I do wonder if the corn maze is open at night for adults -- that would be fun! (I cannot comment on admission&pricing since I was admitted free as one of the teachers accompany a class of students.) When she moved me up here many years ago, one of the first places she took me was Huber's. We've been back countless times over the years, and it never disappoints. Our latest visit included my nephew, his new wife, my niece, and her 10-year-old son. My niece-in-law is from New York City and had never experienced life on a farm. (Last year, we took her to pet a horse for the first time!) So when she wanted to go peach and apple picking, Huber's was the obvious choice. Let's just say she and my 10-year-old great-nephew absolutely loved riding the trams and picking fresh fruit. My nephew and niece enjoyed themselves too, even though they both grew up on a farm in Georgia. My wife and I took a more relaxing approach, sampling some of Huber's excellent adult beverage offerings while enjoying the live band. It was the perfect way to spend an afternoon. All in all, Huber's once again lived up to its reputation as one of the best family destinations around. It offers something for everyone, whether you're looking for fresh produce, family activities, live music, or a great place to unwind. I normally end my reviews by saying, "I'll be back." With Huber's, it's never a question of if--only when. Halloween is just around the corner, and we'll be looking for pumpkins.

You park and what you see is what you get. They offer hay/wagon rides, but they don't seem necessary when most everything is in walking distance. A small bakery sits on the property that offers a good selection of sweet treats. Next to this, a small shop of knick knacks and the place where you purchase pumpkins and fruits. There is a huge slide, a place to see pigs and feed goats. A small corn maze and other ticketed options for the kiddos. To me this place was a bit boring, but I understand the appeal for small town folks to have an opportunity to let little ones go out and pick a pumpkin to bring home. We ventured around and let the kiddos play, bought some pork rinds and popcorn and then headed home. There is an event space for birthdays and limited seating, but for what this place offers it is an okay stop to busy up an afternoon.

FIVE STARS FOR APPLE CIDER SLUSH…read more I've been coming to Jackson's Orchard with my family for years and it is always something I look forward to in the fall, especially when we are looking to go to a pumpkin patch. I recently learned that it's open in the summer, too, and I was so excited to come and get my apple cider slush fix (and some fried apple and peach pies)!! The slush (and cider) is unlike any other. It's the perfect mix of sweet and sour, and no matter how hard I try I can't replicate it at home. The fried pies were a little undercooked and not as warm and toasty as I remember them being, but I'm guessing that they are better during the busy months when they have to make them fresh. There are bathrooms on-site, and lots of outdoor seating. There is a store to buy lots of jams and salsas and fresh produce. There is also a playground ($3 per person). During the fall fest there are always a lot of activities like a petting zoo and face painting, etc. Some may say it's a bit overpriced, but I love supporting this family owned orchard that has been a staple in the greater Bowling Green area for 50 years!!
