my teenage daughter had a cleaning appt today where a filling in her front tooth dislodged...ok…read morethings happen but when Dr Lasser came in to check her teeth ( not her regular dentist that she sees...she has dr Elice who is wonderful), dr Lasser asked her if she was aware that she had a chip in her tooth. my daughter explained that when the hygienist was just cleaning her teeth, the filling was knocked out. Dr. Lasser proceeded to put the blame on my daughter that the filling fell out and made her cry in the office. While crying, he had no compassion for her and continued the oral examination as if she was completely fine!! COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE!! ...give her a minute to get composed! . And to make matters worse, they can't accommodate her to have the filling redone for months. My husband asked if they could fit her in soon to have it redone with her regular dentist and Dr Lasser started yammering about how busy they were because they were one of the only practices that still took dental dental.... totally off topic !!!! ( while my daughter is still crying btw!) We have had an issue before with Dr. Lasser and his rudeness years ago, it's time for him to retire if he can't have compassion and respect for his patients .... It gives the rest of the employees in his office a very bad look !!! if booking an appointment with this office, I would be avoid him as a dentist at all cost!

The oral surgeon looked at my teeth and thought that was "crazy" to just pull all those teeth and said it wasn't necessary he came up with another plan where only 1 tooth would get pulled. I wouldn't trust any of their work. They don't want to save people's teeth. *update 09/7/21* The Oral surgeon told me to let them do the deep clean since they take my insurance. I scheduled the deep clean with them and they canceled it without telling me. I called today since I didn't get an appointment reminder and they said that I "never had an appointment"... I have the appointment cards they gave me though... This place needs to get their act together. They don't seem to care about anyone. If I had other options in the area I wouldnt go here at all. *update 09/8/21* Just got a call minutes ago from Artistry Dental Canceling the new appointment for this Thursday I made. They told me because of THIS review they are refusing to service me... (mind you no one else takes my insurance in the area which is why I had o go here in the first place) They said they canceled my 2 deep clean appointments because of my review about them trying to pull all my teeth out. Which was honest. Now they called me saying right now! because I left THIS review, and that I will no longer be allowed to go there for treatment. They said that Google notified them of a negative review and because of that I will not they won't be seeing me anymore. They didn't try and repair the DR Paitent relationship, they just said negative review no care for you. They will deny you dental care because of an online review. An honest online review. I brought my son here for his first dentist visit. They couldn't have been sweeter to him. I already made his next dentist appointment with them in six months. My only constructive criticism is that the main lobby looks like an adult dentist office. I actually wasn't sure I was in the right place when I first got there. Painting the waiting room with bright colors and adding some toys might make it more kid welcoming. If they have the extra cash it might be worth it to hire an interior designer to make the waiting room more fun. But regardless, I highly recommend this place to anyone with kids!

I replied yes but had a question...before I could even complete my questions the receptionist told me they don't make appointments until they can verify my insurance. I said that was fine however i had a question (i have bcbs and delta dental and wanted to know if I could specify which would be the primary, etc.), she told me to hold but forgot to actually hit hold where I could hear her and another receptionist badmouthing me about "asking so many questions", "probably doesn't even have insurance", "ugh another new patient paperwork"....she then realizes that she didn't actually put me on hold and says she's going to transfer me to someone else.. The next receptionist picks up and says "can I help you", I tell her I was transferred to her and that i was trying to set up a new appointment. Before I could even start asking a question I'm asked again about having insurance which I reply that I do. She starts taking my information and is increasingly more and more rude as I answer her questions and reply with my own (like why do you need 2 phone numbers and an email address to "remind me of an appointment? - simple question, right?!). This place was highly recommended by several people I know however based off this first impression by their reception staff, I can't believe they are able to stay in business with customer service like this.
