We are from out of town and used yelp to find a nail salon. The first salon we tried we walked out after not being acknowledged. Here we were quickly acknowledge and sat down for pedicures. It was my husbands first time and he was made to feel very comfortable and even given tips on what he could do for his toe nails and heels. I have been going to Creative Nails ll for years. I get the French gel manicure. It is always perfect. When I go for my appoint time I never have to wait. There are several televisions for entertainment. It is low key and very comfortable. My manicurist is never chatty. The price is fair and I will only go to this nail salon. The salon is open & clean. The people are nice but the prices are high. They actually start out fine but then they nickel & dime you on everything. For instance, a pedicure... if they scrub your heels it's extra. That is usually part of a pedicure! On nails, they charge you extra for a fill if a nail is broken.... umm your doing a fill just fix it. It's not an extra request. Obviously designs cost extra that's expected but don't dare choose a premium polish because some polishes cost extra. Then if you upgrade to gel they will add an extra cost. Most salons charge $10 extra for gel or shellac but here you don't know what you'll be charged until the end. Then your hit with a bill and thinking what did I do that cost so much? Comparing to the posted prices gets you nowhere because they post "and up" so it basically leaves you open to whatever they wish to charge you. This is my biggest complaint! People want to find a salon they enjoy and know what they are paying. Sometimes prices change but not every time you go in for the same services! That is ridiculous. Went there on a sunday 20 minutes before closing . When we walked in they did not greet us and they all had to decide who was gonna take me to get a plain full set that would of taken 15 minutes. I almost walked out and went else where but the guy finally asked me to have a seat so I did, he was nice did what I asked and I was ok with my nails, he was clean and fast. I think $25 is high for a plain full set, no gloss no polish nothing. I have my own collection of polish at home so I get a plain full set then design and paint my own. 3 stars only because you need to greet ALL your customers and don't stand there looking at each other like who's gonna take her and laugh .I can understand if it was a major request but I just wanted plain nails lol. I won't go back because $25 is too much for a plain set sorry.I know that's probably the going rate for a full set now a days but the least you can do is greet your customers however, other salons offer sales or coupons ill look for those but they are clean and fast. read more

I'm an older guy who has learned to get my pamper on when I need to, so once a month it's pedicure time. I've been to many in the Dunedin/Clearwater area and have a few favorites, but this place just hit the top of my list. It was early when I walked in and they were very accommodating. The chairs are top notch and the attention to detail was on point. I sometimes feel like I'm just being humored when I get a pedicure because I don't need the full treatment. But, that doesn't stop me from requesting all of the extras minus getting them painted. I was treated with respect and very well looked after. I hope you try this place, they are tucked away in a strip mall, next to a sports bar, but they'll take good care of you!!! read more

Very happy!!! I came in for a pedicure but ended upgrading to a deluxe pedi. I was pleased to see that they speak English here. That was an absolute plus for me because I wanted a really complicated design for St. Patrick's day and Tina did a great job! Most definitely recommend and I surely will be back! read more

I went in because my wedding was the next day and I needed a mani pedi. SO glad I did. My aunt came with me and we had a wonderful time. I got a man who has the most adorable baby girl and there's bunches of pictures at his station to look at. My nail tech was so pleasant and thorough and kind. I even realized I needed active length after he shaped my nails and he was so sweet and said he didn't mind. Wonderful experience, would recommend again. French pedicure and light pink manicure. I came in and asked for a manicure and pedicure. I waited nearly an hour to be served. I was taken to the pedicure chair first. My feet didn't have time to soak. Filed my toenails, no cutting. Then painted my toes with a color. That was it. No top coat, no warm stones, no masssge. I was swooped to a nail station. Cuticles were not pushed back, NO manicure!! He started my nails, then bent down UNDER the table and put top coat on my feet. I was in a dress and had no warning he was going under table to finish toes. He was in such a hurry he wouldn't let the gel nail UV light complete the 60 second cycles. He painted over my cuticles onto the skin. He left edges with no polish. He didn't even have me wash my hands before polishing. Absolutey the most unprofessional place I've ever gone. Not to mention doing a terrible, sloppy, mess of a job. I have no plans to return and have told others of the experience. My relative told me later, she was sorry for not warning me not to let the male owner do my nails. I tried to get my nails done. I waited an hour and a half. Five people arrived after I did and I was completely ignored. The last two women that arrived over an hour after I did were started, I got up and left. I don't think I be returning for a long time to come. They mostly do good work but I have been disappointed a couple times. Once my new acrylic nails only lasted about a week and stated to come off. Another time I paid to upgrade my pedicure for extra massage time. The young man massage the same three inches for five minutes. read more

The end result is not enough for me to return. If you like fake politeness, the silent treatment and being ignored this place is for you! You get a hello when you walk in and thanks on the way out but that's really it. The worker bees have no problem speaking to one an other in their language and counting their earnings in front of customers. I know they speak English; I've heard them speak to me when they asked what color, do you want your nails filed round... There were other oddities as I watched their interactions with other patrons. Two customers sat side by side getting pedicures and they were asking the elder bee worker questions and he was just short and did not want to be bothered getting to know his what appeared to be a new and returning customer. This place had several Yelp us signs so I'm yelping my experience. I had to ask the female bee to replace the towel as there was a piece of nail on it when she began to start my manicure. BE CAREFUL WITH YOUR CREDIT CARDS HERE!!! I used a gift card to pay $60 of my $180 bill. I then gave them $120 in cash for the remainder of the bill, and a $40 tip. When I checked the balance on my gift card I found that Creative Nails had added a $12 tip on it without my permission. When I questioned them about it, they simply offered me the $12 and said they were busy sometimes. No apology was offered and they didn't even try to find out who had done it. This place was a joke. We were from out of town having a girls weekend. Made a appointment for 4...I had to wait while my 3 friends got there nails and toes done. Then my nail tech did my French manicure in 10 mins. They nails looked great but the next my nails were clipping and peeling...the polish was old and glueing. i have never been so disrespected in my life. k first they have NOOOO color selection at all, opi (the good stuff is 3 dollars more) i said i needed a set and polished toes. they wouldn't let me sit with my friend (but whatever i ignored) then they made me sit in the awful uncomfortable position to have someone half do my toes while the other had my hands - the lady kept cutting me and wouldn't stop when i was BLEEDING - they just kept laughing and talking - they only put 1 coat of polish on my nails and didnt even let me dry, my nails are all different sizes and half way painted. and my toe nails are the same way....and then I PAID 40 DOLLARS??!?! WOW just wow. i've never paid that much for crap nails and the owner was there and could see i was VISIBLY upset and he said nothing. they dont care about you, your nails, or time. read more
