Beautiful grounds, well lit and clear paths to get to the trees easily, and the trees themselves were impressively manicured. It was worth the drive from Exeter, even considering we drove by several other options to get there. We had a car full of family (8 people), including my wife's elderly parents. When we arrived, the staff was friendly and made accommodations for my in-laws so that they were involved in our experience as well. The prices were on point with other farms, but the quality of the trees was noticeably above others. When they found out that my son had just returned from a tour in the middle-east, they thanked him for his service an even gave us a discount on the tree! Can't recommend them enough! Best experience in a long time, and they made our families Christmas.

Two story, lofted indoor space with full bar, plus outdoor porches, patio, and ceremony-ready gazebo. The managers help plan events but hosts may DIY the meetinghouse decor as early as the night before! I attended a summer wedding here. Staff provided coordinating and bartenders but every other vendor was hired by the bride and groom. They gave us space to prep and store appetizers, which was clutch. Josiah's Meetinghouse is along a major route, which makes it easy to find but adds traffic sounds to ceremonies outside. Cranking the music helped our party drown it out. As long as they're not busy, they're pretty generous with time.

Second; Parking Lot Lighting. It's an obstacle course out there in the dark. Third; terrible acoustics. Fourth; Josiah's Management has made a decision that it's a good idea to shoehorn advertising into every opportunity on the Dance Floor. Neon Lights continuously flash their logo across the wedding guests. The epitome of tackiness and tastelessness. I've never seen anything like it. I'm not sure if it shows up in photos but; it sure was an eyesore in person. Overall, an enjoyable night, as Weddings usually are but; I sure wouldn't recommend Josiah's Meetinghouse. Especially for an evening affair with mixed age attendees.

It can also be rented, very affordably for weddings and parties. It's in an easy to find location right off of Exit 3 on 93 and has plenty of parking. You could fit 200 people between the two rooms quite easily, one drawback is the small kitchen and bathrooms downstairs, but you should certainly look at this awesome and historical building for your next event in the area. It will be hard to be disappointed.

While their product can be found at the NH state liquor stores, I really recommend that you plan a visit. The location is beautiful and on a nice day, you can enjoy sitting out on their patio. (note they are building a new visitor center). I recommend a tasting on the patio with some cheese/crackers for an enjoyable time. You can also do a tour of the facility as well. Check out the website and you will also find a variety of special events such as brunches, dinnners, and all paired with the wines and sprits produced on site. Give them a try!

They even asked for our music preferences and managed to select the perfect playlist that we all enjoyed.  They were super attentive to our group of 7 and the other people attending the workshop.  We all had so much fun, that we set a private workshop for next month to make more creations with them.  If you're thinking of attending a workshop here, absolutely do so. It's BYOB and you can bring in snacks as well to enjoy during your workshop.
