Quite frankly, I tried to save money by piecemealing things, prior to hiring them. In the long run, I had people steal from me, walk out on the job, and even be abusive and cause mental stress. ENTER...802 Builders! They are amazing, and true professionals. They roll in with every piece of equipment you could imagine, arrive on time, are kind and communicative, and after six months of waiting on others -- they are banging out a beautiful job, just in the first day they're here. I'm giddy with excitement as my punch list gets smaller and smaller and it's all taking shape. I feel so blessed to have found them and, though you have to be patient to wait your turn, they are fast, efficient, friendly and it was well worth the wait. I highly endorse them, and will have them do a rough bid on some other projects, since they have such advanced skills, save up the funds, and keep bringing them back. I won't go elsewhere, as they are truly the best.

We had a new fireplace installed by Green Mountain Fireplace in Ludlow, VT in early February of…read morethis year at our condo on Okemo Mountain. Although we were very pleased with the fireplace product, we were disappointed that our brand new LVT flooring was damaged during the installation process. We were further disappointed in the response of GMFS to our complaint. Despite the flooring being flat and perfect prior to the fireplace installation and no one else being in the condo except for their workers, they claim that the flooring was damaged prior to their arrival. Just an absolute lie, but convenient for them to avoid taking responsibility for the damage. My recommendation: if you have them do work for you be sure to have cameras installed to keep track of their work. Take pictures of everything just prior to the work and check immediately afterwards. Otherwise they will deny that any damage done was due to their work. Sadly we did not do this as this is not a primary residence and we are now paying for that mistake.

The driver called it his 'sod peeler' and that's a direct quote. And they won't fix it come spring either. Too dangerous to mow safely because of the rocks & gravel in the yard along with the aforementioned sod. Not to mention the curb appeal. It wasn't a busy winter for plowing either. Only needed them a couple of times but it only took a couple storms for them to destroy the yard & driveway. I wouldn't recommend them if they were the only place in town.
