Not a bar at all, they have canned beers and box wine ranging from $7-$13. Outside seating only so good for good weather days. Service was good. You would think at first glance between the ambiance and quality of food and customer service the experience that the tab would be cheaper but I got two lbs of crawfish, a single drink and kids meal (no drink, they only have soda and charged $2 for a bottle of cheap off brand water) for $50. It was just me and my son. Update after owners response: either I got scammed by the waitress or they recently lowered drink prices. For clarification I asked for a burger and waitress told me the only option available was the grilled cheese which was not worth $8 in my opinion.

They claimed they had no seasoning so we're sending crawfish out of the boil straight to people with no option of additional seasoning or types of butter. Crawfish very clearly had mud all over them still - lack of seasoning - even told us to come into the food truck for us to see if there was anything else for them to put on the crawfish. Over cooked and dirty crawfish are bad news for anyone who is looking for a good afternoon. Seriously unprofessional and subpar crawfish even at the price point.

We stopped in from out of town last march and there was a 2.5 hour wait. We didn't get to try. This…read moretime we hoped for a chance and man, unfortunately it was such low quality and horrible food and a long wait from when we ordered to when the food came out. We should have known right when the calamari came out. It was some frozen ring concoction - not calamari at all, and the "sauce" was dry and chunky. We also ordered the shrimp jalapeno popper, zero shrimp. All cream cheese - all yuck. We ate one and sent it back with a no thank you! The hot Cheeto boudin was underwhelming. My kids love hot Cheetos and were excited but this fell flat. Crisp crust was okay but the inside was unflavored mush and they are ridiculously huge. Crust to ball ratio is not good these should be smaller and seasoned. My daughter ordered Cajun pasta with blackened chicken and it came out wrong. With shrimp. The waitress did offer to bring chicken on the side but my daughter is just starting to warm up to shrimp so the whole plate would've been sent back, she decided to keep and try and after a few bites said it was not good , pasta was overcooked and she did not like shrimp. I let the waitress know she did not like the taste the shrimp gave after all (3 bites) and asked for tenders instead. The boil took FOREVER to come out. Finally our waitress let us know that they had "made it wrong" and were redoing. By then we were so disappointed in the wait, in the food we had received - after a long river day we were looking forward to a great dinner but this was not it. We asked to take the boil to go as soon as it was brought out. Out of towners beware! Plus, the check came out and the incorrect Cajun pasta remained as well as the shrimp jalapeño poppers. I had to bring up that I wanted the pasta removed for coming out incorrectly and she said bc my daughter ate we could not take off. *_* I was like yea, she tried to push thru and could not. . . She took $10 off. I didn't want to argue on the poppers as well. Overall. We def will NOT be back. None of my party of 4 left satisfied. We all left hungry and this was NOT a cheap meal

Very Disappointed -- We Won't Be Returning…read more This place used to be one of our favorites, but unfortunately, things have really gone downhill since the refurbishment. The menu has changed, the portions are noticeably smaller, and the prices have gone way up. I don't mind paying for good food, but I do expect the food and experience to justify the price. This is starting to feel like the prices of the downtown tourist spots, as if they think we're in Fredericksburg. Most of the people who live here are hardworking, middle-class families. We don't mind spending money, but we shouldn't have to pay premium prices for smaller portions simply because a restaurant has a Main Street view. Sadly, this used to be a favorite of ours. It isn't anymore, and we won't be returning. Start looking at why places are closing down, because you're NOT getting community support! I wonder why? I would like to say that the service has always been good it's just the prices and how they charge for everything separately now.. nope!

I ordered the fried catfish while she went with the steak sliders and a margarita. The catfish plate was impressive -- plenty of lightly battered catfish piled on top of a huge serving of waffle fries. The fish was cooked just right, not overly fried or greasy, and it definitely filled me up. I would absolutely order it again. My wife wasn't as impressed with the steak sliders, and we both agreed her waffle fries were a little too salty. On the positive side, she really enjoyed her margarita, which helped make up for the meal a bit. One thing we both really appreciated was that they offer a 15% discount for Military and Veterans, which is always a nice gesture to see. Overall, it was still a good first experience. I'll definitely be back for the catfish, and my wife said she'd try something different next time. Nice atmosphere, good service, and worth checking out if you haven't been before.

The only reason the chunks were partially held together was because of the cheese on it. Obviously not juicy at all, but the toppings and bun were good. My favorite thing on the menu is the ahi salad, and I like a lot of the appetizers as well as the Sunday drink specials,, but this burger (pic of leftover burger crumbs) was impossible to eat. A huge disappointment, but I didn't want to send it back and not eat with my son or to piss the cook off.
