It was one hour of supervised play (2 instructors) followed by snacks in a small party room (the host was in charge of providing the snacks). The play area was a small rectangular space. There was a rope swing, cushioned stairs and mats, a small trampoline and a cushioned swinging column that kids can swing on. My kids are 1- and 3-year-old stayed mostly in the pillow pit and bounced a bit on the trampoline. After a bit of free play, the kids were told to run through the circuit, but my kids didn't quite grasp the concept. The older kids seemed bored. I'm not sure what the optimum age is for this type of party... Maybe 5 year olds? After the circuit, the kids took turns on a harassed aerial swing. This seemed fun and the kids were pulled quite high in the air. The gym does provide tumbling and gymnastic classes. I peered into the large gym area and it looked legit (I don't know anything about gymnastic classes though). There's also parent and tot classes too. The birthday party might be fun for kids around 5-8 years old. I wouldn't host a party there myself as the play area is small and the activities were somewhat limited, but if my kids are invited to a birthday party there, we'll attend.

If we weren't so loyal to the lovely people at "our gym" I'm sure I would have put my kids here. I recall two separate gyms and a "party/eating room" and saw a bigger room where parents could sit and watch the class through a wall sized window. The room our party was in had a lot of different gymnastics equipment that a range of differently aged kids could play with. The party was well organized and they did I nice job incorporating activities that put some nice attention on the birthday kid, to help celebrate her. (I find a lot of indoor playground birthday parties to just be a space rental and that's it. Nothing wrong with that, just know from what I remember, that was a nice feature of this place.) Sorry I can't say much first hand about this place as a gymnastics school. Our friends' kids went there for years and were really happy. They only "quit" because they moved out of country. I'm new to this whole writing reviews publicly thing but the single "1 star" review for this place caught my attention and I felt compelled to add my perspective. I've only been here once, at around the same time as the other review by Jeska P. (Please also note the follow-up response from Kids SuperGym itself - it seems likely that the review was meant for another place - it's a real shame Yelp doesn't do anything about this! This place has been sitting with a single 1 star review for over 3 years??!!) And I give them 5 stars because in my opinion, for what this place is and what our experience was, they deserve this. Is it the ultimate gymnastics school in the world? I have no idea. Did they do "anything wrong" in my opinion to warrant "docking" them a star? Not at all.

The clubhouse is situated at the end of Gordon street and offers a fantastic view of lake Ontario. Amenities are much like those from a well kept small resort with the convenience facilities like the showers, a staffed bar, multiple outdoor patios and communal BBQ for the members and their guests. Since we joined towards the end of this year's boating season, we did not get to experience the regatta and other fun activities like the Octoberfest planned by the club, but we're looking forward to enjoying the full experience next year.

From intro sailing for little kids (called Mosquitos) to more advanced sailing programs (White Sail) to advanced sailing techniques and racing (Broze, Silver, Gold), the WYC is a superb place for smart, active, eager kids who love the water and want to learn many life lessons and skills they will hold onto for the rest of their lives. Our favourite instructor Ian has moved on and now Emma has taken over. My son raves about Emma and the other instructors. Both on water and classroom instruction. The little kids play games too and have fun. Sunscreen required...at least SPF 45, applied at least twice a day. At the end of the year there is a banquet and the kids get their diplomas, have a meal and awards are handed out. Trust me, this is a great summer program. Space is limited. I hope a couple of members review the club itself...seems like a great group of people.

No separate lines organized for people registering for programs, vs those who are just in for a drop in. It's normal for all staff to be occupied with mothers who are deciding on which sports programs to enrol their family in.

Cassie Campbell, or better known as the Wellness Centre's twin…read more The reason I say that is because the layout for both of them is basically identical. However, perhaps because it is newer, Cassie Campbell is a little nicer. What I like about it is the giant glass walls that allow you to see outside. It really makes the place seem bigger and non-claustorphobic. The layout of the gym consists of all the workout equipment in the centre, and a track circling around, with the corners available for stretching exercises. Basically every piece of equipment one could need is here, and then some. The membership fees are reasonable. I bought a month pass which is only $40 if you are a student, otherwise its closer to $50. For a one time pass it's $7 for a student and closer to $10 if you are not a student. There are also a lot of other activities and classes since it's a community centre; however, I can only comment on the gym part since that's all I really used. If you are looking for a place to workout, I recommend at least trying out this gym, you might end up loving it. Warning, depending on which side you come from on Chinguacousy you may have to pull a U-Turn to get inside the parking lot lol. . . but bonus though, if you buy a pass to any Brampton city gym, you gain access to all their gyms.

Enrolment is done online on their website. There is a mandatory $50 gymnastics membership fee that covers up to June. Unfortunately there is no make up class option so if you miss a class, you don't get a refund. There is no re-enrollment fee, which is good at least. I find the beginning of classes disorganized because the coaches don't call out names so you don't know where to go if it's your first class or if there's a substitute coach. My daughter's coach is usually absent so it's frustrating because she likes her usual coach. Overall, it's an okay gymnastics school from the four months we have been going there. We will probably take a break from the kindergym class and re-enroll when she's a bit older when it's less play based.

They should put the experienced kids in a different group and the new kids in a different one.
