This was mainly due to the weather, as the river was a bit flooded after a period of rain so I understand that's not Bucks County River Country's fault. However, it would have been nice to not essentially be forced to pay extra to upgrade to a raft, especially after we had to pay for parking ($8) and checking our keys ($2) as well. The facilities are pretty barebone. There are porta-potties available, as well as a little changing area but not much else. It would have been nice to have a mirror in there, or even a door for privacy. There is a little trailer where you check your car keys that also sells equipment like water shoes and waterproof phone cases. When we arrived, we were directed to get fitted for our life jackets and paddles. There is a schoolbus that takes you up the river so that you can float your way back down. The car ride is not very long, but we ended up spending close to 3 hours on the river. I would suggest budgeting your time wisely when visiting because you never know how fast the river is flowing that day. Don't make dinner reservations ahead of time like we did. One more thing to note is that there is close to zero cell service around the area!

This review is for the awesome splash pad that is located in Wheeler Park. Every time we go we…read morehave a blast! I am also so happy that Wheeler park welcomes everyone from all over NJ (and elsewhere). Coming from out of the county will cost you a bit more, but not much. If you live outside of Union County it is $4.00 for kids ($2.00 in county) and $6.00 for adults ($3.00 in county). This splash pad has every water feature a kid could ever need - from bigger twisty water slides, to a small dragon water slide. Also, water guns that you can shoot each other with, a pirate boat, water shooting up from the ground, and much more. My kids spent a little over 2 hours here and had an absolute blast. We've been here about 3 times and it never disappoints. Just be sure to bring some sort of shade covering. There isn't much cover at the splash pad so we usually bring our small beach tent with us. There is also a dry playground in the splash pad gated area where kids can play too. They have staff who help keep the kids safe and to make sure everyone goes down the water slides safe and sound. I highly recommend Wheeler Spray Park on a hot summer day.

I think they are changing around their menu for the new season, but they make a pretty mean wrap! And the drinks are great! Between this and the 21 and over pool, I definitely recommend if you live in the area!
