Rooms were absolutely disgusting!! Bathrooms were completely filled with mold, slime, and wood rot. Bathroom door didn't even have a doorknob. Bedding, sitting chairs, and carpet were beyond salvageable, stained, and a gross greasy feel to them. Requested a different room only to find the second room was dirtier than the first. Housekeeping had JUST left the second room and it smelled awful! Did NOT smell like any type of cleaner had been used. We ended up leaving and went to the Best Western across the street. read more

Stayed there after flying most of the day. Can't recommend it. Sink was dirty, two beds in room - one had stained sheets. No refrigerator or microwave in the room, although there was an 'open spaces' where they belonged. read more

Ok so not a 5 stars hotel but it has the necessary to pass a snow storm I was stuck at the hotel on 1/31/20-2/2/20 and I must say it was good Eric the front desk guy was so nice, I'm from California and I've never seen snow before he gave some tips on how to look for the weather and looked for the weather warnings for me. He is a great person. Good thing also is the breakfast they have everything enough to fIll you up during a snow storm and it's included in your rate. I would definitely recommend this place. The room was clean and it had a refrigerator and a microwave. It also has free parking and free WiFi I was there on my own and never felt insecure the employees are really nice and if you're passing by Wyoming this is the place to stay for sure. read more

For a small hotel located in a bit unsavory area, I am so glad we made the choice to stay here while passing through town. Check in was fast and easy, probably helped that I booked it online while driving to Gillette. Now I love buildings and places that have that old town characteristics and this building definitely had that feel. The room (1 queen) and it had everything you would expect. Tv, fridge, microwave, etc. I was afraid the room might smell a bit musty but not at all. Our room was very clean, in fact maybe even better than some of the Hilton's I've stayed at. The bed was comfortable and the a/c holds up very well. We ran it on high almost all night, we like our room between 50-60 and it kept us cool all night. As a female, I did check in and walk around without my husband and at no time did I feel unsafe....of course though I'm from the St. Louis area lol. I can't speak for how the breakfast was since the hubs has an unnatural love for McDonald's hash browns ‍‍but the small area looked very clean and stocked. I highly recommend if you are passing through and want a nice, clean room for a decent price, put this place on your list. We will definitely stay here again when we pass through next time. read more

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. I booked it online through cheap-O-air for a 4 night-5day stay. My flight was cancelled (the day I checked out) so I re-checked into the hotel for another night. Winter rates are very reasonable! The room was very clean. Desk, refrigerator, AC, TV/Cable. The bed was very comfortable, and the pillows were fluffy. The shower warmed up very fast--no having to wait for it to warm up. There was a spa, which I spent a couple of nights using. They do have a pool, but I did not go swimming, though. The breakfast is out EARLY! I had a flight to catch at 6:40 AM, and came up for breakfast at 5:00 AM. Everything was out and fully stocked. Most of the staff was friendly, however there were a few members who could be a little more friendly. All-in-all this was a very good stay. Great deal for the price. read more

Employees were fantastic and very accomodating! Very clean and comfortable for a stopover at a budget hotel. Great basic breakfast with waffles, cereal, breads/bagels, juice, and coffee. Cold ice water in the lobby 24/7. Safe area! read more

Stayed for a night. It's not fancy but really a great place to stay at. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. We had a little trouble with the tv but it was resolved so quickly by Rolando! Had quite a great conversation with both Rolando and Eric, the manager. Will definitely stay here again when we come back! read more

First off I would recommend stopping before you get to Gillette. That place is a zoo due to the oil boom. We barely found a room. My boyfriend and I stayed here a couple weeks ago while moving across the country to Oregon. We had traveled all day and night roughly 700 miles and just wanted a place to eat, sleep and get our dogs out of the car. It's ridiculously over priced. The lady we talked to at the front desk was old, grumpy and rude. Since we had dogs we were FORCED to stay in a SMOKING room! It stunk so bad we barely got any sleep. The bathroom was dirty and gross and the shower looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. It's 100% worth it to spend the extra money to stay some where else... Or get a tent!!!! read more

If your low on money come here! Great hotel for the price. Not perfect and not without it's perks, but clean and comfortable. Unfortunately was not able to use the pool/ hot tub, as they were renovating it, which I think is a good sign they are making an effort to keep things up. read more

I was looking for an inexpensive hotel close to the airport with a free shuttle. I saw a previous reviewer give this $55 hotel a good review so I thought I would give it a try. Even though the hotel isn't much to look at from the outside, I was pleasantly surprised by the appearance of the lobby and the friendliness of the staff. My room was clean (no bed bugs, I always check), in good condition, with a mini fridge and coffee. Definitely a good deal and just what I needed. When I asked about the airport shuttle the front desk staff said she would arrange it for me. I was a little nervous about whether my shuttle would actually be there at 4 am, but as it turns out the hotel manager woke up early to personally drive me there! I was pretty impressed by his cheery attitude and his willingness to come get me again should if need to return from the airport! All in all, this is a great value hotel and I would definitely stay here again! read more

Recently on my way to Sturgis, me and a group of my friends had the opportunity to stay at the Budget Inn Express in Gillette, WY. The rooms were clean and the staff were great. One of the staff actually put out rags for all the bikers to use to wipe down their bikes. This act of thoughtfulness was much appreciated since it had rained the night before. I even got a chance to take an early morning swim before we left. It was a pleasant experience one I would highly recommend. read more

What a bunch of crooks! I made my reservation for July 2008 in October 2007. I was quoted about $75/night and booked. Received confirmation number and thought I was all set. I get a call in early April from a night manager. She tells me that whoever made my reservation messed up and she can't tell who did it. The "real" price is $175/night. I told her I found this unacceptable and asked if it had anything to do with the BMW rally in July. She said "The room prices have been $175/night since December when we found out about the BMW Rally". I reminded her that my reservation was made in October but she didn't care. I asked her top have the owner call me. A week or so goes by and I hear nothing so I call back. The owners out and I should try back in a week. I do as requested but the owner is still not in. I ask to speak to whoever is one step down the food chain and they give me the manager's wife! I explain the situation to her and she tells me "you're lucky we didn't just cancel the reservation and not tell you about it". Now I'm getting pissed. While I tell her that I want her to cancel my reservation I also let her know that I'm going to file complaints with the BBB and the Chamber of Commerce. I'll also tell my story on Yahoo Travel, Expedia and any other organization that helps them advertise. She simply hangs up on me. I called back to get a confirmation number of my cancellation and the person that answers tells me that I'm not in the system. "Someone must have removed you already". I tell him I want written confirmation of the cancellation mailed to me because my new fear is they will charge me for the room anyway as I feel they are unscrupulous. He says he'll forward the information to the manager. Any guesses as to whether or not they'll mail me anything? I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT NOBODY DOES BUSINESS WITH THIS ORGANIZATION! read more
