Savory sweet potato pie with the perfect combination of spices and sweet
    Rebecca N.

I can't believe I've lived within minutes of this place for 5 years and am hitting it for the first time. As a life-long pie lover this place is everything I want. The savory pies dipped in a side of ranch, ummm okay, didn't see that one coming. Perfection. But truly the Queen Bee of the menu is the Boston cream pie. They sell out immediately, and despite being there a mere 3 minutes after opening I purchased the last one available that day. Who knew hand-pies had made such a comeback? The walk up window is charming with a small outdoor area for eating your hand-pies but it's more of a grab and go situation. I'm home, eating mine and planning when I can go back.

We tried Pie Fight and ordered the blueberry lemon and peach crumble hand pies. Each pie is $6, which feels reasonable (especially by SoCal standards). The staff was friendly, and we appreciated being able to get the pies warmed up, even though it meant waiting a few minutes. The blueberry lemon was delicious, with a nice fruit-forward flavor and just the right amount of sweetness. The peach crumble, however, was a bit disappointing--ours was underbaked, and the bottom crust was still raw. That may have just been bad luck, because the top was crispy and flaky. Overall, I like that their pies aren't overly sweet and let the fruit shine. With a little more consistency in baking, this spot could easily be a 5/5 for me.

I came here on Pie & Beer Day! What better day to try this place for the first time right?! I will preface with, I am not a pie girl and I know that is a hot thought, but it's not my favorite dessert. However, within the last couple years I have warmed up to an apple streusel pie. I ordered the apple crumble pie and the cinnamon sugar crust bites. I review restaurants with my OAT method: O= Overall experience - It was a cute walk up place, no dine-in option. I actually didn't mind this because it reminded me of COVID times, where you can grab & go. A= Appearance - The apple crumble looked delicious! However, the look of the pie crust bites was not as appealing to the eye (but was still good) T= Taste - Heat them both up for a 1-2 mins and it hit the spot! I'll be back for the apple crumble!

Amazing pie! So many to choose from. Got the warmed peanut butter banana nutella with a scoop of ice cream. This is a special place and it was one of the best things I've ever eaten!

Wow, these pies are absolutely delicious! It's a small shop, but the quality is top-notch. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area. There's no tables is only grab and go!

Wow, I was amazed and surprised at how tasty and perfectly individually sized eat pie pocket was. Damn it was hard not to buy more than needed. I had the blueberry lemon and swallowed it before I even got to the car. Ate the apple pie at home and took it slow so not to end the bliss to soon. 8 took the food to go so no ambiance but the service was transactional and friendly.

Pie Fight is everything I want when looking for a sweet treat. Caramel Apple is one of my favorites and it's consistently tasty every time. It reminds me of my childhood and such sweet and simple times. Service is good. The staff onsite are always kind and quick. I love the pickup window that is open until 9:00pm - convenient after a long day when I need a pie to end the night! Looking forward to seeing Pie Fight at the local farmers market soon and supporting them there as well!

    Coffee and donuts hand pie

It's been a while since we stopped at Pie Fight, but now that they've brought back the Bourbon Caramel Apple hand pie, we couldn't resist during our last trip to SLC. The staff their is so friendly and the pies are to die for. I love getting mine warmed up while my partner opts for non-warmed up pies. During this trip, we also tried their coffee and donuts hand pie. The flavors were great and the filling threw us off for a moment because we weren't expecting it to be filled like an actual donut. It would be a great treat to eat with an actual cup of coffee. We'll be back again and again, Pie Fight!

A friend brought in a box of these yummy hand pies. Ours were cherry. They were awesome! Great flavor and texture, plenty of filling. Soft and gooey inside. I was really pleased with them. They were the perfect amount of sweet for a treat.

Very cute little place with very yummy pie options!! We went here on Pi Day and it was decorated with balloons and banners to celebrate 3.14. We opted to have ours warmed and they were amazing. I will forewarn that the traditional size pie is pretty small - after finishing them you're left saying "that's all??" They're definitely worth a stop by, but I'd encourage getting one of the large sized options so you don't leave with the munchies :)

I came to Pie Fight for the first time this past weekend. I didn't realize it was a small window you order at for takeaway. It's right next to or part of the Uncommon Vintage building. There's no dedicated parking, but street parking wasn't a huge issue on Sunday evening. Even though it's just a window, there are some bench seats while you wait and eat. I wasn't in love with it, but I don't have many negative things to say either. The lady at the window was super sweet. I was surprised they have savory pies too. I'll have to come back to try one. We wanted sweets and went with the blueberry lemon since it was the only one at the time in the "biggie" size. We didn't think the biggie was all that big (looks long, but not very thick) and it was gone pretty quickly lol It tasted good though. I regretted not getting the apple crumb, because that one's toppings looked sooo good. But they didn't have it in the larger size to share. Idk if they always have just one in the biggie size or they sold out of others. The pricing might be a little high given the size. That's my biggest critique. Overall, I'd probably try another if I was in the area. I think in the case of the blueberry lemon, some vanilla ice cream would have been a great addition, but I'm not sure I would pay $10 for it.

