We really enjoyed our stay at this campground. The sites are well spaced for privacy and beauty. Our host was super helpful and friendly!

Our stay here wasn't the best nor the worst one, but we were just passing through and needed a spot with electricity for a night. No frills here, maintenance is needed through out. Holes in the roads, cracked and uneven concrete on the site, bird poop on the tables that appear to have been collecting for weeks. The staff was about as pleasant as a tooth ache and acted like you bothered them by showing up. Also, it's cash only. Hmmmm. To be quite honest I've had better boondocking experiences. read more

Do not stay here or give money to this place. It's a literal junkyard, abandoned cars and trucks, single wides and 2-3 abandoned campers. The owner doesn't take care of it at all. She never answers the phone or rarely texts back. It's cash only, and she wants money to be left in an envelope in the drop box- no thanks. If she doesn't physically get it then don't leave it. Her priorities aren't to maintain this property, for instance there's a newer sauna of all things. That money could of been to upgrade the electric, sewer or even the pads to level them all. All the "pads" are gravel with weeds growing everywhere, there's dog crap everywhere and it very dirty. Honestly like a junk yard, the "fitness center" is just some weights that don't match so good luck. The wifi is absolutely horrible unless you're near the lobby. I would NOT recommend this place at all. Very loud since you're next to the hospital and the fire station across the street. You're better off "boon-docking" at Walmart and using the dump station across the street at the park. Don't waste your time or money here. read more

The worst campground I never seen. Dirty and dim bathroom, all three shower rooms are locked with "out of Order" signs, grass covered with weed flowers and can't cook, WIFI signals so weak and can't do anything even though my site was right front of office. Looks like long term trailers all over ( just like homeless camper). This crazy women charged me $38.00 for tent site with electricity (KOA charge $28--$35 with clean bathrooms and shower rooms). I don't mind paying $10.00 more if I can get reasonable service compare than others . It was my fault stayed in the Crazy Women's campground. read more

I will never return. This park needs to be cleaned up badly. The person running it does not know how to place your RV in the right spot. We did not hook up to the sewer , it was up hill and on a slope. Stupid!!! Its next to a hospital with a parking grange with bright lights. She was more worried about my little dog being on a leash then If our RV fits in the space. We cut our time short there to get the heck outta there. It was junky and I felt like I was in the Twilight Zone. read more

Where do I start? This park is gross. We got here after making reservations-cash only they state. No one was at the office. They left a sign up that says to call them. So we call them and the woman that answers tells us to just leave the money in an envelope in the office. Never saw anyone that worked here. Upon arriving at our space, it was covered in dog poop. No grass, just weeds and gravel. The spaces around us had people that obviously live here full time and have yards of junk, garbage and old motorcycles. You don't want to open your blinds and you don't even want to go outside. Right next to our space on one side, a horse trailer was parked. The whole place looks like no one cares. Do not trust the pictures on line that show a peaceful and beautiful, clean park. They were either taken years ago or aren't even this park. One of the worst places that we have ever stayed. read more

I was traveling on a motorcycle found this campsite on Google. The place is spotless and well maintained. The lady that checked me in was very welcoming as well as humorous. The showers were exceptionally clean. I have camped at some real dumps. This isn't one of them. The grounds are also neat and well kept. The only issue is the tent sites are well lit by the parking garage located next door, although, the lighting is very helpful for setting up after dark. The campground is also very quiet and peaceful. 24 hour access to the laundry and shower facility is a huge bonus. There is free WiFi, and weight lifting area as well. All in all a great place! read more

Quiet, polite, cheap compared to other in the area ($25). Has all the amenities. No sign of bugs. Everything was wiped down. Could use some air freshener an better ventilation in the shower rooms. read more

Very overpriced. For a tent site it's $25, which "includes" wifi, hot showers, restrooms. It's also cash only When I took a shower it remained cold the whole time, even with only the hot water knob turned up all the way. Although the bathroom was clean, you had to open the stall door just to sit down on the toilet. There was no mention of wifi when I got there and never was I able to use it. Customer service could have been better. Overall I maybe would have been comfortable paying $12, but not $25. read more

This camp is located right in Gillette and has lots of shade trees and cozy spaces. Most of the campgrounds around here have very little shade and are quite a ways out of town. There's lots of tent sites as well as RV sites. The folks that operate it are friendly and helpful. The park is located just a bit east of the big "Rock, paper, scissors" statue along the south side of 2nd, and about a mile from the center of town. read more

This place reminds me of trailering 50 years ago when trailer parks were primitive. It is ugly, and junky, the facilities are old and dilapidated, yet they charge like they are a premium park ($40 a nite, cash or check only), and have NO cable. They can't even tell you what "over the air tv" they have, nor do they have any travel service skills. Our "view" is looking straight at old, broken down stored trailers. Best thing is to pass this place by if you can. read more

