Piss poor customer service from the OWNER Eduardo. We were blamed and also asked to pay additional fees for a miscommunication on his company's fault. We were yelled at, belittled and bullied by the owner. Absolutely ridiculous. The best part of the experience was our guide Juan. Actually, he should operate his own jet ski rental company but for now, Eduardo should at least make him manager after his 6 years of being there and for saving our vacation experience. read more

Jacque was a wonderful instructor, patient and fun with those of us inexperienced. He got pictures of us with the Miami skyline behind us, videos, and took us on a tour around the various islands, including Fisher Island where famous people live! We were able to get into the water on the sandbar, and had an amazing time. Phillip was a riot, and Sean was super sweet. Easy to book, flexible with times and knowledgeable. Amazing group here! I had wanted to kayak in Miami for the longest time and finally jumped in with these guys. Edgar was awesome and answered all the questions i had beforehand through email. Showed up Saturday, and check-in was incredibly fast. The guys here were so friendly, and got me set up and in the water in no time. My daughter and I had an amazing time. We went for an hour and could have easily gone another. An hour was plenty of fun, but enjoyed it so much would have been cool to have booked two. In the hour we went around monument island, went by the mansions, by the shipyards, bridges and open water. Edgar was super friendly. We stay back about 300 feet, which is nice (allows you to get speed and hang on your own, but also feel safe in knowing where you're going, etc.), He looks back frequently to make sure you're good. When you get to a cool spot, he takes a pic for you, tells you about it in like 30 seconds, and you're back moving again! They are very thorough in explaining everything ahead, and Edgar did a great job explaining safety instructions (while I like to go fast, I like someone who is serious about safety by just explaining things like "don't turn too sharply when going fast", etc. Shows they are customer first. Will definitely go back and will do 2 hours next time! read more

Don't waste your time going anywhere else. Edgar and his team are the best... reasonably priced best bang for price without a doubt. Other places charge for gas and a very high deposits. They take you around star island out to south beach all and out to the bay to have "free time" the tours are "guided" but only to show you where to go. You are still on your own and it doesn't feel like you are in a group. Having a guide makes you feel safe anyway. Definitely make this a pit stop for your miami stay. read more

Felipe rocked it! He was a wonderful tour guide, great win our three year old grandson, and so much fun for our teens. My family is Peruvian and he took us to a wonderful spot for Cuban Civiche that was amazing. We made multiple stops where he advised us to snorkel and swim. The boat was in great condition and quite a thrill for the kids who have only been on Pontoon boats. We will be back next year with the rest of the kids! read more

Recently hired Miami Catamarans for a fun-filled "Boat Day" for my graduating class of FIU medical students. We had four hours on the Adventure Prize catamaran with included snorkels and chilled bottles of water, and we threw in some kayaks for kicks. We cruised to Key Biscayne where we anchored on a sandbar and drank and swam and snorkeled and kayaked to our hearts' content. I cannot thank Miami Catamarans enough for this experience! My class is still raving about it. As the organizer, I was amazed by how painless the rental process was. I was, of course, the one responsible for working out the contract and payment, but Annabelle just made it so easy for me. She was extremely responsive to my requests and questions and was open and honest about everything. Our captain and crew were also great! They were very accommodating to our group of silly, dancing, intoxicated, and fun-deprived med students. My only advice is that if you want to provide your own music, bring an iPhone 4 (or earlier gen) because the connector does not hook up to the iPhone 5. And make sure it's an iPhone not an iPad--just trust me on this. Other than that, the sound system was actually REALLY good. We turned our music way up, and it felt like a club party. I would work with Miami Catamarans again in a heartbeat, and I recommend it to anyone planning a group charter! Great customer service, well-maintained boats, and an awesome time. I went jet skiing here with my boyfriend yesterday and it was an incredible experience! The views are absolutely gorgeous. The guides are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We didn't feel restricted on the jet ski even though we did have a guide. In fact, I would argue that we wouldn't have seen most of the amazing sights without them. The tour itself was lengthy and once again you can't beat the views! Don't hesitate to come here it was a wonderful time. read more

Excellent experience. My wife and I rode one jet ski, for 1 hr, for $140 (seems to be standard). It was us and the tour guide in a separate jet ski ahead. He took great pictures and videos for us, and showed us around while giving us good tips on how to ride the jet ski. read more

The past couple of times have been really satisfying but today, we waited 2 hours in 90 degrees for our 3 o'clock reservation with the promise of a great hour long ride that started well after 5:00. Probably got a good 20 minutes in for $250. Definitely not worth it...If you do book here, make sure to call in advance to ensure that they are not backed up. read more

