    greek chicken soup
    Chris S.

prices are absolutely outrageous! ! , especially when you consider the serving size.... we ordered 1 gyros sandwich 1 chicken Shawarma, two small soups and two sodas to go . It was 54.00 for that price, the sandwiches better be huge and the soups better be huge they weren't.... after eating the chicken, Shawarma and the soup I had to stop for food and hour later I was still hungry.... while I was waiting for the food to be cooked two teenage girls came walking in looked at the menu said the prices were too high and left. Another older guy in his 60s came walking in, looked at the prices and also left..... these people don't realize this is for Pierce not South Beach or Manhattan. You can't charge those prices here ....i'm posting a picture of the soup they were eight dollars for a small soup tiny soup.... and the sandwiches were priced with a full meal cost at a restaurant.... This place is definitely not a value, and if they keep their prices this high, I guarantee you they will be out of business soon. restaurants better learn .....If you charge a huge prices, you better serve, huge servings, and they do not.

Had really high hopes for this place, but unfortunately was let down. We went in to an empty place. Staff was friendly but not the most attentive after we were seated. Bathrooms are small no changing table. Menu was extensive, but not all the drink options were available. Asked for Baja blast and was brought a diet one. Food was a bit salty. The feta fries were way too cheesy and the cheese wasn't warm? Service was a bit slow overall. Most annoying part we were told our total via a handheld checkout thing. We're never given an itemized receipt. Then we were verbally told that there is a % charge for credit. No where is this stated. Felt like we were duped.

$30 for a takeout gyro and tabbouleh salad w/pita.

Gyro and tabbouleh salad with pita, $30 out the door, including tax and credit card fee. The menu on google said the tabbouleh is $8 but they said the price is now $12 when I picked it up. The food was tasty but you don't get much food for $30. Doubt I'll be back.

Our server Tiana I believe is her name was very sweet but that was the only good thing about this place. I'm sorry I hate to leave negative reviews but the salad was soggy and covered in bottled dressing, the rice was cold and the meat definitely tasted undercooked with no seasoning. All in all disappointing because we had high hopes and were craving Mediterranean food so much. We really couldn't even finish our meals it was that bad.

Great little spot , food and service was good even tho some of the reviews said the opposite. Clean dining and bathrooms areas

Pretty good. Only gripe was their fries were like McDonald's fries instead of Greek fries, and the salad didn't have olives and the feta was in the dressing, not big and bountiful like I like. But EVERYTHING Else was good! The Philly was good and filling, the shawarma tacos were light and good. Friendly service. Would go back but not out my way, and nothing to write home about.

Super clean and always excellent flavor and quality food. We've eaten here probably 20+ times and always had a good experience. Our server today Iasmina was extremely attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. This is a must try next time your in Ft. Pierce.

This was 100% a hidden gem ! Wanted to try some authentic Greek/Mediterranean food and this was definitely an amazing spot. Our server was extremely kind and constantly made sure that we had everything we need or if we had any questions regarding the cuisine she'd answer. The interior of the restaurant was nicely decorated with really good music playing at a good volume. I've never been to Greece before but it definitely gave me a slight glimpse of what it's probably like. Delicious food & Great service overall !

This place hits every time. So glad to have a nice place to go to with decent gluten free options and filling food for a good price. Staff is always nice and we've never had a problem. Restaurant is always clean and has awesome music playing. Lots of drink options as well!

So we came here on a quick lunch break. When you walk in, the place e is set up very interesting. Sushi bar and middle eastern place. Not a mix I would say I've seen before. The waiter or manager or both was very nice. My buddy ordered the apparatuses hummus. The hummus was garlicky and lemony. I like that kind of punchyness to my hummus. Anyway, we then got our food. I got the shawarma wrap with chicken and a garlic sauce. It was good. Little messy but good. Fries were good. Not the best I've ever had but good. Crispy. Lot of food for a good price. I then bought an assortment of baclava. Chocolate, walnut and pistachio. They were good. I'd say overall 4.5.

