I have to share my experience this week with 2 different CCCU EMPLOYEES... We purchased a car from Tina in (MABS) last week and what an amazing experience it was! It was nothing like going to the big car dealerships and spending hours and hours haggling over prices, signing a book of disclosures and just sitting there for hours. The process was so easy and fast we were just amazed! Almost everything was done online for convenience. Tina is not your typical pushy salesperson, instead she was focused on getting us what we wanted and it felt like she was OUR agent who was working for us. She was honest and open about everything with the car and our transaction. I already recommend all my friends to go to MABS to purchase their autos. Keep up the great work Tina!! Secondly.... We came to Gloria with what seemed like an impossible deadline with 2 separate auto loans that we needed to close on quickly and Gloria met the challenge head on and seemed to leap over roadblocks as they came up like a superhero leaping over tall buildings. She was in constant communication keeping us informed as to what was going on. She was so kind and patient dealing with us and Answered all my ridiculous questions. I was told by two different people with cccu my home loan would close early and I would get keys on a specific day. I made appointments for the day after. Come to find out cccu dropped the ball and did not do what they were supposed to so my loan closed late. This is very unprofessional. You have one job to do and do it correctly. This is the worst bank to bank with. 1st problem they lie to your face to get u to purchase GAP on your vehicle tell u if something happens to your car GAP will step in pay the balance. Thats a fucking lie. 2nd when this COVID 19 hit my spouse lost hours and money so at first the bank was putting the payment on the end of the loan then they changed the rules and wanted proof so we got a letter for her employer gave it to them. They waited almost 2 months before they sent us an email saying your deferred payment was denied now that puts me 2 months behind on car note. They wouldn't let me pay 1 and another 1 at the end of the month over their fucking mistake. If I knew how this bank worked before I became a member I wouldn't have ever became one. NAVY FEDERAL is the way to go for us military service members. Fuck this bank. Wish I could give a rating of 1/2 star your customer service sucks ass. read more

The computer was acting up but she did a great job of getting my accounts active and running.. I am glad that I came here! The staff was friendly in the front.. I have been a member of this credit union since 1978. I LOVE this credit union. They have everything I need as far as banking needs go. I especially love the new north Decatur branch. It is open on Saturdays which is a big plus for me. The people that work there are so nice and helpful. I feel like its a friends house that I am walking into every time I go. They all know you by name and always have a smile for you. You can get a loan, buy a car or a house with them. Full service banking with a while lot of love for their clients. Yelp is a great tool to get direct feedback from people before visiting a restaurant, auto shop, hair salon, financial institutions, ect. So when it came time for me to find a bank to inquire about a personal loan I initially went to my W.F., where I've banked for almost 20 years, and was immediately turned away. I was told by W.F. I cannot speak to any bankers regarding loans and that I first need to apply online. Even if I just had questions......Really???? So, after doing a little research on Yelp I came across CCCU. And boy did I hit a jackpot! As soon as I walked in someone asked how I could be helped and connected me with the right person. I initially spoke with Dawn because I was interested in getting a home equity line of credit. I've never done this before and I had a ton of questions. She was very patient and answered all of my questions. Once she helped me figure out what was my best option I then spoke to the branch manager Tina. She too was very patient answering all of my questions and walked me through the entire process. Keep in mind, at that time I was not yet a member of CCCU and it was well past their closing hour. There's no way you'll get this kind of service and attention at the "big box' banks. Regardless if you have just $50 or $500k in your account you'll be treated with the same amount of courtesy and respect here. Tina and her entire staff have been and continue to be a great help and I feel like I just made some new friends. The worst bank I have ever delt with applied for a car loan was approved 24 hours later then the car loan was taken back later the next day because of my pay check could not be verified. What I never heard this one before so my approved loan was now taken back and this was a refinance of my car loan I have been paying my loan on time for a year they took my pay checks with no problem what kind of bank are you what a joke went to do the refi with Bank of America been with them 23 years gave the same docs 24 hours with no problem approved I see this bank likes to make stuff up to get out of funding a loan I see they have done this before I am not the first they have done this to left a similar comment on a loan like mine don't wast your time with this bank I did don't make the same mistake I did there is better banks out there I going to call contact 13 news to do a story about how they handle there guest and what they did to me they should take responsibility and fund my refinance of my car to fix this problem thanks. read more

