Everything is great, exactly as you'd want from street tacos. I've also had the quesadilla which is cheesy and crispy brown on the outside. Depending on who is there, you might need a little bit of Spanish, but they have always been patient with me, and I with them. Sometimes it's all English. That is one thing this restaurant didn't lack -- delicious food. (However, the second round of chips that were brought out, while cooked just then, tasted as if they'd been cooked twice in oil -- it was disgusting.) I ordered the chorizo con papas sopes -- they were delicious! Everyone's meals were cooked perfectly, aside from my sister-in-law's. She ordered a chicken dish served with rice and beans. It was supposed to come with onions on top of the chicken, but it was just grilled chicken. It looked pretty dry and she had to smother it in salsa. My best friend's Huevos con Chorizo was extremely delicious, however. I'm not sure if the restaurant is closing down, but overall the experience was terribly strange and I'm not certain I'd ever go back. The food and the kindness of our waitress get the only stars I can afford to give. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone, not unless you're doing take-out. (Also, the music was turned extremely loud -- not sure if this is default and we only noticed it because we were the only ones there, but... it was very uncomfortable.)

I thought it tasted like cool ranch Doritos, which I thought was pretty awesome. One of my friends also thought it tasted like cool ranch Doritos, so she hated it. We all agreed that the chips were awesome though... very crisp, no oily spots anywhere, not at all stale. They were great. Two things that I did REALLY like that would probably steal us away from our current go-to restaurant is that the booths are HUGE. It seems a silly thing to care about, but it is so much comfier to have that extra arm room so everyone can be comfy while eating. We also loved the really huge glasses they have. We didn't have to ask for a refill because it is so big, so there was no flagging the server down for a refill as we are trying to wash down mouthfuls of salsa. The people were friendly, the ambiance is... pretty standard for a Mexican restaurant, although really open and airy, and I thought the cool wall of bottles behind their bar was super cool.
