I was disappointed with the workmanship on my kitchen. The electrical outlet for my splashboard was never completed properly fixed and to this day is still not done right. I paid good money to have my kitchen updated but I guess Kathleen and other members of the staff just don't care about their elderly customers. My cabinets were not hung properly. I had a GREAT experience with floors and kitchens today! We had a challenging project... backsplash, countertops and flooring on each floor of a triple decker. My mother, sister and mother-in-law were all very involved in the project, so there were a lot of personalities (conflicting ideas, etc). Vinnie was very patient and conscientious, fielding everyone's concerns and always following up. When an issue did arise, he made sure it was truly made right, even if it meant giving me a call after hours. We were all so stressed and he really took care of us! I am excited to have them come back to do more work for us in the future. Also, should note the guys actually doing the work were great too - did great work and left the space so clean! We just bought a house, you know how overwhelmed it is. And We did a carpet job and the whole bargain looked like there was no profit for them at all. When all the work got completed in the first and second floor, the carpet guy unknowingly (which he should have given to floors and kitchen for his labor)gave me a receipt that showed that he was being paid 1/4th of what I am originally paying. That was so ridiculous! Btw this work was done in 2018. read more

Buyer beware: Shame on us for not doing our homework. We should have read all the complaints on the BBB and unfortunately we suffered at the hands of incompetence. The installer who installed our hardwood floors got glue on ¼ of the floors and it wouldn't come off. He was subsequently fired and was never to be heard from again. After the owner fired the installer, the owner should have reached out to us to help remedy the situation, but he didn't. Instead I had to deal with one of his sales consultants in the store that he works from. I was promised phone calls from him but he was always "on a plane" and he never responded to an email that I sent him but I wasn't surprised because many other unsatisfied clients said the same. Then enter "The miracle guy" that they have to take care of these types of issues. He used a fine grade sandpaper to get the glue off and took the finish off on about 30 spots on the floor. Again, after the owner knew about this, he should have reached out to me but didn't. Then I was told(after almost 10 weeks of BS dealing with our duplicitous salesperson in Seekonk) that I could have another" miracle guy"come over and replace the boards but we decided that a third time wouldn't be a charm with this company. We were offered $250 on the condition that we didn't write a negative review. We obviously declined. Oh did I mention that that we ended up with 4 1/2 extra boxes of wood that of course they can't take back because it's special ordered. One or 2 boxes maybe but 4 1/2? Talk about a scam to get you to pay more for materials you don't need! Isn't that what a measuring tape does? Dealing with this company was a complete and total nightmare. We finally did hear from the owner, after we threatened to go to the attorney general, he said he would replace a few of the boards that were the most obvious, but why would we ever trust them? To do a 3rd shoddy job? He claims he takes pride in his work and his workers but yet we ended up with crap all over the floors that never should have happened in the first place. I am sure he will claim in a response to this that he tried to remedy the situation because our satisfaction is important to him but in our case it wasn't. Know what remedied it? Area rugs all over our new hardwoods to hide the spots. Thanks Floors and Kitchens today for ruining not only my floors but my summer. read more

This store has a great selection of tile. However, beware of a few things. First off, Jessica, a self-proclaimed designer, can't match tile, can't lift tile, can't tell you what needs sealing and what doesn't and can't stop talking about herself. I had a vision of a very simple subway tile in a neutral beige color with a mother-of-pearl color/style for a decorative edging for our new kitchen backsplash. We wanted the subway tile to be easy maintenance. We picked out a stone for the subway and they had a lovely decorative tile which was exactly what I wanted! Jessica assured us nothing needed sealing, it would be exactly what we wanted. Lucky for us, a more knowledgeable person was at the counter. Since she could not find what we wanted in the book, he took over and explained the stone was porous and would require sealing. After wasting 2 hours with her, she and her colleague rushed us through looking at different subway tile. They had something that was not the matte finish, but assured the matte finish would work well and coordinate with the decorative tile, which I loved. Yes, the decorative tile would need sealing, but it is only a small part of the backsplash. Great. Sold! The tile did not arrive in the promised 7 business days. I scheduled the tile guy for 14 days out, and still had to reschedule. You see, the subway tile was available for me to pickup on the day the tile guy was scheduled to come....day 14.... But the decorative tile did not make it. I got a song and dance how she ordered it correctly, but they sent the wrong color, blah, blah, blah. I rescheduled. Then they said they would have it Fedexed overnight to my home at no charge. Still too late, so I was glad I rescheduled the tile guy. Ok, so then they call and the tile will not be Fedexed but instead, Jessica will come by the house on Saturday morning herself to deliver it. Ok, thanks. Leave it on the front door steps. I'm not impressed, it is over a week late. She did deliver it. Again thanks, but keep moving, it's Saturday and I have plans. I don't want to chat, buh-bye. I open the tile when we got home, and the tiles don't match at all. It's a horrible color clash! We pack up the tiles and drive back to Seekonk....we live in Attleboro, not a traffic-friendly drive especially on a Saturday. But then we are told nothing can be returned or exchanged because it was special order. Wait for it....there is nothing in that store that you can leave with....everything on display is a sample. EVERYTHING IS SPECIAL ORDER. Ok. So we have to eat that tile. We will use the subway tile, and just get the decorative element somewhere else. It's the least cost-damaging solution simply because there was far less of the decorative tile. I can't buy from this place ever again. And I urge you to BEWARE. If you buy tile from here, know your tiles, understand the maintenance, look at colors under different lighting, and don't let them tell you it will look different with a different finish! You can NOT return anything! They don't really give a damn about what you want or how it will look. Their product is pretty pricey too, so it is clear they are interested solely in the commission. Walk away. Save your hard-earned dough. And ask Jessica where she got her degree in design, I mean bulls*it. read more

