They serve a decadent menu, but surprisingly my daughter only wanted a small churro tray so she could share with her little brother. I stole a bite of one. I looked up this style of churro and it's accurately advertised, but personally wasn't my favorite. That pretty much was the consensus with my family. They were very busy and the service was friendly. I'd be open to trying one of their more popular items on their menu or simply asking they cook mine a little longer. I just felt it tasted undercooked.

Volume is the priority and things move fast. Seeing the burgers again (and hearing consistent feedback from people who go regularly), it's obvious these smash burgers are the real deal. Crispy edges, melty cheese, exactly what you want from that style of burger. The fries are also very solid -- which I usually don't even bother ordering with burgers but these are worth it. Sometimes first impressions aren't the whole story. Happy to correct the record here. NOLA is doing something right. Smash burgers with crispy edges are one of my biggest food weaknesses, and these absolutely deliver.
