My mother informed me that this was a great Credit Union to join. Unfortunately, Gina a sales rep has made my experience very uncomfortable. I spoke to her 3 times in regards of a loan I applied for to refinance my car. Every time I spoke with her she was short, and made me feel dumb for not knowing the next steps of what I needed to do. I ended up having to call experian and get my number updated for verification. I did not appreciate how short she was with me, and how she did not properly explain my next steps. I feel if she does not enjoy working in customer service she maybe should find another profession because it's starting to show. I called a fourth time to give them a heads up they that I did update my phone number for the verification process. Once again I get Gina, short and a little snobby. All for her to tell me I have to resubmit the application. In which I would have did already if she would have mentioned that the third time of calling. It's quite bogus how the country is becoming and how nothing is free. For 30 years and never actually used the accts because they are so unprofessional and difficult to deal with. They have so few branches, and after hours customer service is incompetent. Please do not open an acct with them, and if you can find another credit union or bank, I highly suggest you close yours out too. So slow and inefficient staff at the mortgage Dept. I waited 6 months for my refinancing. We signed the closing papers 1 week ago and up to this time, the payoff amount has not been sent out yet to our current mortgage company. I truly regret applying here for my home loan refinancing. Their rates are not even that attractive. Don't ever come here for mortgage/ loan refinancing. You will wait for ages! The staff doesn't even respond on time to emails, phone calls, and text messages. Up to this time, I am still waiting for them to send the payoff to my current lender. I tried to reach out multiple times to check what is going on but no one has contacted me yet directly from Clark county. Customer service sends a message again today to the manager. This review is based purely on location & not being a member of CCCU. The building is pretty big so coincidentally the parking lot is too. Star 1. There usually is someone to greet you upon entering the front door. Some sort of receptionist desk. Feels nice to be greeted.. especially on pay day Star 2. The tellers are extremely nice & helpful. There aren't a lot of people signed with credit unions for whatever reason, so lines are never longer than 10 minutes wait during lunch hours. Star 3. The facilities are clean. Star 4. This location in particular isn't lit very well inside. It almost feels kinda gloomy. Maybe open a window or .. five? Replace some bulbs with new fluorescents? Every time I try to access my account on line. They tell me it's been locked and I have to call in for a password. Well I'm a senior citizen and I don't drive. After they locked my account my card was no good so then I had to get a ride to physically come into a branch and get a new card. So inconvenient. This is the second time they did this to me. Just wanted to put it out there that the filthiest, most disgusting ATM I ever used is to be found on W. Sahara and Ft. Apache, run by CCCU. I cannot believe that it is serviced by people who leave it in its present condition. It has never seen a cleaning cloth or any sort of cleaning product. The keys are more black than the color of the underlying plastic and the screen is so smudged I had difficulty reading it. I was in a bit of a hurry when I went to use it, or I would have left and found another ATM nearby. Just opened a new account. When I was told that it would be a skype meeting I was a little worried. When the teller walked me into a private room and sat me in front of a large monitor with a speaker then walked out and closed the sound proof door behind me I became more nervous. I was prepared for a robot or some kind of prerecorded video and typing answers into a computer. When a live agent Tyler popped on the screen his positive energy immediately started to put me at ease. His customer service and attitude was above and beyond expectations. The detail of information and thoughtful answers to my questions was a breath of fresh air. He made this my best banking experience to ever. It was like talking to a friend. I have been with CCULV for @6 or 7 years. I have had excellent service since day 1. I have financed several cars with them so this is a review of that department. I sold a a car financed from them and purchased a private party vehicle the same day with financing by CCULV. Ky Adeseye was my loan officer and he went above and beyond to facilitate my rushed paperwork to help get the seller in and out in a very timely fashion. I am adding to my previous review because I have found CCCU to use the phrase "it's a new employee and that's why we made this mistake", one too many times. First time was my personal information being sent to a person applying for a loan and their excuse, it was a new employee. I was upset but thought everyone makes mistakes, even the credit union. But the cause of me writing this updated review is for the following reason. I transferred my business from NC to NV and needed a new business account and since I had my auto loan there I thought it was a good choice. It was taking quite awhile to get it open but Tyler assured me it was because of how busy they were and would be complete soon. Tyler called me in to sign all my documents, gave me my new debit card and congratulated me on the new account. I came home and spent the next few hours changing all my accounts to add my new bank account. Then, Wednesday August 18th, 2021 I get a phone call from Tyler letting me know they were closing my account because it did not meet their standards of business. I didn't say anything for a moment because this process of opening a business account includes going through their compliance department and so I was confused. I asked him how could this happen because the compliance department should have flagged my application and his response was this, "I am new at opening business accounts". Hmmmm, that sounds so familiar. Needless to say I couldn't even respond so I just hung up and cried. You see, I lost my husband a few months ago and my emotions can be a little emotional but Clark County Credit Union you are a sad display of a good business. BUT I haven't been to Kevin's location in forever. So now I go to the cccu on tenaya. Now my new favorite person is TYLER!!! Seriously! Second time I have been to this branch. And I am writing this as I am standing in line. I have been waiting for a half an hour already. And almost all of the tellers are full. I can not understand why it takes as long as it does. I have chase as well and I never wait more than 5 minutes. This is ridiculous. Worst bank ever. I work for a bank and CCCCU has been a nightmare to deal with. They have been reporting to credit that I'm late for 4 months on a car I sold and paid off in full August 14, 2018. They keep saying just dispute it and when I do nothings changed. They say system issues. They havent accurately updated my CC balance either and that's affecting my debt ratios. The collections department is the rudest and uses unfair practices. You quote the law and even Kimo the Supervisor will stop replying because they know they are wrong. I'd rather pay double interest than EVER finance with them again. The service Sucks. read more

After banking here for decades, we are now told our account is being changed to one with monthly fees, irrespective of the considerable balance we maintain there. We have no interest in the supposed perks associated with the new account type, we just want to continue with our account as is. Went in person to talk and find out options and was told that nothing could be done until November after the account change happens. Why? I gave this credit union one star because I've had enough dealings with them after today. I've been with them probably a little over 5 years now. With-in those years I've had two car loans and one personal loan for RV. For the RV loan I had to put my savings up for collateral. Even though My first car loan I NEVER! MISSED!!! A payment. But still had to use my savings to secure that personal loan for RV. Within a couple of years of paying on the RV loan never MISSED! A payment. I tried to get them to release my savings account, because I thought I've showed good faith in my payments. But still credit union would not release my funds!. I finally paid off that loan a year later. 2 years ago I purchased another car through them. Today I wanted to extend my car payment out. Spoke to customer service, sign the extended app had to pay $25 for the extension. In that telephone conversation no​t once did they tell me I had to have six consecutive payments on time. I've had this car for 2 years and NEVER MISSED!!! A payment!!!.. Furthermore, I make my payments two weeks before the due date. And they denied my extension. My point is, I have kept my accounts in good standing. May not have a lot of money in my accounts. But I've always seemed to have to jump through hoops with them. In regards to try to get the credit union to help me when I needed help!!. Their commercials state that we are the owners of said credit union. That's false!.. Think twice before you would join. ​I had enough of the disrespect from this credit union. I've abide by there rules, and what have I received in return, nothing but grief and disappointment!!!!.
