I like the sea and fisherman setup, also has a great bar area. Customer Service: Customer service here is pretty attentative. I've been here a few times and staff are pretty friendly. Given some recommendations when I was indecisive. Quality/Quantity: The quality thus far has been up to par, no food has come out cold nor unflavored. As for quantity there is plenty on the menu to choose from if you do not care to do the boil style food. The only complaint I have regarding the food was a mixed up order that a friend placed for catfish and fries and fried shrimp was brought out to her. I'm visiting in San Angelo for a training. I used Yelp to find a restaurant that has crab legs and shrimp. I chose this place based on the reviews and pictures. I ordered 2 egg roll's, one lobster and shrimp deveined with corn, potatoes and egg. With fire level and all the seasonings. Let me tell you that I had to request salt and pepper and their dry rub for taste. I literally only ate 2 shrimp and half of the lobster. My waiter was Aaron and he was amazing and very knowledgeable and kind. I won't be returning and hope to find better quality the next time I'm visiting. read more

I had to check out this new restaurant in town. I was happy to find it since there isn't a lot of seafood places here. I ordered a seafood combo with snow crab, shrimp, and sausage. It came with potatoes and corn. You pick your flavor and spice. It was delicious! I was happy to see there was an option for headless shrimp. It was even deveined, thank goodness. Another restaurant in town doesn't devein their shrimp. The restaurant itself is spacious and there is plenty of seating. The staff were friendly. First time to come about 2 months ago was pretty good food...our waitress was pretty erratic and we were told that she just employed 2 days ago! So we tried to understand and take that in to consideration. Well we got the opportunity to come back and eat here again today and guess what???!!!! Our waitress was very scatter brained. Very good! I had a to go order 1/2 pound crab legs 1/2 pound shrimp 1/2 pound crawfish Corn on the cob, potatoes and they gave me a hard boiled egg on the house which was awesome! It felt like a lot more than what I should have got but I'm not complaining. Thanks guys if you did :D And I got a side of mixed sauce, so delicious. I ordered a pound of green muscles as I always do. This is around my 5th time ordering that I'm referring to. Get home, cut open the bag and pour out my food ready for the massive sea slaughter only to realize they are BLACK MUSCLES. The little baby ones with all the shell around the sustenance. Instantly upset because my foldable dinner tray was ready with my show already set and drink poured. I call them and let them know what happened and they told me to bring my order back like we haven't already built a report here! They took my order back and I waited for them to redo my order and I'll be d@mned...I didn't get nothing extra. Some friends and I checked out this place. It was a nice ambience and a nice playlist. We both ordered the crab boil extra hot with crab legs, sausage, egg, potatoes, and a lobster tail. I would not recommend getting the lobster tail because it was very tough! Everything else in the boil was fairly tasty. It was a unexpected citrusy taste coming from the Cajun spices, which was from the sliced lemon that's put in the bag. Ate here a week ago (Super Bowl Sunday) and got food poisoning. Ordered a lobster tail, crab legs and shrimp. Lobster tail was over cooked and so hard to pick out from the shell. Something was off about the food so I stopped eating mid meal with a crab cluster and plenty of shrimp untouched. That's when the food poisoning hit. Took my wife out to try a new restaurant in San Angelo. We l Iike sea food and saw this place. The shrimp was a little over done, but they did de-vein it. The flavor was a little light and for the price, we thought they could have added more than 1 potatoe. Compared to another spot we tried, Crab Kings, I felt overall that we didn't necessarily get what we paid for both in quantity and flavor. The water also tasted almost like San Angelo tap water, which, if you live in San Angelo, you know is not that great. I know they are new and probably working some things out, so we may give it a try again once they are a little more established. read more

