This woman took our photos in…read more2009 and we still only have the few clear proofs to show for the over $3000 bill we paid almost 15 years ago. We also have blurry ones and others that could have used a light filter. These were plentiful. When I reached out to Ms.Peacock she actually told me she never took our photos. I sent her a screenshot of the photo of my daughter on her business Facebook page as proof (this was quickly removed as you can imagine). I also have screenshots of the conversation between her and her assistant at the time, Michelle, commenting on the paint colors of my friend's home. Apparently these paint colors took precedent over the job they were there to do. I also have a proof of Mary herself eating at our reception as one of our proofs. It would have been nice to have gotten the photos we actually wanted like my husband putting the boutonnière on our son. Our list was pretty much ignored. The photos were supposed to be fixed but here we are in 2024 with the same disgraceful proofs. Ms.Peacock has been difficult and rude about this hoping to get more money from us (we expected to pay the cost of the album increase but she wanted more for "her time". The time she never gave us all those years ago. In fact, it has been easier for her to blame us rather than take responsibility for her many mistakes. We seeked legal counsel and he was ready to move forward but my health became more important than seeing her in court and dealing with her anymore. My husband has since fixed the photos as best as can be done with what she gave us and we have ordered our album ourselves. I could go on and on about the hell she put us through but I think I have painted the grim picture of our experience in hopes of saving another couple or family the same story. My advice is to go with your gut when choosing your photographer for a day that special. Had I done that, our story would be very different because we would have hired someone else. It was a beautiful day with beautiful memories. Mary Peacock Photography is the only negative aspect of that day. Thankfully she can't blur our memories she did our photos.
