We went again today like normal, and everything was good until we were in the last section we wanted to look at. A worker walked over to us, I'm assuming the manager, he said " think it's time for you to leave now". We were both confused and asked him "what?". He told us that his worker said that we were rude to him and that we threatened to "walk on the tables". We were both shocked and confused because we were never rude to an employee let alone even see an employee the whole time we were there. We tried to tell him that we never did that and that we would like to hear the employees side since the manager said we were rude to the employee. The manager refused to let us talk to or even explain further with what happened with this employee. By the time we were by the door we asked again to talk to the employee who we were accused of being so rude to, and this manager said he doesn't want to argue and that he will call the cops on us if we don't leave. Don't waste your time at this store, they are rude and uncooperative when there is any kind of issue. Stay away and do not support them.

And--Don't touch things if you're going to place them back anywhere other than where they belong. This is a vintage toy store. Think of it like a museum of sorts, but one where you actually have the privilege to own the pieces. Be respectful. All of those bad reviews sound like people who don't understand that... Anyway...I ordered online so I'm reviewing the online experience--which was great. Packaging must have been good because my dad got his G.I. Joe in perfect condition. The owner, or the owner's son, emailed me personally immediately after I ordered to simply check to make sure the address was correct because my address and the shipping address were different--so they obviously genuinely care about their items and offering quality service to customers. And my dad, as a child, actually had the exact G.I. Joe I bought for him. He said when he opened the package it immediately unlocked childhood memories he'd forgotten about. He said it was the best birthday gift he'd gotten. And nothing beats getting your dad a good birthday gift. (Except maybe buying your parents a house, but, I'm not quite there yet.) You can't trust buying a G.I. Joe from just anyone/anywhere. This place has a G.I. Joe specialist who inspects the figures before they're available for sale. That means you're not getting some counterfeit replica pieces sold to you like you might elsewhere. I would absolutely order again from this place, and hope I have the opportunity to. I'll be checking back every now and then for future G.I. Joes that my dad doesn't have yet.

It's just one of those places where the nostalgia hits you like a wave. Every aisle is filled with treasures from your childhood: toys you had, toys you wanted but couldn't afford, and even some you totally forgot existed until they were right there in front of you. I told a friend recently that if I had a million dollars to spend only on toys, I'd still leave that store with a wishlist. It's that packed with incredible finds. They have toys dating all the way back to the 1920s, through the golden eras of the '50s, '60s, '70s, and into the '80s and '90s--the stuff we now lovingly call "vintage" or "retro." From Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Star Wars to Marvel Comics, classic board games, and massive collectible statues, the selection is wild. I'm doing a couple of photo dumps just to show people how deep the nostalgia runs there. It's more than a store--it's an experience. If you're within driving distance, I highly recommend making a day of it. Explore the beautiful town of Canal Fulton, grab some food, and then spend time walking through this amazing shop. You won't regret it. And if you're not local--good news--they ship nationwide (possibly even worldwide). Right now they've got a spring sale: 20% off most items, and even 10% off statues and busts. Plus, they're gearing up for a huge Free Comic Book Day event, with a block party, vendors, and performers. Definitely worth checking out. Keep an eye out for flyers about NEO Con while you're there, and block out some time--you're going to need it!

Now, to count the reasons I love this store: + Elegant bridal gifts. + Gorgeous baby gifts. The most stunning collection of stuffed animals and German teddy bears. + Fantastic small gifts for the "I don't know what to get them" person. + Classy stationary (this is HARD to find). But the most interesting thing about Daydreams & Tea is their self-proclaimed interest in "Regina"-alogy. A play on genealogy named after the owners' mother, this shop encourages both genealogical projects and storytelling. What do I mean by that? + Genealogical projects: they have gorgeous sets of family tree sets, storytelling frames, shadowboxes to frame family mementos, and specific frames for family art. + Storytelling: they collect pieces from local families, and encourage them to leave their stories behind for others to discover. For example, they currently have a fascinating antique piano (for sale). Inside, there's a handwritten note from a family in 1978 explaining the history of the piano when they acquired it, telling the story of its 1892 origins. They believe in making the world a little smaller by encouraging families to tell their stories, and I love it. Check out all the photos I added to get a glimpse of everything above!

Unfortunately, I went on Joe, the owner's off day, so I didn't get a chance to say hi to him, but his staff is always warm and friendly. I dig the amount of Star Wars memorabilia he has, along with all the other toys, collectible card games, tabletop games, and of course, the pinball machines. He also has new Comics weekly along with some back issues, stickers, supplies, and some really great statues. They run Magic the Gathering nights and other gaming functions please jump on their Facebook page to see their schedule. If you're looking for collectible card games singles, they also have probably one of the largest supplies in Northeast Ohio. Check out the 55 pictures I shot. Anytime I shoot 55 pictures tells me that there's so much goodness in there that I can't make up my mind which pictures to shoot. We appreciate the support that they've given us over years. We've loved to have folks go and say hi to them. Kidforce is easy to get to, right in downtown Berea .

Had a great time on the machines which range from $0.50 to $1 a play and even put up some initials. Definitely a fun spot to flip at and they also have video games. The owner mentioned to me that they are getting their liquor license soon so you'll be able to have a beer while you flip in the future!

Love the selection of international candies, sodas and snacks but would love more if they also had more savory items. I skip the Funko pop and cards portion of the store but I do enjoy the board game collection and the photoshoot props! This time the sale section was abundant and had savory items like instant cup noodles and chips! Between the BF and me, we cleared that section out, hahaha! We finally signed up for their rewards but because Medina is so dang far from both of us, their expiration on the points you earn is only 1.5 months or something, which is quite ridiculous! Make the points never expire and encourage people to come in every once in a while to redeem! I did hear about an Independence location opening so I'll probably check that out!

The store was clean and the few workers I saw were nice. Definitely with a visit if you are in the area.
