Wow Here is what happened Last year we had a great experience coming to this ice cream shop. And the reason why we came back is because they had this delicious vegan option. So we made this trip special to come to the shop. So the only two vegan options they had today was two different types of sorbets. And then I asked that last time I was here I was given a chocolate option. She said no these are the only two options and then the owner was there. She said I've never made anything else here. So then I thought about it and I looked through my pictures and I saw that in my cup I had a dark chocolate in my cup. So I went back inside and I said oh my gosh I'm so sorry I made a mistake. You're right I didn't have a vegan ice cream that was not a sorbet. It was like a chocolate cake because I remember someone offered me that the only vegan thing that they have here is a chocolate cake and then this lady that's working here totally cut me off and said "no!! The owner has only made these two vegan options! There is no other option!" She didn't let me talk and she was so rude ! So I left as this lady was not going to have a normal conversation with me so I told her why do you have to rude and went outside . Good quality of ice cream. Went here when there was nobody. We got served the ice cream right away. This is absolutely one of the best sorbet I have tried in Sedona. The lady (whom I suspect the owner) based on other reviews was rude. Based on my comment, it is her personality, besides it is Sedona, where people just comfortable being themselves and not fake. So surprised by the current rating. We went 2 of 3 days we were in Sedona and had great service with great selections around s the shop to choose from. The lemon berry cheesecake and salted caramel flourless cake are incredible. I tried the homemade pb chocolate cookies (packages)- soft and chewy - but the filling was just meh. So delicious! I got the affogato, which is espresso over your choice of ice cream. I chose bourbon chocolate truffle, which I highly recommend for this. It was fantastic. We also got the mint chip ice cream in a waffle cone, excellent. Plenty of mint and chocolate flavor. It seems like the bad reviews are focused on showing up at closing and surprise that's a bad idea, so don't do that, or anger at the lady at the counter. My impression is it's just the one worker, and if you've ever been the 1 employee at a place like this you know it isn't easy. She had to close the shop for a bit after serving us so she could use the bathroom, so seems like a 1 person operation. Patience is a virtue. read more

What a TERRIBLE experience! After a long hike we found this ice cream shop for a treat. We are a party of 8 (4 kids & 4 adults). We looked up the shop & online said it closed at 6pm. We arrived at 5:50pm and the doors were locked. After we knocked on the window a few times the woman working reluctantly unlocked the door & said she's closing. After I mentioned it says online you close at 6pm, she angrily let us inside. She was in such a terrible mood, so rude & snappy. Another family of 4 knocked on the window at 5:52pm & we had to ask the worker to please let them in. Still 8 minutes until closing time. She was angry & down right rude to every customer there. After we got our scoops, which took just a few minutes- we were outside where there are chairs, tables, benches to eat our ice cream. And she came out was grabbing all the chairs & taking all the tables- we felt so unwelcome we left! I'm going to assume the employee was not the owner, as a business owner I would be mortified to see my employee treat patrons that way. read more

Great experience on a busy holiday weekend! Visited on Sunday and both the staff working were excellent and poised. My coffee was originally made incorrectly with whole milk and they quickly remade with the requested almond. Very disappointed that I didn't read the reviews prior to spending money here. I was one of the tourist who got "trapped" here. Being eight months pregnant, I was craving for milkshake. I opted for the Oreo Overload milk shake, and it was one of the worst milkshakes I've ever encountered. It tasted stale & not fresh. Our personal experience was fantastic. Everything they had for us appeared lovely and I wish I could have tried more. We shared a double scoop and the ice cream was fine, but couldn't match other places or even cold stone. What a great stop after shopping all morning. Delightful little ice cream, cookie, cake, and cup cake spot in Tlaquepaque Village. The ice cream is amazing and the cakes and cookies look like works of art! They really are edible works of art. I can appreciate the effort that goes into hand making each of these. The parking on this side of Tlaquepaque Village is tough. Recommend parking on the other side of the center and walking over. There is a wide ped crossing and drivers will stop once you get to crosswalk. I opted for mint choc chip ice cream in a sprinkle waffle cone. So many yummy flavors, it was hard to choose. Enjoyed it immensely and there's a little shady porch area just outside front door that was good stop to sit and enjoy the cone. Service was nice and friendly. Only thing keeping me from 5 star rating is the prices. Whoa. I think a family of 4 could easily drop $100 on cones or cups and a drink. It's breathtakingly expensive. It's all handmade, so I guess this is what handmade, uniquely decorated bakery is all about, but I'd not go back just on this basis alone. I saw on door there was some relationship to television bakery shows, but hard pressed to justify the prices on this basis alone. The woman behind the counter is unfortunately the primary reason why I would not return to cream and cake couture. I asked some questions and she didn't answer them and told she had a line out the door and other people to help. I literally can't think of a better way to tell a customer that you don't value their business. We tried the pumpkin cheesecake and coffee ice cream and they were average. We also got a waffle cone with chocolate and sprinkles and it was terrible. The (low quality) chocolate was globbed on so thick and the sprinkles were so heavy. I actually avoided the part of the cone with the Chocolate... So I'm not exactly sure what I paid for :( this place looks super cute, their cupcakes are adorable, and the ice cream flavors sounds great But they totally missed the mark. Stopped in around 11'o clock and there seemed to be a staff meeting going on or something. The majority of the workers walked out and one older woman "helped" us, however she was incredibly rude and not at all interested in customer service. I took one bite of my ice cream and honestly thought it was bad, like sour milk bad but decided not to say anything because the woman was so nasty.