Had some bad crab legs that were soggy and tasted fishy. I told the manager on duty and just asked if I could take it off my bill and re order something else. He said that if I sent it back and took it off my bill he was not going to bring out another meal. I ordered the Kid's Meal because it was the perfect amount of food! I thought the snow crab was delectable! I wish they'd give you more than 1 corn and 1 potato...at least 2, for the price we're paying. Honestly though, I still ate a lot of food for being a "kid's meal". The place is large and spacious, very nice. My friends and I had a good hearty laugh at the menu, since there are a lot of misspelled words in it. There was 2 of us. Had 1 fork. No La. Hot sauce on the table nor salt and pepper. Had to ask for that. Had 1 type of scotch? The service was bad. Hope you get some more scotch selections. I was 31 yrs. in Houston, I know what good seafood is all about. Food was average at best. Onion rings were bad. Waitress had an attitude that we didn't appreciate. You might consider telling your staff to thank the customer when delivering the check. It cost nothing to be nice to a customer. You weren't that busy, service should have been much better. I so wanted this to be my new seafood go-to place, but no. I was looking forward to a good cocktail to go with my meal, but the drinks were awful. I ordered the lemon drop martini...I couldn't even stand to get it down, it was so disgusting...put into a shot glass, ...no sugar on the rim. Then, I ordered the Moscow mule, but the waitress said they were out of mint and didn't want to serve it without it. So I opted for a bloody Mary... bad choice again...just V-8 juice mixed with vodka. As for the food, we got one of the combo meals with snow crab, shrimp, and crawfish. It was ehhh. Not very flavorful. I did enjoy the snow crab, but that's about it. Our waitress was wonderful...The highlight of our meal. They must've been short staffed that night because the bartender came out and was seating people. He was loud and obnoxious, kind of put a damper on the night. Our first time dining out at this establishment ..menu was huge , service was okay only 1 waiter working ( but waitress barely spoke English). Got out order out in about 20 minutes and the fish , onion rings and sweet potatoe fries were awesome , fried shrimp slightly overdone but still fairly good! We will be going back! I was so excited when Craving Crab first opened! Had their food to go a few times and it was good. However, we went in for a sit-down meal about a month ago, and the place was deserted. There was one girl working. She seated us, took our drink order, and then we sat there for 10 mins. Didn't see her or anybody. It just felt weird, so we got up and left. I also noticed that the menu was odd - everything was almost a la carte, instead of fish/shrimp platters like most seafood restaurants do, with fries, salad, etc. Anyway, now I'm reading about the discord among the staff/owners...hope this place can get it together, but I'm not hopeful. No way to run a restaurant, that's for sure! read more

Didn't stay to order. The prices were so very high. One would need to take out a bank loan for what they were charging. I have eaten at fine dining restaurants in San Antonio, Dallas and Houston but at least they had linen table cloths not plastic on a roll. The lunch prices were fairly reasonably priced. This place is one of the better seafood places in San Angelo. They have a variety of seafood choices and you get to pick what kind of sauce you want it cooked in. I did garlic sauce but suggest the mix sauce cause to me it tasted better, but the garlic sauce was great too. my husband had gone at lunch during the week. He said the food was excellent and was served very quickly. We went today on a Saturday about 1:00pm. I was very disappointed with the service. We order appetizers and they never brought them. Then we asked if it takes that long to get the food and another server went to check on our food and brought it out. It took 40 minutes to get our food. I was ready to walk out. My sweet potato frys were cold. Shrimp, Catfish and onion rings were goo. The bartender and one female server were being loud and playing around which I thought it was unprofessional. Do that when you have no customers listening and watching you play around. Take a sweater as the AC was full blast with maybe 15 customers in the restaurant Won't be going back soon and if we go it will only be during the week and lunch. Let's start off with the fact that they "didn't have the stuff to make" an Amaretto Sour. Waited 45 minutes for appetizers that were cold. My food was given away to another table so my date's food was getting cold. They rushed to remake mine so the fried shrimp and scallops were undercooked. The food was very bland, even the Cajun fries. The batter on the fried stuff had no seasoning and the seasoning on the boiled in bag stuff was bland, even had to ask for a side of the next higher up spice. The ticket was not correct in the end. Did I mention it was Valentines Day and only 5 tables were occupied when we got there at 4:45? I didn't even get my cheesecake!This makes me give a star to post a review. Best seafood in town! The shrimp and muscle boils are so good. The ratio of heat and garlic was perfect and flavorful. You can add a bunch of additional things in it too. I've also had the crab cakes and hush puppies, which are excellent. read more
