Very warm and friendly ambience. Not too big and noisy, it's tucked ina little u shaped plaza off Jensen Beach Blvd. Our server was selling us in the Chefs platter which we will try next time. Leslie was our server and she was terrific! She did a great job of explaining everything. The chef, Laurie came out to talk to us about the menu as well. We started with the fried artichokes and baba ganush.. amazing and the pita was wonderful as well. My husband had the branzino which he said was excellent. I had the falafel wrap which was one of the best ever. My friend had the the grilled octopus and another friend had the Ikender (?) which was a lamb dish. Everyone was very full and satisfied. I forgot to take photos of some of the entrees since it was so delicious! I'd have to say that I'm very picky when it comes to Lamb and Goat, but it was so well seasoned that there was no gamey aftertaste. Believe me, it was that good! I also had the Mango Lassi drink which was fresh and on point but slightly thick, The best dessert I've had in a while was their Rasmalai, it's made with milk, sugar and saffron with a hint of rosewater. So I came here after going to Publix for the wife…read more I've been wanting to come here for a while looking for a certain Persian ice cream you can only get in Los Angeles and now Miami and Broward. When I walked inside, the store was small. Not tiny but not big. When I went to the store in Stuart, it's bigger with a lot more stuff. However, having said this, when I walked in, I saw little children playing which I knew meant it's a family owned shop. I then met the owner, I forget her name, but she was super sweet. We started to talk. She told me everything is made in house that is ready to be eaten and hot, like shawarma, falafel, and other items. On the cold side, she said she made hummus from scratch, babaganoush, toom, she made her own middle eastern sauce, and pita chips. Now, I will say I am a self proclaimed expert on hummus. Been around the world eating it, as well as around multiple states with multiple people to claim they made the best. Now, to be fair she never said her hummus was the best she just said very good. So she literally then grabs the hummus, opens it and says try it with the biggest smile. She then opened up her pita chips and says here. I then dip the pita chip into the hummus which I bought both of. The hummus was very good. It's thick, also heavy on tahini which I like a lot. Had lemon juice in there amongst it being very smooth. I asked her if she peeled the chick peas because it was smooth. She did state the chick peas were indeed peeled by hand which I told her I could tell. I then tried the baba ganoush. It was good. Thick as well with a lot of tahini. It was smooth and solid. Good over all. We then discussed the best middle eastern food I had in Florida was at La Marsa in Coral Springs and she agreed except she also liked La Vie in Pompano and West Palm. Funny enough, I was at the Pompano one 8 years ago. I gave it 4 stars. Please read those reasons why. She then gave me a sample of the toom and also the middle eastern sauce she made home made. The toom was good. Not overlay garlicky. Solid garlic sauce. The middle eastern sauce was very good and not spicy thank god. I then ordered the shawarma lamb and chicken for my wife and I. 6 dollars for just the shawarma or 8 for the combo which came with fries. I then spoke to her husband who works another job but also helps out. He said everything in the store he and his wife fretted over to make sure it will sell and be wanted by the community. I thought that was awesome. I then got the shawarmas and left to bring everything to my wife. I asked about the baklava but I was in a rush and forgot to get them but she also said it's homemade. Anyway I ate the shawarma. It was very good. It has lamb, fries, pickles, I believe hummus and something else. It was very good. Not dry at all. I'd order it again. If there was one thing I could suggest, is if the owner can make platters with no bread just meats. That would be amazing. Overall, very solid food. Awesome people. I'll be back.
