jugs with water. One boat pulled up to the dock, and another came into the basin waiting their turn. Before even helping the first boat he came and told me I needed to move my boat because someone else needed fuel. Okay I understand just let me finish my water. He told me I needed to move at least three times. Finally I just stopped the water and told him that when my husband finished tying up the other sailboat that had paid for a pump out we would move. I wasn't going to sail away without him. The dockhand just stood there watching, not helping anyone, until we left. By far the worst fuel dock experience we have ever had. read more