Mediterranean food, pet friendly great atmosphere highly recommended

I had the falafel wrap which was one of the best ever. My friend had the the grilled octopus and another friend had the Ikender (?) which was a lamb dish. Everyone was very full and satisfied. This Middle Eastern and Mediterranean market has been serving the community since the 1970s. My colleagues introduced me to this hidden gem, and I've been hooked for the past 2.5 years. This local, family-owned business serves incredibly fresh, delicious food. My favorite sides are the Israeli couscous salad with currants, Craisins, edamame, red, orange, and yellow sweet peppers; the roasted cauliflower garnished with basil and tahini; and the lentil salad with caramelized onions and roasted garlic cloves that simply melt in your mouth--or, even better, spread on their fresh, house-made pita bread. My favorite hot platters are the Shish Tawook Platter, featuring perfectly seasoned chicken chunks smothered in garlic aioli with diced tomatoes and fresh herbs; the Spicy Chicken Kabob Platter; and the Black Angus Shawarma Platter, made with Black Angus beef sirloin and garlic aioli. All platters are served with rice, hummus, and fattoush salad. The platters are also available as wraps, filled with garlic aioli, parsley, lettuce, tomato, and onion, all wrapped in their freshly baked, house-made flatbread. They also carry an impressive assortment of spices, fresh pita, olives, olive oil, and many other Middle Eastern specialty items. Please come support this hidden, family-owned gem. We are losing far too many wonderful family-owned businesses, and I don't want to lose this one. They truly deserve our support. Every time I visit, the customer service is warm and welcoming. They remember their customers, greet you with a smile, and always make you feel like family. They even call me "Q" (short for Qcute), which always makes me laugh. It's those little personal touches that keep me coming back. We found this place on Yelp, of course, and saw the ratings. Took a quick look at the menu online and decided that there would be enough good lean protein and vegetables for me as well as other delectable dishes to satisfy G's desire for meat and potatoes. Port Barna has a lovely tapas menu as well as an extensive drinks menu. It's not often that you find a Sidecar and a Toasted Almond on the bar offerings list! I myself opted for a simple gin and tonic and I had about six types to choose from. I chose classic Bombay and was not disappointed. We had Steak Frites, and the Garlic Shrimp. Both came with a house salad. The salad was lovely; fresh and crisp with ripe red tomatoes, croutons, onions and a little bit of buffalo mozzarella topped with a classic oil and vinegar. Very nice. Both entrées were very generous in portion, and very good fare. This isn't a steakhouse but G's steak was quite nice, and my scrimps and veg were fabulous, perfectly seasoned with mild spice and an incredible portion. We were able to bring puppy dog onto the patio and it was surprising that we had the whole thing to ourselves on a Saturday evening. In addition to the great food and the great service it's a lovely place for people watching. We both enjoyed a relaxing evening sipping our cocktails, having great food, listening to good music and watching everybody come and go. Highly recommended, thank you Port Barna!

We also tried the spinach pie appetizer, and it was generous and delicious, big thumbs up. Both of us ordered the gyro sandwich. One of us got fries the other a salad. The fries were good, well-seasoned, maybe could have been cooked a little more for my personal preference. The salad was a nice surprise, tasted great. Both were large portions. We both enjoyed the gyros, and they were also extra large. One of us took half of it home. We ordered takeout for tomorrow, and we aren't exactly sure what we ordered because it looked a little different when we got home and took it out of the bag. However, we are not that familiar with the menu (which is extensive), so maybe we didn't order what we thought, which was a trio that includes 2 sides (beans and a salad), spinach pie, moussaka, and pastitsio. It looks like the moussaka was missing. Service was good, portions extra large. We plan to return and will make sure we check with the server about what exactly we thinking we're ordering when it comes to the takeout, if we do that again. ETA: The takeout we took home was definitely missing the moussaka. The rest of it (pastitsio, pie, and beans) did not taste that good at all. We might give them another try, but we aren't in a hurry to return.
