They were phenomenal throughout the year leading up to our wedding--suggesting vendors, calming nerves, making site visits when we couldn't. At one point, one vendor wasn't cooperating and Meghan and Kristin's words were, "we don't have time for this," and swiftly moved on to the next vendor without batting an eye. Their attention to every little detail is amazing (seriously, you should see our wedding day timeline--it's hanging on the fridge like a work of art). At one point our DJ said, "Oh, you're working with Meghan and Kristin? They're so good, I don't even need to show up!" Saying they are respected within the wedding industry is an understatement. Since planning was a breeze, it's no surprise that our wedding day was exactly how we imagined (and way, way more). They perfectly executed all of our small, big, and just wacky plans. They are the dream team with matching headsets and fanny packs. I was married on 10/7/2023 and Details Made Simple (Carla) made sure it was the most beautiful, and least anxiety provoking day. I had previously booked a Day Of Coordinator in March 2023. This DOC promised me the world and more for my October 2023 wedding. We'll fast forward to August 2023 meeting with my venue, I was alone and freaking out. My DOC (not Carla) bailed on me for the venue meet, and made me feel like I was panicking for no reason with a timeline that will be formulated week before wedding. (Again not Carla) Thanks to my maid of honor coming through with an amazing recommendation, I was given Carlas's number after feeling defeated and upset with my previous DOC not supporting me or showing up for me when necessary. After 2 hour conversation with myself and my mom, I immediately felt at ease with Carla. My concerns were validated as "No way should a timeline be started 1 week before event". With many tears had during our initial conversation, that night I slept the best I had in all my wedding planning with Carla coming to my rescue and the rest is history. Details Made Simple is just that, Details Made Simple. From hiring (DMS) that August evening to my wedding on October 7, 2023, I was in The best hands Possible!!! We had a few phone calls in the weeks leading up to the wedding, and the month leading up to the wedding, myself and Carla were in contact regularly. I hired Denise in November of 2023 and barely heard from her unless she was asking for payment. She always seemed upset when I would remove something from her services as I felt like she was trying to nickel and dime me for every single item down to the use of led candles. She charged me $400 dollars for a chrome runner that came off of a roll priced at the tablecloth factory for under $70 bucks and the table that I requested for my sweetheart table apparently never came but I wasn't told until the morning of the wedding. Remember, I hired her in November and got married in June, so she had more than enough time. She provided beautiful florals that she raised the price on me two months before my wedding after I removed items in order to stay within my budget. She then told me that because of inflation, she would need to use other flowers besides the only flower that I strictly requested for my wedding on top of raising the price on them. This had nothing to do with the price she gave me upon hiring. Even after removing a bunch of items, her labor and production price never lowered. The cost of staffing and production alone was 4k yet she didn't even attempt to help break down the items that belonged to me after the wedding. The biggest regret I have is trusting her as a coordinator. She did not reach out to not one of my vendors as promised and did not coordinate nor bring anyone to coordinate as my day of coordinator. She promised me a complimentary coordinator if I spent at least 8 grand. I spent over 9 grand and did not get any type of coordination. My vendors all stated that they never heard from her once and she did not assist with any direction or anything at the wedding. She sent me a contract the day before my wedding and told me that I had to sign it, or she wouldn't be able to come out to decorate after she had already been fully paid a month prior. On top of it all, the day of my wedding, she was very rude and standoffish to my wedding party, the vendors and even my mother. I have received multiple complaints regarding how she was speaking to people. I even witnessed her worker slam a ladder down because we weren't done taking pictures in front of the florals that she wanted to move from the ceremony to the reception due to her poor planning of getting the sweetheart table that I requested. She was at my wedding sitting and making an Instagram post and I even saw her with a drink in hand. I'm glad that I took charge of the items that I did because I would feel even more cheated than I already do. I absolutely do not recommend this decorator/coordinator and if you do go with her, make sure you have a record of everything she promises you because she will change it and upcharge you and will not deliver on promises made. She's very combative as well so I'll be waiting for her snarky response full of excuses on why she did what she did. Either way, I would suggest you look elsewhere for services for your big day as she is not trustworthy whatsoever.

I just wanted our Caribbean/SoCal vibe to shine through. Rawan worked closely with us for the months leading up to the wedding with a Pinterest board, and was very responsive to all my crazy, all with a super professional and kind demeanor. We ended up working with her to decorate a wedding arch, aisle decor, bridal bouquet, flower crown, boutonniere, garland for the tables and floral arrangement for our welcome table. Everything was perfectly executed by her and her two assistants, on time with no stress. She even dropped off the florals herself at my hair salon that morning. I put so much trust in her, sight unseen, and it was absolutely beautiful and perfect. She's such a creative and fun-loving spirit. You won't make a mistake hiring her for any occasion!

That email she replied in 20min, telling me to stop "threatening" her, that I was not being patient enough, and CRITICIZING ME FOR NOT TIPPING HER. My bridal party and family picked up the florals at the end of the night, even myself (the bride). I made it very clear when the breakdown period would be to prevent the venue from charging overtime, and I was told that they would clean up. Rawan herself was not even at the wedding setting up, just two people whom she hired, and I thought they were strangers coming into the wedding until I noticed them with supplies (which I was informed later were also never collected from the venue). Another issue is that my bridal bouquet had a lot of flowers with the stamens of pollen left on, and it stained my dress before the wedding even started. In all of my photos I'm holding the bouquet away from me to prevent my bouquet from further staining my dress. I luckily was able to put my hair in front of the yellow stain for the rest of the wedding so it wouldn't be seen. I'm extremely disappointed in the service I received. The arrangements that were present came out how I wanted, but I have to warn people especially seeing that I am not the only client she owes money to. UPDATE: Refund was received 6 weeks later. If you would like any installation, use caution because it seems that so long as she pays for the materials, even if you do not receive the service, she does not feel she is obligated to refund you for the money you paid to have the installation present at your wedding (see reply below).