    Red Velvet Cake Pie
    Michelle N.

The red velvet, raspberry oreo, and Mac n cheese pie were all delicious! I would recommend popping them into the air fryer if you're not going to be eating them immediately. Unfortunately, they are quite expensive with the smaller ones starting at $5.50. They have a convenient online ordering system but I do wish they would update the website with their flavors because not all of them were available to order even though they were at the store (like the key lime pie and the red velvet). Just an FYI, they have a patio but no indoor seating!

Well, I must have loved it since I went twice!! First day tried the BLT as well as a chocolate croissant which is to seriously die for, it is a must. Kiaya (lord I hope that is right) was my server and she was excellent. I had a Pellegrino Blood Orange soda along with my lunch and loved the salad dressing as well! The sandwich was with 1/2 salad and 1/2 potatoes, yum yum. The second time, I had Connor (he will remember Sheldon) who served me. He was awesome. I tried out a blueberry mimosa, an iced mocha and a water (I had been walking a lot and was tired and thirsty, don't judge). Then I just wanted that dang BLT again! I also ordered another almond chocolate croissant (I know, I know, should have tried something else). Well I did get a cookie too! My lunch was taking a little long, so they also brought out a couple of pastry items to try as well, so yum yum! The Chocolate Macaroon was also so wonderful and I cannot say enough about this quaint spot. It did fill up during lunch on the Thursday, so get there early or late! PROS: Main street, easy access from transportation/offices Great selection of homemade pastries Nice choices for drinks (obviously, I tried a few) Super quaint bistro style inside Outside seating under shade and a tree Attentive and exceptional employees (CONNOR) CONS: Parking may be an issue, although some on-street parking available DON'T THINK, JUST GO! We were quoted a 10-15 minute wait despite there being multiple open tables everywhere, which already set the tone. The person at the front also seemed like greeting guests was a personal inconvenience. Not exactly the warm welcome you'd expect from a place trying this hard to look aesthetic. To make things worse, several pastries sitting in the front display were visibly burnt. Not "artisan charred" -- just burnt. The pastries we ordered were actually good, which makes the rest of the menu even more disappointing. We tried the soft scramble, pork cheek tartine, truffle tartine, and mushroom fettuccine. Everything looked beautiful but tasted either burnt, bland, or both. Every toast item arrived burnt enough that you could taste it in every bite. Our server came by often to refill waters and check on us, but the service somehow still felt oddly impersonal. Since the restaurant wasn't busy at all, it also made us wonder how attentive the service would be during an actual rush. Honestly, this place feels more focused on looking trendy than serving good food. Stick to the pastries if you go -- it's the only thing worth ordering.

Everything was delicious- well seasoned and perfect temperature- soft scramble look yummy - the Benedict so good they made it a yummy meatless dish! The eggs poached well and served with peas a really neat compliment to the dish. Mushroom pasta looked very good and I'll have to order it next time. Funghi pizza was excellent- the béchamel was excellent and melody of mushrooms yummy- crust was good a bit dark on the top but bottom crust good. Their fruit-shaped creations are little works of art--so realistic it almost feels wrong to eat them... almost. Each pastry is fresh, light, and packed with flavor. The pistachio was incredibly tasty, though definitely on the richer side, so it's one you might want to savor slowly. The raspberry had a beautifully balanced sweetness with a vibrant, delicious filling. The lemon was very zingy--almost intensely so--but still delightful if you enjoy bold citrus flavors (just maybe not an entire one in a single sitting). The standout, though, was the mango. Easily the winner. It had such a bright, powerful flavor, and the fresh mango inside made every bite feel special. Everything about it--from taste to presentation--was just beautiful. The only slight letdown was the macarons. While still good, they didn't quite match the intensity and uniqueness of the pastries and felt a bit underwhelming in comparison. Overall, this place is a must-visit if you appreciate creative, high-quality desserts. It's clear a lot of skill and care goes into every piece.
