    Greedy as hell! Making up a bunch of unnecessary fees! I'm shocked they don't charge for using the mailboxes!

    Avoid: CPM will retain your security deposit after no damages were made to the property. Snow removal/general maintenance rarely performed.

I've never been treated so poorly from a rental company as I have with Dakota property management. Took over two weeks to get a hold of an actual person after calling numerous times (and leaving a message) Mike Blessum continuously ignored our pleas for help...with no call back. No one could be reached via their profile on Facebook. My basement smells of mildew, sewage, and dirt due to water damage/flooding. I'm unable to wash clothes or take a shower. This is awful. Worst experience ever. I guess being a tenant to a company doesn't mean as much as it used to. Very very displeased and disappointed in this service. Three weeks have gone by and Mike Blessum finely addressed the issue but advised us to not make a fuss about rent "think of what I am going through and the property owner is having to deal with in costs" was his reasoning. Mike Blessum doesn't care about the health and well being of his tenants nor does he obviously have any respect for them and their right to a clean and safe living space. Don't ever EVER use Dakota property managment. Mike instructed us to get our rentals insurance to set us up somewhere livable in the meantime.

We had a landlord that did not tell anybody he was leaving and when the new owners came in, they were like "what 600 dollar security deposit??" They seriously had no clue and I can't blame them for that. Long story short, there is this neighbor, we will call her "Judy"! Some of these neighbors don't pick up after their dogs and my appointment was the only one out of that whole place that provided a shovel and a 5 gallon bucket to pick up after my dog. Nearly a month ago, "Judy" has taken one of my nieces toy shovels, scooped it up into her bike stroller. My niece was just recently diagnosed with autism and that is the only bike stroller we had, they aren't cheap.. Now back to the major problem. She has been harassing us with writing letters about how each pile of dog crap is such X amount of money. First off, that's not that point of the matter, the main point is she is claiming she is Minot management, she writes that in the notes every week. I would actually LOVE to know if she really does work with y'all, if not, this is fraud, and we do not appreciate this kind of behavior from someone who also rents from these people. Do not rent from here until you absolutely talk to minot managment!

Then they don't send you whatever they left of your deposit until 30 days after you move out. They are straight up crooks that prey on military personnel. DONT RENT FROM THESE @$$holes

    This was my first time renting an appartement, and I thought everything was good with this company…read moreuntil I moved out. Make sure you are cautious about moving into their appartments! Take pictures, pictures, pictures!!! Take pictures of everything in every single room, in every corner! Make sure you check to see if the towel holders, toilet roll holders, blinds, etc have anything wrong with them and take pictures! If anything is loose or marked or indented, make sure you take note and take pictures. Do not sign the move in checklist until everything is fixed or you will be charged! Do not make my naive mistake of thinking that management is aware of the blemishes that are left behind, because you will be the one charged if anything is not working right or if anything is loose or comes apart due to repeated patches that you can see on the walls when you move in. Another thing is to make maintenance requests in their app over. Maintenance requests are very slow for repair. Make sure everything is documented. Keep everything from texts to maintenance repairs and pictures for evidence to save yourself unnecessary trouble and additional costs!!! Be cautious of this company!!!

I do have a problem with how they aren't transparent on pricing. When questioned, they honestly seem to believe that you're getting what you asked for. But even when you ask for top-of-the-line models of appliances, we end up with the bottom of the line. We've had problems from the very beginning...having repair people come before we even get to use them. It's Schultz of Clayton Home's policy to not replace or checked into anything that's not working when it arrives. Leaving us the consumer to deal with it out of our pocket with a local repairman. Their TOP of the line is what even most stores will say is the bottom of the line. Overall, this has been costing us more. and many tears. ALWAYS CHECK YOUR CONFIRMATION ORDER since pricing and refunds. If you asked for a gas stove, you may not get it. But you'll be charged for it. They will make 3 trips without fixing the problem. Even the contract base price is constantly manipulated. It's sad that this is what causes people to not trust the sales industry. Roof leaks... I could go on and on. Waiting for repairs still after months of living in the house. I hope I'm the only one.

    I am writing this on behalf of my older parents. They have been lied to multiple times by the…read moresalesman about delivery dates and setup. They have incurred multiple weeks of delay and have had to live in a bumper pull camper for additional weeks while it is getting colder due to the lies. They lied to us about the date for drilling foundations, they were a week late from delivery at the site and it has set there another week on the yard road blocking anyone driving in and out. My parents have also incurred expense to try to keep the site in a state of readiness and now have had them tell them they would set up at the site in the middle of the 6" snowstorm, after we pulled the 100x100 plastic we set up since they told us it would be delivered this morning. We are unable to cover the site again and we cannot help them and Liechty has not been truthful or helpful. I would stay away at all cost, the salesman was full of inaccurate information at the start and it has been downhill from them to the point of us questioning how they will safely set the home and keep it clean/dry with the delays that they have created. I will check back if by some miracle they redeem themselves and apologize for lying multiple times to my parents.
