We booked her a year in advance and made a few changes up until last month. Shirley was very accommodating, and during our final meeting we confirmed all the colors and counts. She was organized and offered great suggestions for the family boutonnieres. All the flowers turned out beautifully, and the team did an amazing job matching the colors we asked for. We chose silk flowers for the arch, and they looked even better than real ones. We received so many compliments--everyone was practically fighting to take the centerpieces home! XD The photobooth picture quality was also excellent. Two attendants were available throughout the reception to assist guests, and even our shy older relatives went up to take photos. Jelo Flowers and Shirley were so great to work with for our wedding! They were extremely easy to communicate with and dependable for beautiful flowers. We discussed with Shirley about colors and preferences, ordered a circular arch, centerpieces, small collection for welcome table, bouquet, and boutonniere, and let her do her thing! It always felt like Shirley was focused on getting us the best florals for our event and not trying to upgrade our package unnecessarily. All the flowers turned out beautifully, they did amazing with colors as we asked for some red/orange/yellow colors to be included, and we were especially impressed by the arch! There were no problems with setup, and they were able to disassemble, move, and reassemble the arch to behind our sweetheart table after the ceremony for a fee. The centerpieces were available to take home, and were perfect for floral preservation afterwards. They also ran a photobooth during our reception which was a huge hit! Shirley made a photobooth print design that matched our wedding invites and they had two photobooth attendants available for the entire reception. Prices were very reasonable for the package received and alongside wedding planning services booked through Genesis (Shirley Chau), we had a wonderful experience. We opted personal flowers (bride bouquet, and boutonnière for parents and groom, as well as half tall and half short enter pieces with some candle accents and an elaborate sweetheart table. We also chose to repurpose our the flower arch used in both our ceremony and reception decor. Shirley was nice enough to provide us a complimentary tossing bouquet and cake flowers which really tied everything together. Just make sure that your contract reflects carefully everything discussed and your inspiration picture are clear and confirmed with the Jelo team. I'm a meticulous planner and followed up often to make sure everything was exactly as we had discussed. It was very helpful to pull pictures from Pinterest and Jelo's IG and Website to show as reference. The vendors arrived on time to setup and stayed late to break it all down. My favorite part is the same customized look and feel on everything (my theme was blue hydrangeas/flowers of sort). There is a small customized fee for your own design on the invites/photos, but honestly it is so worth it. However due to covid, we ended up canceling our wedding and wanted to use Jelo's services for our tea ceremony on a different date. Shirley was understanding and provided us with another consultation. I had vendors ghost me and charge extra for these changes and appreciated the flexibility.
