Just flew in from LA. Woman with salt and pepper party city Afro puff working the register is in incredibly rude. Perhaps visible signs instructing potential customers of the order of operations will be helpful. Anywho, there is a porch line of people waiting to come into the location to eat. Don't bother with this place. The food was lukewarm like it was under warming lights. Our combo plates was supposed to come with hush puppies and cole slaw. We didn't get any. When we asked the server about it she said "they acted like they were out". What??? We also asked for lemon and onion. Nope, never got it. They did take our drinks off the bill, but we still felt screwed. We ended up paying about $20 a plate for half of what was supposed to be on the plate. If you're traveling on the interstate, just travel a little further to Waskom Tx to Catfish Village. You'll have a much better experience, service and food. read more

I ordered a ribeye with stuffed potato and salad, $41 total before tip, which is nearly double Roma's price. The steak was subpar quality, the pic shown is the fat on just half the steak (gave remainder to a homeless person). The potato was burned and the "salad" was a chunk of iceberg lettuce, red onion slices and mealy tomatoes with a packet full of processed dressing thrown on the side - most places at this cost would be homemade dressing. Further, and finally, there are still many places in the world where $40 a person buys some small bit of ambiance along with gracious, hospitable service, but this is not one of them. It takes a lot for me to post a negative, but nevertheless honest, review. I would never return here; lesson learned. read more

What I don't understand is why I found a GIANT WOLF SPIDER and TWO COCKROACHES in my bag of crawfish!!? I showed our server and SHE LAUGHED! She told me, "that happens sometimes". I can appreciate that I'm eating crawfish and sometimes grass and dirt is apart of that but literal bugs!?!??? If someone found what I found in any other meal... It would be game over. It ruined the remaining 2 pounds of crawfish that I had left and I still had to pay for the entire meal because I wasn't offered any type of compensation for the disgusting mistake. I came for the crawfish.....And will keep coming back. I have only been here a handful of time but every time I'm in town I will be back. Best friggin crawfish on the planet. And the sausage that's boiled with the crawfish is almost better. If you go when they're busy, you might wait longer but the crawfish seem spicier, which is a plus. Service is good, waitresses are friendly. I haven't tried anything else because, hey, if it's crawfish season, what else you gonna get? I plan on going soon now that season is over, just so I'm forced to try some other menu items. Really wish google had the right hours . We stopped by just now and they were closed we thought shut down until I came to yelp and it had the right hours. My gosh this is a great crawfish place! First: Parking is smaller than needed and a bit crazy! Second: Good food = wait time, a bit crazy here too, but we were seated in a reasonable time despite the number of large tables celebrating events. Third: Service was good and friendly despite the crowd of tables all clamoring for food. But most importantly: FOOD! Delicious! We watched tables order many pounds of boiled crawfish, which arrived in plastic bags inside brown paper bags! That's a first for us! We ordered catfish, fried shrimp, crawfish pie, with hot water cornbread and fries & slaw & (of course) sweet tea! All perfectly cooked and arrived hot and delicious! I cannot say enough about how wonderful this restaurant was! We got stranded due to our car breaking down for about 7 hours. They let us stay in their restaurant the entire time as it was in the 90's outside. We were there long enough to have lunch and dinner and not only were they friendly they had delicious food! The service was amazing! They all kept checking to see if we needed more to drink or anything! We ate fried shrimp, crab cakes, onion rings while we were there and I'm looking forward to stopping in again on our next trip to Oklahoma! We always go here when in town from out of state. Today was a sad day. We went in got seated and waited 15 minutes with zero service. Saw the waitress serve 6 other tables that were seated AFTER we were. She looked at us and kept walking. I went to the restroom and when I returned she still hadn't waited on our table. My husband asked another waitress if we could get service and she pointed out the waitress that was ignoring our table as our waitress and then rolled her eyes. Complaint was made to manager and at this point we had been there 30 minutes. We left and will NOT be back. This is sad that one terrible waitress can ruin a business. I hope she has the day she deserves and the other waitress that rolled her eyes as well. The food is delicious but the waitress's need better training and proper waitress skills. Now we are driving down the road hungry, disappointed, and frustrated in search of somewhere else that has better service. What a shame. If the manager ever sees this, which I doubt, your waitresses need better training. read more
