She provided me a few designs / price points to choose from and I found them to be transparent with their pricing. Remodel stayed on schedule, which was huge for us. (I was 7.5-8mo pregnant at the start of the work, so I was concerned about timing) The quality of the work seems to be high, no issues so far. Their crew was pleasant to have in our home. (Respectful of napping toddler, pets, friendly, clean! etc.) Scotty, our project manager was great. Other reviews comment on them being overpriced, but unfortunately any quality home re-model will be expensive these days. RIKB handled everything from start to finish and allowed me to be as stress free as possible. Would use them again.

Our contractor went to install them, and many of them were damaged. It took almost a year to get replacement pieces in. Now 20 of the cabinet doors are splitting at the seams. It's been two weeks since I contacted Douglas Lumber to let them know, and they still haven't gotten back to me. If you are planning to do your kitchen, I suggest you stay far away from Douglas Lumber.

In addition to lumber they have a small shop with things you'd use for woodworking projects. I want to go back but their business hours are a bit limited during times I am free and my car is too small to handle most of what I would want to buy. I would highly recommend staying away from this company. We were on their schedule to move a table…read morefrom Westchester NY to the Ithaca region. They knew it was a 3-4 hour distance. 3 hours before the move they Facebook messaged saying "they weren't comfortable without a deposit." This was not discussed prior however we offered to give deposit when they got to the location of the pool table. An hour later they messaged saying their tire blew out then blocked us via Facebook. I was able to get to their website and call their number. They said they were several hours away which means they werent even planning to be there at our agreed time for the pick up. I asked to speak to the driver/boss which they declined. I also asked for photos of blown out tire and said we were willing to wait for it to be fixed. They did not provide any photo proof and said "you need to go with another company." They also admitted saying "we dropped the ball" however no apology and no resolution on trying to reschedule or to push back the moving once tire was fixed. My husband drove several hours to meet this company in the new location and the seller of the table also had to drive an hour. I am questioning if this company is even legitimate. I told them if I received proof of the blown out tire then I wouldn't post a review but they couldn't even provide this and also hung up the phone.
