I have used Creativa many times for all different types of events. I have used many different catering companies throughout NJ... With that being said... I'm going to make a bold statement: THE BEST CATERING COMPANY IN NJ BY FAR. Their food is some of the most creative and delicious items I have ever tasted. There is nothing that disappoints. The salmon 10/10 The sliders 10/10 The salads 10/10... Everything is really top notch and you can tell they use top notch ingredients. The service is always amazing! They literally make me feel as if I am a guest at my own party. They never want me to lift a finger, only relax and enjoy the hospitality. I'm a big believer that you get what you pay for. I don't mind paying for their food and service since I know that I will never be disappointed. I highly recommend that you use them for any catering needs. Creativa Catering is a 30 second walk from my job, so I've stopped in a few times to pick up lunch. The food is always delicious, and the owner, Anthony, is so friendly and nice. Prices are fair for the quality and generous portions of their food. The only reason I'm not giving five stars is because they have limited take out hours, but that's more of a personal gripe than anything else. Overall, you can expect great food and good service from Creativa. I would definitely recommend them, and can't wait to try more of their menu. read more

It's taken me 6 weeks to finally get to writing this review. I honestly can't say enough positive comments about Anthony, the owner of Creativa and his crew! From the moment I "popped" in to see if Creativa might be the right caterer for us for my daughters wedding, to the very last moment of the night. Anthony was nothing but amazing!! He calmed this very anxious mom, knowing I wanted everything to be perfect, to coming true to his word, and truly making everything perfect!!! Our pass around cocktail hour was simply incredible! To name a few mouth watering hors d'oeuvres, Kobe beef sliders, pulled pork popovers, crab cakes, berried Brie on Cinnamon toast, scallops, shrimp, filet on crostini and more, that left our guests quite content!! Buffet Dinner consisted of a salmon that was out of this world!!! I'm not typically a salmon eater, but OMGOODNESS this was delicious!!! For the chicken lover there was iron skillet chicken medallions soooo yummy!!! Amazing salads, butternut squash ravioli, garlic mashed potatoes, primavera pasta and so on! Anthony and his staff were professional, and on target! This mother of the bride truly didn't need to worry about a thing!!! We hired Creativa Catering for my daughter's engagement party 2 weeks ago. Anthony's suggestion of having 2 1/2 hours of passed hors d'oeuvres was genius. The food was beyond amazing, both in taste, presentation and variety. I am still craving the homemade mac and cheese in the mini crocs. The appetizer lambchops were a huge hit as well as everything Anthony brought out. Our two waitresses were amazing and did an awesome job serving and cleaning up. This type of party allowed everyone to socialize as we were meeting our future son in-laws family for the first time. Creativa made my husbands surprise 50th birthday party a huge success! They are amazing! The chef, Daniel, was a true professional and created the tastiest appetizers and buffet I have ever had. Our server, Marion was so attentive. We had some small children at the party and while we were waiting for my husband to arrive she had the chef make them sliders to keep them happy until we rolled out the food. I can't say enough about Creativa. They really made our evening so special. I will hire them again for our next event. They left my kitchen immaculate when they left for the night. Fantastic food with Creative Catering! We live in CO and just hosted a party for 45 people in NY. I called Anthony and we planned the menu in 45 minutes over the phone. His wonderful servers (Kary & Dino) brought the food and helped us to have a fantastic party. We enjoyed a buffet with salmon, chicken and pasta primavera. Appetizers included Kobe beef sliders, vegetable crudite, pulled pork popovers, cinnamon brie toast (OMG!) & filet mignon crostini... everything was wonderful and priced fairly. First off, I cannot believe this place only has one review! I came here for the first time in December with some coworkers and fell in love with it. The menu options are awesome, and everything is made super fresh! You will experience a small wait for food but it is well worth it because the food is being made fresh for your order. I always get a soup and salad or sandwich and soup lunch combo for $9 or $10. Thats not bad at all! Especially when the portions are good and the food is beyond excellent. Highly recommend this place. Cant say enough about it! This place will fool you on the outside but just walk in and your expectations will definitely be exceeded! read more

We used Creativa for my daughter's 1st birthday party and got the "Grilless BBQ" menu (sliders, salad, veggies, macncheese, etc). The food was delicious, the mac n cheese prepared on site as to not be settled. The caterer server was awesome. Everyone kept telling me afterwards how helpful she had been in managing the food set up, serving, clean up, and then even going beyond and helping with coffees and dessert. My parents who let me use their house for the party were really impressed and appreciative about how she took care of their house and was super attentive about everything. Wow! My sister and brother-in-law brought in a catered feast from Creativa this past Christmas eve. I have never experienced such a fine array of catered dishes in my life! The seafood salad was full of beautiful, fresh squid, shrimp and fish; exceptional flavor and did I say FRESH?! Eggplant parm, grilled vegetables, grilled chicken francese, mac and cheese all delicious. I highly recommend Creativa for any and all catering needs. I will certainly use them for my next party.
