Love thissss place.. A must try if you are wanting to rent a boat. Cannot wait to give this place a try again.. We had a boat that fit 10 of us and still had so much room for our floats and ice chest.. you can bring drinks and food as long as you don't have foam or anything glass.. the boat came with one float that was attached to the back of the boat.. 500 for 4 hours is not a bad deal.. it was a great time.. Great staff.. great service and everyone was willing to help..

Staff is awesome! they explained everything well, answered all of our questions and made sure we understood the map. We got a two seater jet ski for under $300 for 2 hours. Check in process was smooth. And our experience was great! Beautiful lake! We will definitely go back soon!

Who doesn't love the Texas Hill Country? Ugh - can I live there? Like, right now? I'd buy a house on the lake and be a member of Cranes Mill Marina and lurve it. But for those who - including myself - don't own their own boat, jet skis, or even a kayak, this marina has most of your rental needs: boats, pontoons, ski boats, fishing boats... There's a store onsite to buy last minute necessities like beer, sun screen, chips, etc. They also have bathrooms, shower(s), changing rooms, a fuel dock and they'll even blow up all your floaties. Yippeeeee. Other info: Boat Ramp: free to members, $10/day for public use Rental info here http://suntexmarinas.com/suntexportfolio/cranesmill/boatrentals/

I started first looking on the internet for local boat rentals. The site was easy to navigate, understand, and make a reservation. Prices and schedule were clear and straightforward. We rented on a weekday and the rental fee had a 25% summer weekday discount, can't beat that! Boat included one water toy( tube) and life vests for kids under 13. When we arrived our GPS took to the exact location, signs provided appropriate directions to marina. Upon arrival, all the staff was helpful, friendly, and informative about the boat and lake. The whole paper work sign in process was easy, quick, and painless. The little store had water clothes, shoes, water necessities, snacks and beverages. Everything about the day was great, we rented on a weekday so there were less people on the lake. No problems with service, lake or boat. Renting the boat gassed up, clean ready to go and then returning it and walking away is awesome! We will definitely return without hesitation.

We had to have a special sticker on the windshield of all our vehicles issued by our HOA to be able to launch and park there (as well as the subdivision pool up the hill). A few years later, the boat ramps were taken over by the government and opened to the public. Read the Signs: Dock is for loading and unloading only No Fishing No Swimming No Camping No Picnicking No Loitering Do not park a vehicle without trailer in trailer parking! Park your car on top of the hill in the flat area of dirt Use common sense Know your boat etiquette Know your no wake zones Practice your trailer skills BEFORE you taking your boat out in public! This is a tough ramp to navigate with steep incline. Have good tires on your vehicle... when pavement is wet on that steep incline, you will need traction as tires will spin as you are making your way up the hill. We have new tires on our truck, our tires spin. Pull into the loading parking area, quickly put all your stuff in your boat before launch, back into water when it's your turn, then park in trailer parking. Pull out your boat quickly, unload quickly, leave the area quickly. Open Water Scuba classes are also held here. Underwater you will find a platform, cars, etc. Watch for their flags on the water, stay far away. Yelp map shows the boat ramp as "Skyline Park". This is incorrect. This is NOT a park. There are no areas to play, to swim, or to picnic. Pros: Boat dock Cons: Steep incline, limited parking *Note* Comal County Sheriffs & Texas Parks W&G like to use this ramp.

Oh my word! I just can't say enough about how kind and caring we found the gentlemen at this…read morebusiness to be. Though we weren't even renting anything from them - they went so far above and beyond what most people would do it was genuinely amazing. My husband and I were traveling home from visiting family at Canyon Lake and found that our tire had not been rescued to the underside of our truck properly. As we passed by their business, our tire swung wide under the car and bent our rim causing quite a scare. My husband had no choice but to pull over and by grace, Tristan was there followed shortly by Conner who dropped everything they were doing to make sure we were safe and to offer any help they could. Though it didn't take long to correct the cause of the problem, they stayed with my husband the whole time and made sure we were safe to travel again. Thank goodness for good, honorable and helpful men as these. We are so fortunate to have met them, and so grateful to know that they are either the co-owner or affiliates of this business. It makes me assured that they are as honorable in their business practices as they are in their personal lives. Thank you Tristan. Thank you Conner. You are both just wonderful human beings.

This place is cool if you're trying to get on the water, but be aware of some of the issues…read more Pros: Able to squeeze me the day of on the lake which was nice. Shop is friendly and close by the water Cons: Equipment isn't serviced right. We had a jet ski get delivered where there was no brake/reverse function and a maintenance required alarm going off while driving around. They won't mention any issues until you're on the water. 30 minutes late to drop off and 20 minutes late to pick up. Both times we had to call to get an update and when waiting to be picked up, they acted like they didn't realize we were waiting on them. When unloading the jet ski they refused to turn jet ski around which wasn't a big deal, but one guy said they had to turn us around and the kid refused to get in water to help. Overall: It's up to you. The waiting times are what really caused me to write this review because there's no rope or way to anchor off the jet ski so we had to wait out on the water. A customer shouldn't have to call to ask where you're at, especially when we are following the guidelines given to us about where to be. The paper they make you sign says they went over the rules and regulations, etc but it literally consists of wear a life jacket and this sign shows you how to roll the jet ski back over. That's it. If you're need a jet ski last minute then do what you will, but if you have time, there are several other local spots in the area to consider.
