I also had my hair done by her stylist and absolutely loved both her and the final look -- such a great way to start the day feeling polished and pampered. In true real-life fashion, I accidentally brought the wrong bag of outfits... and my husband had to drive home to get the right one, which took over an hour. But honestly? It turned into a blessing in disguise. While he was gone, we did solo shots, and Aliza was amazing at calming my nerves and helping me ease into everything. I quickly felt comfortable, confident, and like the absolute sexiest version of myself. When my husband arrived, the energy completely shifted -- in the best way. The couples portion was so fun, intimate, and playful. It was such a special experience to share together, and I loved that I got the best of both worlds: a solo session and a couples session. The experience starts with the studio space, which is stunning. Danielle came down to great me and she was warm and friendly. The whole makeup and hair process was effortless. Although this was my first time being professionally photographed as well as my first time having my makeup professionally done, it was a great experience. Siobhan had my images up quickly and her work is so outstanding that the most difficult part is narrowing down the images! The album I chose was leather bound and embossed. It was packaged up with a bow, indicative of the attention to detail these ladies have. I've recommended them to all of my friends and I'm looking forward to working with them again. Questions or concerns? Advice about wardrobe? I didn't even know what garter belts and thigh highs were! LOL. Well, they respond nearly right away so just ask, they're super helpful! They expect the nerves and anxiety to be going, so first your offered a little champagne to relax, which I gladly accepted. Siobhan helps choose your outfits, gets a feel for what your looking for, super casual in her adorable studio, and then hair and makeup is done by Danielle. (Which by the way, if you've done some shopping you know their prices at doll face are the best- I mean awesome packages, tons of pictures that you have free access to, and makeup included with lashes! So worth every penny!) Anyway, you've been having girl talk for the past 2 hours, with the champagne that went down like water, and I'm so comfortable I forget what I'm about to do! Not to mention, looking in the mirror after being all done up, I WANTED to do the shoot; I felt so pretty! My makeup was mind blowing, wow! I wished I could've brought Danielle with me to Mexico for my wedding day! By this time, I'm relaxed and feel like I've known these girls, for, forever. The shoot went so smoothy and was tons of fun with lots of laughs and great music! Siobhan actually gets into the poses herself to kind of explain better what will give you the best photos- pure dedication and patience here and she has the utmost professionalism. Never once did I feel uncomfortable or "cheap" so-to-speak. As far as the ideas for the shoot go, Siobhan nailed it when I told her my hubby was into motorcycle racing and I wanted to pose with his bike helmet. These were def his favorite ones. My results were jaw dropping, I couldn't even believe it was me! She had taken so many beautiful classy shots that it was really hard to choose just 20! And wait until you see them edited! LOL. She even honored my ridiculous request to scale my bumpy nose down a bit and shade out some spider veins that were nearly invisible. My, now, husband adored his wedding gift! The album is beautiful, with nice thick pages, and you even get to help approve of the layout of the pages! I wasn't expecting too much of a reaction out of him, since he's really a man of few words and VERY hard to excite, and his reaction was worth more than anything else to me. Boudoire Photo Shoot: AMAZING!!!!!!!!…read more Ladies, if you've always wanted to do a boudoire shoot but are afraid that your body isn't quite what you'd like it to be; have no fear! It is truely amazing what a talented photographer like Tom can do with good lighting and camera angles! It won't look phony either-all his retouched shots still look completely natural. I've seen some retouched photography where you can immediately tell there was alot of photoshopping, but that is not the case with Tom's shots; they just look naturally gorgeous. I did my shoot this past Saturday and I was SOOOO nervous beforehand. I have no problem getting naked, but I'm not at a "personal 10" right now, so I was afraid that I was going to look fat and the whole thing would be really depressing. Tom put all my fears to rest right from the beginning and continually reassured me that he could fix any figure flaws in the photos. I must admit I was skeptical, but he totally delivered! My photos are AMAZING and I can't wait to give them to my boyfriend for his birthday! It was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. The front desk receptionist greated me right away and sent me up to hair and makeup. The stylist did a beautiful job and really listened and gave me the look I wanted. She had a lot of experience doing photo shoots, so she was also really helpful in giving me an idea of what to expect. The set was very nice and clean with a number of different props and scenes to use. As I said, I'm pretty comfortable naked, but if you're more shy there is a nice changing room. It's totally up to you how much you want to bare, and everything is at your comfort level. After the shoot was over, I waited about 20 minutes to review the shots on the computer with Nicki. In that short amount of time, Tom retouched two of my photos; I could not get over how good I looked!!! All my flaws were blended away, but I still looked completely natural. Nicki was really good at helping me pick out the best shots for the album I plan to give my boyfriend. It was the end of the day, but she didn't rush me at all, and I was able to take my time choosing. I am so excited to see the rest of the photos after they are retouched! The Groupon package was an awesome deal and I absolutely recommend it to anyone who want to do this but is on a budget. I wouldn't have been able to afford it at the usual rate of at least $400 (which I hear is the going rate for a boudoire shoot), so this Groupon package was perfect. You definitely get your money's worth! I cannot say enough what a wonderful experience this was, I'm so glad I did it!
