My friend said Blacksmith Ice Cream is her favorite, but she's never been to the this location in Bountiful. I was so excited to try it! My excitement was 100% matched by my experience here! There was a line out the door, and I see why. I believe this is their original location, as they did originate from Bountiful, UT. They have a lot of unique flavors. After sampling a few, I went with Fresh Raspberries and Honeybud. I REALLY loved both flavors. Truly, the fresh raspberry flavor was immensely fresh, from the cream to the fruit. Honeybud has a lavender base flavored ice cream. Some people say it tastes too soap-like, but I did not have that issue. It tasted like a subtle flower with delicious honey on it. I truly enjoyed every bite. Next time, I'll be sure to get a bigger size. So delicious and so fresh. The vibe is soo cute too. Very farmhouse and welcoming.

The staff there was very prompt with taking our order and preparing our food. We ended up taking the pies back to our hotel room because the seating on the deck out front had no lighting. Both pies were very good, but overall we preferred the classic apple crumble better than the blueberry lemon. I would definitely go back if we return to Utah, but maybe a little earlier in the day so we could walk around and enjoy our pies.