We went on a guided tour for 1 hour ... we each had our own jet skis and we followed behind a tour guide who took us to notable spots along the beach and coastline and he narrated, took pictures and even did a few tricks on the jetski. Edgar and his crew was great! Of course I had several questions but they answered all of them without an issue. If you are born under the year of 1988, you will have to take a 25 question test. But it's pretty simple! They give you a 30 min jet ski ride or an hour ride! With the hour ride, they tour you around, take you to different places & they offer the picture package which is an additional $20. Overall, we had a great time! Definitely recommend! read more

Being born and raised in South Florida instilled an affinity in me for any and all water sports. After relocating and braving a few winters up north, the accessibility of driving fifteen minutes and being able to see beautiful beaches became nonexistent. Recently, while flipping through a magazine I saw a new form of watersport I had never seen before. I instantly went online and researched videos of this FlyBoard phenomenon. I knew I had to try this immediately, and lucky for me I discovered that Miami Catamarans in my hometown of Miami (which I was about to visit) had some to test drive. Miami Catamaran's website is extremely user friendly and interactive; I enjoyed flipping through the different tabs and seeing all the activities and resources that they have to offer. I was able to reserve my FlyBoard time slot effortlessly. Within a few minutes I received a personalized confirmation and warm welcome from the organizer of the Flyboard division, Mr. David Duprat. Working in hospitality management myself, I couldn't be more impressed by this simple gesture. When the day came for me to embark on my first Flyboard training, I received a call within the hour of my reservation from David the owner personally giving me directions on how to get to their location and where to park complimentary. When I finally got there I was pleasantly surprised to receive the warmest of welcomes from not only David, but all of the staff of Miami Catamarans which was there (Jacques, Eva, Fred, and Patricia). The time was finally here and off we went into one of their private charter boats to receive instruction on how this awesome process worked. Everything was flawless as David spearheaded the operation while Fred steered the boat and Patricia served as camera girl. Just like with any new experience with extreme sports (especially after not doing any for such a long time) there is a hint of tension that even the most daring would be lying about to deny. This feeling buckled my knees for only a few minutes until David showered me with pep talks and tips on how to make the most out of my experience. I have to say that this definitely was the most fun I have had trying a new water sport (body flops and all!) I will definitely do this every time I am visiting South Florida, you can't beat the stellar service and toys these guys have. You feel very safe. The only downside is that the guide I went with wasn't really effective as a tour guide. Would've been nice to get some history at the sights and the deets on the celebrity homes, especially as a tourist. Beautiful route nevertheless. Oh and the guide takes killer picture! read more

My cheeks still hurt from all the smiling! Our tour guide extraordinaire Juan hit all the great sights and even snapped some pictures of us. My daughter was skeptical about doing a "tour" but we were so glad we did. The tour is not a leisurely cruise. We zoomed around between locations and hit some waves from passing boats. You will get wet and it was a complete blast. After the tour we had some play time with the skis before heading back. I have not seen my husband smiling like that in a long time. Before we went I researched rental places and saw some complaints about the boating test/license and totally don't understand what the issue is. It takes 10 mins to do and is very straightforward. This is the worst experience I have ever had. I reserved for my boyfriend and I to rent a jet ski at 3pm. First off, we got there and had to wait two and a half hours just to get on the jet skis. Once we got out on the water, we went about 10 minutes before one of the jet skis broke down. While we were waiting for them to hook up the jet ski to tow it, seaweed got stuck in our jet ski. When we asked what was wrong with it and why it wasn't working, one of the tour guys started to literally yell at us telling us that it's our job to fix it and not his. After this ordeal we had to go back to the docks and never finished our tour. I was supposed to be on the water for an hour. I not only didn't get what I paid for, but we got treated awfully. I had an amazing time! The staff was so wonderful and friendly. They was so helpful and generous. They made my experience a wonderful experience. You can't bring your phone onto the water but they take lots of picture and videos of you while riding the jet skis. They captured every moment. I had so much fun I forgot my house keys and was out of town and didn't realize I left it in their lock box til well late in the night. Eduardo answer even tho it was after hours and told me he would assist me with getting them back. Unfortunately I had to leave the next before they open and I couldn't pick them up. Guess what he did?? Personally took them to the ups store and had them overnighted to me! He's the best! Can't thank him enough. Please go there and show love. You'll have the time of your life. Horrible customer service. Period. The gentleman helping us took a break every 5 minutes and wouldn't come back for a least 15 and ignored us for whoever else was there. After completing all the paper work and the man informing us we were all set, he had us waiting for another 10 minutes to tell us we had to 45 minutes in order to go out. Do not go here!!!
