Three weeks ago I got my daughter's double piercing done at Claire's. It by no means went smoothly. They ended up uneven as well. It really bothered her. After the good reviews for this place, I brought my daughter here to David. He is obviously a professional and knows what he is doing. He repierced both her ears and they are now perfect. I had an interesting experience at Broadway tattoos. A friend and I went to get our ears pierced. Her, her rook. Me , my daith. I went first. He was super nice and seemed like he knew what he was doing. He was a bit unprofessional by pointing out the flaws and verbally bashing another tattoo shop. He talked a big talk and sounded good to me. So while he was talking he marked my ear and cracked some jokes but didn't show me where he was gonna pierce. But I was having so much fun I didn't even notice. He was ready to pierce I was ready to pierce and he did a beautiful job. No pain. Really swift. I was so excited! But then he showed me in the mirror to my horror it was in the wrong spot. My friend went and I kept looking in a mirror and finally told him it was in the wrong spot. He said because of my ear shape it couldnt be done like I wanted. But it was in the place of a forward helix. I have one on the other side. He kept telling me no. I told him I wanted to take it out. He said give it a week and I'll love it. Two days later I hated it. Not the piercing , just the placement because it wasn't what I wanted. So I called him and he didn't really remember me (not uncommon), told I would like to come back and get it fixed or removed. I went back with my same friend(didn't know me at first, still not uncommon), he said he couldn't do anything to fix it. I do appreciate that because I don't want a butchered ear. He was talking about why I couldn't get the piercing, halfway through we realized he was talking about my rook. So I don't know if he was getting confused about what I wanted or what exactly. But he wasn't able to give my money back which is not great. I'm out of 30 plus dollars. He did say if I wanted to come back and get something else done and just pay the shop fee I could. (but since he didn't remember me after 2 days I doubt that). The piercer was a super nice guy, I wish I could he would have done my ear right. read more

TATTOO LOOKS LIKE SHIT, The 3 workers in there where all nice n funny but Me and my friend got tattoos by joe and it was just words and joe did a very bad job. I always take good care of my tattoos I have about 10 of them & there ALL good. This tattoo joe did you can't even see what it says and on my friends tattoo it looks like he went to deep. Both of our tatts suck. This is my first time making a review on anything but the way our stuff look I HAD to. Now I got a tattoo by the owner b4 & he did pretty good his name is Dom but joe & the big chubby guy kinda suck. I went in about a week later cause I realized it looked funny & they told me it's healing give it time but I have more tattoos Ik when it's done healing this one just did not look right, but I gave it more time & I went in about 2 more weeks later it got even worse looking & the manager told me I should look at people Work b4 I get a tattoo he said he fire people all the time for bad work & that I can't get a refund but I only wanted it fixed I said it look like shit and when I said that the manager got mad cussed me out & kicked me out. This is how they treat their unsatisfied customers! This shop and it's staff disgusts me! the most unprofessional and scummy tattoo business I ever walked into! I went here about three months ago to get my daith pierced...forty dollars later I thought it was great and couldn't wait for it to heal. i noticed a few days ago when i changed it that i was having a lot of pain and I could see the bar through my skin. (like there wasn't enough skin to hold the jewelry) I then find out that they didn't pierce it correctly. He pierced the skin in front of my cartilage instead of through it. I'm so upset and pissed off about this. not only am I out the money, but i trusted a professional to do something they're supposed to know how to do! and now I have to wait for this to heal and my skin is bulged out a little bit from the piercing. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone! the guy that pierced me, I don't even know his name because he never introduced himself, was short and quick to get us in and out of there it seemed like. I am a very unsatisfied customer! and yes...I will complain and continue to write bad reviews because you people shouldn't be in business! Stuff like this shouldn't happen! we pay you people to do something you're supposed to be professionals at doing! The whole thing just disgusts me! Really disappointing service. Myself and a couple of friends went in to enquire about getting matching tattoos, a really tiny design that we expected to cost maybe $50-$80 tops. As soon as we came in and asked for a rough price we were told they had to draw them up first before they could tell us - fair enough, but we only asked straight up to avoid wasting their time if it was out of our price range. When we were quoted a price of $120 each we decided not to bother as it would have been the most expensive tattoo any of us had ever had - as well as the smallest and most simple. The guy who was serving us went in a strop crumpling our forms and throwing them in the bin like a toddler before storming off as if we had wasted his full day. (We can't have been in the shop for more than 5 mins). Can't help but feel they took one look at a group of three young girls who don't look overly tattooed or pierced and assumed we were clueless and could be taken mugs of/treated like we didn't belong there. read more
