I've done a good amount of pretreatment, weed barriers and flat out weed pulling myself. I contacted Emerald Lawn care from a referral because it was time for professional help. Their salesman is great in selling me their weed control services. Local, personal number, tech updates and easy payments. That's where all the good comments end. 1) They were going to do 8-10 treatments through the year, different seasons required different kinds but what ended up happening was they came 4-5 treatments. In between treatments weeds grew to astronomical levels. They came in January and then again in May. Imagine how much weeds grew during that time frame. 2) The technician MISSED ALOT of obvious weeds. I had a huge thorn thistle right on the curb. Its so obvious looking at the house. You can't miss it. But you know who did? These guys did. 3) I asked the salesman SPECIFICALLY if the weed treatments harm my asian jasmine. He said NO which was great news and ultimately the deciding factor. He made it sound like the treatments will kill the weeds in the jasmine and leave the plant itself unharmed. Come to only find that they didn't even spray the jasmine area itself and weeds grew uncontrolled. Eventually I called the sales man guy multiple times to see if when and if they will come for next treatment. I was ghosted. I called up the office and they said it was too early for treatment. I said my yard is full of weeds! They said they'll come a month from now and it wasn't time for one. They didn't care if my yards had weeds in it apparently. Just look at the pictures. This is 5 days AFTER they did treatment. Do you want your yard looking like this after using Emerald Lawns?

Once we decided to choose this company, there was a disconnect in communication between the secretary and Hector. When Hector's staff arrived to begin the project, he was confused about what exactly our vision was despite me sharing the inspiration pictures with her. Despite the setbacks, his staff did a wonderful job. They are hardworking. They removed our old patio and built a new one, replaced the sod, added rocks around the perimeter, and added pavers to form a walkway. I'd recommend Hector's Landscaping.