This bank has the best hours. Decent weekday closing hours. Best holiday hours. Best weekend hours. My main bank is somewhere else but I find myself slowly shifting all of my accounts to CCCU ever since I got my auto loan through them. Customer service for the most part is awesome. I've only come across 1 person that had mediocre service.. everyone else every other time has had exceptional customer service. Very easy going bank. Little to no fees. Great interest rates. I was referred to this place by an existing member. I took the time to personally walk in, and inquire about their requirements on becoming a member. The young lady at the counter was nice, and provided me the basic information in order to open an account. I inquired about their loan programs, and she arranged for me to speak with another representative. I waited in the lobby area, and was called to meet with Tiffany in her office. I explained I was referred to them, and that my husband and I are researching what loan programs may be the best fit for our needs. Regretfully, Tiffany came across as inattentive, uninterested, and in a rush. She met with me for 5 minutes - asked if the front staff provided me with what the requirements are to be a member, and then quickly stated with personal loans we will be looking at a minimum interest of 10% - 20%. She didn't ask for any additional information about our finances, credit status, or anything of significance to give a professional opinion on what may be our best approach to start the process. She didn't offer to provide any other details, or ask for my contact information. She quickly mentioned taking a loan against the equity of our vehicle that we have less than a year left to pay on. She didn't try to discover what are financial goals are. She was not focused on customer satisfaction. And, it was clear she didn't find a reason to engage any further. So I kindly told her thank you, and that I will talk it over with my husband if we'd decide to pursue this further. My wife and I are new to Henderson and wanted to open an account at a local bank. We initially wanted to open the account at a large, international bank like Chase. At our first Chase encounter, we were told by a Chase employee sitting at her desk that without an appointment, we could not open an account. The lady did not appear to be busy, but that is what she told us. We tried to open an account at another Chase location and received the same answer, from another employee, sitting ideally at her desk. After two stikes my wife and I decided to go somewhere else. A business owner in our neighborhood recommended CCCU, so we drove to the branch on West Lake Meade Parkway. We were greeted by Jessica and expected to be told we needed an appointment, but that did not happen. Jessica immediately sent us to Alisha, who was totally awesome in getting us set up as new members of the credit union. Alisha and Jessica are not only extremely knowledgeable but also polite--a rarity in today's retail world. The entire staff at this branch was very welcoming and made us feel at home...something we did not experience at either Chase location. We are proud to recommend CCCU to the many other Californian's moving to your great state and great county, as well as locals. Trying for three days now to simply get my account number so I can handle an important transaction. Should be a very simple thing, however, they are still not able to provide it, instead they keep wasting my time giving me steps that doesn't work. After three days of phone calls they tell me now I have to wait til Wed. and go in the bank in person. That'll be a week since I started this process and am suppose to be out of town. Just to get my account number!!! Soooo frustrating. Never have these problems with other banks. Been a member for many years and if it's just basic simple bank transactions that's fine but any thing else they are unable to handle. There are other experiences in the past: One where I was unable to get onto my online banking and that lasted for a long time. I had to call each time to do any online banking to reset PW and etc. Another one is they stopped auto transferring money across accounts without notice because they "updated their system" I was told, causing insufficient funds. Had to work out that big mess. Talking to other members and they experienced same problems. I would've change banks a long time ago but it's time consuming setting everything up but it will save me time and not to mention aggravation in the long run. read more

I went in to make changes to my account. Sharwani quickly assessed what I needed, determined that I needed to close the account and open a new one and took care of all aspects of it. And here we go again. Last month I had a situation with this bank with them not telling you what's going on. Last month I spoke to one of the managers and he promised me that it would not happen again. Well... it did! Here I am trying to take care of my family and I was not aware that my car payment which is done automatically like most things had been short. Instead of the them doing the ethical thing and notifying me of this right away they go ahead and pull the money out of your account and when you're at the store and have to leave because you don't have the money to feed your family and call this credit union and the person that you get transferred to is completely unsympathetic to your situation when everything could have been averted with an email or a letter saying that you were short on the payment but no that's not the case. So thank you again for your great business practices and empathy from your employees! How sad that I have to look somewhere else to do business because the way you people made my wife and me feel is so cold that never have I felt like that. read more

I have been a member with CCCU since I was a child. I have used them for auto loans in the past and regular baking needs, but this time I used them for a HELOC . We walked into the brand new Decatur branch and met with Dawn Young. From day 1 consulting us for which loan that best suits our needs, to the day we received the loan, the experience with her has been impeccable! Even though when you go through a loan you have to go through your records and gather (what it seems) an ever so long list of things in order to be approved, she answered ever question, email, & telephone call and explained everything we needed to know in full detail! We were never confused about anything that was before us. Although along the way, I think it was the processor, Chianti? That we had to deal with, was a little speed bump in the process as some of her phone conversations and emails were very short and we were confused after we hung up the phone with her. I immediately contacted Dawn and she apologized and handled everything for us. We skipped emailing back the processor and just dealt with Dawn as it was much easier that way. I just wanted to point out an amazing employee who truly cares about her members! For any loan needs .....please go see Dawn at the Decatur branch.....You will be treated like Royalty!! This is my first time posting a review on yelp but i was sooo happy with my new car loan i had to leave a review. This is my third car loan with cccu and unfortunately my second car was in a wreck got deemed a total loss so when i found that out i called cccu and rekey received my phone call and i explained the situation to him. After that he asked me what type of vehicle i wanted and what was the price range after letting him know he went to work and called me the next day told me i was approved. He then told me if i was looking for new then he could transfer me to tina who is their auto broker and she is able to get new vehicles! I was pleasantly surprised because i knew they sold used but didnt know they sold new! I told tina what i was looking for the trim level color and features and she got back to me same day said these are the cars i can get and i decided on one and 2 days later was ready for pick up showed up signed and drove away in my new vehicle! Tina and rekey were great easy to talk to they provided excellent customer service and went above and beyond my expectations! I would definitely buy again from them and recommend them to everyone looking for a car but doesnt wanna deal with sales people! read more

I have been a CCCU member 35 years, with lots of loans and accounts paying them lots of money on interest. With a perfect loan record and a 800 credit score, I tried to get a simple used truck loan for my family business for $25,000. A 2012 Isuzu NPR-HD diesel engine, state of the art with a "B10-life" engine rating of 375,000 hours. Because of the 170,000 miles, the underwriters would not approve the loan. If they were competent, knowledgeable & skilled at their craft (per their Mission Statement, "cutting edge services") & with the goal to make appropriate loans to their members - they should have approved the loan. Then I was referred to Daniel, on their commercial side, who either wanted to try and loan me $60,000 or talk me into a business credit card (10-18% interest) to buy my truck. WTF?? When did CCCU TURN INTO SLEEZY financial institution? I can't believe the terrible customer service - I am closing all accounts after 35 years and will continue to tell everyone of my recent experience at CCCU. James Dillon read more