Customer service is terrible. They reluctantly gave me a late check out, but had to give me the lecture that if they give it to 1, they have to give it to all & they're real busy. They weren't full the entire time I was there (3 nights reserved 3 months ahead of time) & they refused to give me a pull thru even though I was willing to pay for it, & had a 28' bumper pull with a 1 ton because there might be bigger motorhomes that would need them, not that they were already reserved (the pull thru section wasn't full the entire time we were there). Instead they put us across from a fence, front end loader, & a camper that had a dog fence & had the worst time getting in. When we asked if the slots next to us were going to be occupied because we'd have trouble getting out & we explained what was in our way, they said "well, they better move that" (they put 1 nighters next to us every night even though there were other open sites). Needless to say, next time I need to go to Gillette, I'll find somewhere else to camp or get a hotel. Also, the amenities they offer are a joke. If you got some workout equipment to sell at a garage sale, they'll take it. So terrible. And the playground was laughable (2 swings, a slide, & a make shift jungle gym with a platform). My daughter said the slide was scary to go down cuz she was afraid it was going to break. Wifi was hit or miss. read more

We pulled in & it was tight for a big rig (38 ft/w car). Kids were running around like a school yard. I went in to register & the office was closed. A sign said to call for registration. I called & the answer machine was FULL. I walked down to look at the sites, returned to our coach & left, very disappointed. We drove about 12 to 15 miles east to Roset where we found All Season's RV Park, a GREAT place to stay. read more

Not a bad place to stay, I'm self contained so don't know much about the amenities and such. People are friendly and the price is not bad. Have to work in Gillette and this nice place is very convenient. The owner is very nice, easy to talk to and friendly. read more

I will start with the positives; electricity, hot water, clean bathrooms and close to interstate. Now to the negatives; dusty, dirty campsite that look like they are under permanent construction. Picnic tables covered in bird poop, cash only, no credit cards, no cable and zero satellite signal. I wouldn't go back. read more

We camped here in May 2017 and have no complaints. Clean showers, nice laundry area and the fact it is old does not bother me one bit. We could care less about cable TV at a campground when we travel. We like to travel to get away from that crap. We would stop here again if in the area. read more

Beautiful campground right in the middle of town but you would hardly know it. Every site is shaded with big trees. And cute little bunnies that will let you get close enough to almost touch! Within walking distance to a grocery store. Very clean bathrooms and spacious laundry room with several machines. Price is in line with others in the area. Staff/owners were VERY friendly and helpful. Will stay again! read more

TOO MANY THINGS WRONG, NOT ENOUGH TIME!!!!!! Ive been a resident since June/2016, first lets start with false advertising, There is no pool and or hot tub at this facility, which they advertise on their website. Secondly there is a large laundry facility and ive only found one washer and one dryer semi functioning. All of the others have out of order signs on them. It is Jan 11th, 2017 and the main water lines have frozen up. First of all the owner Ginger never answers her telephone when you call and finally do get a hold of her she shows no caring about getting services restored to property. Ive been without water for five days and again Ginger acts as if its the residents problem. She keeps blaming the freeze on others but I don't care this is her business and needs to fix the problem. By the way water has been restored to her living quarters on the property but no one else. Because of water supply issues my hot water heater has already split and needed to be repaired at the tune of $600.00 and now Im looking at the problem happening again. Again Ginger shows no caring at all. The resident in the RV next to me is disabled and also has no water as the rest of us, and she is making no attempt to restore water to our line. Find yourself someplace else to stay. Walmart parking lot in town is a better idea to stay overnight. don't waste your money or your time. Try High Plains Campground. The owner was rude as was her son who was running the camp. There was never anyone in the office. When we were in the rec. room we had to tell people where to find the staff or the phone number to find the staff. They want you to pay by 11am but have no envelopes for the payment and that is the only way to pay when the office is closed which is most of the day. Many people just drove away. We were quoted a price and then it went up for a site with electric and water. They charge $10 extra per night for a tent site with utilities that is $300 a month. And we had to move our tent every 3 days so we moved to a dirt site like they said so we would not have to move our tent. After 4 days on the dirt site they told us they had changed their minds and we had to continue moving our tents. The only non-hill dirt site was without electric or water so they charged us for a second tent. The ladies room smells really bad. The place is trashed with pipes, wood and other junk. There is no pool, the hot tub does not work and the playground is unsafe. The owner and her boyfriend spent the holiday weekend cutting down trees and swearing at eachother as we tried to camp with our children. Speaking of children the owners son who appears to have no children attempted to tell us (parents of 8 and grandparents of 1) how to raise our children. We were told that his mother paniced when she would see so much stuff all over the rec. room. My well behaved 2 yr old would have crayons and one sheet of paper, my 14 yr old an ipod and playing cards. Myself a camera and computer. I assumed we were using the rec. room as intended for recreational activities. We were quiet and always cleaned up after ourselves and even pushed in our chairs but still we were told our use of the rec. room used up too much electricity and was messy. The owners son told me that if I had a kind spirit I would have helped him fold a dirty cat blanket that my son had partly unfolded. I was going to get it when I wasn't busy in the middle of something. He said that since I knew my son unfolded it once I should have folded it; which is what I intended. Anyway, it is over priced, the staff is rude and have no idea what they are doing, the bathrooms stink, there is no ammentities and just an all around bad place to stay. read more