Wow is all I have to say. Purchased tile on 5/18/19 and was told by Matt Sweeney that it would take a week. Phone call after phone call to Matt .... first it was on backorder, then it would be delivered by 6/14, then he couldn't get any answer from the distributor. Well, after 6.5 WEEKS I went into the store to cancel the order. They said they would need to check with the distributor before they cancelled so I disputed the charge with Discover on 6/24. Matt called later that day to say the tile would be delivered on 7/1 and I told him I had cancelled the order. Wednesday, 6/26, they called to say the tile was at their facility! I had cancelled the order 2 days prior & I had already purchased the same tile from onlinetilestore.com on 6/25. Just received notification from Discover that they disputed the charge because it was a special order that we couldn't return! HOW CAN YOU RETURN SOMETHING THAT YOU DON'T HAVE????? This place is AWFUL with awful customer service to match. STAY AWAY! BBB has already been contacted along with Turnto10 consumer hotline. TileStoreOnline.com was wonderful and the tile that we waited for 6.5 weeks for was delivered 36 HOURS after the order! read more

Great customer service! I purchased a rug and found a better deal online afterwards. I emailed the manager and he immediately price matched for me. I had to bring my credit card to be reimbursed and had a newborn in the car so I called and asked if they could come out to get my card and they happily did, which was so helpful! The representative even gave me his cell phone number so that I could call when I got there. They also have a great selection. read more

AWFUL experience ordering kitchen cabinets here! Thought we were making a good decision ordering everything here for our home remodel.... What a mistake!!! Ordered cabinets from who we assumed was a kitchen designer. Ordered on 6/28 with the promise they would arrive in 4 weeks, turned out it was more like 6. When cabinets finally did arrive some were wrong due to inaccurate measurements and all of the upper cabinets were damaged. We also received someone else's cabinet and some upper cabinets were a completely different color than what we ordered. In the meantime we had our contractor remove all of our old cabinets so there was no going back. We gave Peter (president) and Lynn (saleswoman) a chance to rectify the mess but they still didn't seem to know what was supposed to happen in our kitchen even after many conversations. We ultimately cut our losses and had them pick up the cabinets and refund our money... Which by the way we were told was mailed to us but somehow never arrived. Finally, after about a week of waiting for our check, had to drive an hour away to Pete's house to pick it up bc he did not put it in the mail or send it to the seekonk store, as he claimed he would, for us to pick up!!! Now we have no kitchen for the next 4-6 weeks while we start over with a different COMPETENT company. We are just happy now to be done with this place and on our way to getting the kitchen we've wanted all along. WORST experience I've ever had as a consumer!!! STAY AWAY! We used Big Bobs for the first time in April 2014 when we had just purchased our house. We had them do 2 bedrooms, the stairs and the living room for a total of over 1000 Sq feet. Carpet was good quality and better prices than Home Depot or lowes. We didn't buy the top of the line carpet but It's been a year now (with pets) and it still looks great. Great service. No issues with installation. We called them back to do the basement on Sunday and it was installed today 500 Sq feet. Of note is that the installers are sub contractors not Big Bob's employees. They forgot two metal strips to tack down the edges. But I called Big Bob's and they are handling it immediately. Again not Big Bob's fault. The installers fault. But we are very pleased with this company. People are very nice. We especially liked Lincoln. Fast service. No gimmicks. read more

PLEASE BE AWARE!!! NOTHING CAN BE RETURNED!!!!! Vinny is a great "salesman", charming, overly polite, helpful.... HOWEVER... I am sitting on two full boxes of tile, never opened, never used boxes, worth well over $150.00, that cannot be returned because it is a "special order". Nothing special about this tile... any other store would take it back of course. Vinny came to my home and did the measuring for the floor tile. He obviously ordered too much because I have one full box left over. Again, never opened. So even though HE did the measuring he refuses to take back the extra box. REALLY? The other box of "special order" tile is simply grey glass subway type tile. Nothing special about it. OH and I have another box of tile that I used two sheets of, out of maybe 15. I HAD NO IDEA I HAD TO BUY AN ENTIRE BOX OF TILE JUST TO USE TWO SHEETS. AND VINNY OF COURSE NEVER MENTIONED IT. HE SHOULD HAVE, IN MY OPINION MENTIONED SOMETHING TO ME SUCH AS ...... " DO YOU REALIZE YOU NEED TO BUY AN ENTIRE BOX OF THIS TILE? PERHAPS I CAN SAVE YOU $200.00 IF YOU GO WITH THE OTHER TILE YOU ARE ALREADY USING". Maybe I would have maybe not but again he was cleverly sweet and never mentioned a word to me about that little fact. BTW, I have never ordered tile before so............... The other thing to watch out for is the invoice. NO DETAILS, JUST A BOTTOM LINE PRICE. SO even then, if the invoice was detailed I would have seen the PRICE for a full box of tile!!!!!!!! Initially first went in when it was still Bob's. Went through the process of measurements and quotes. Dealt with a woman, I think her name was Michelle. Called and emailed back to move forward with no response so I went with another flooring company out of CF that we had used before even though it was a bit more $ as they were able to do the job that same week and we knew the service would be great as we had used them in the past. Fast forward a year later, needed more flooring work done so I thought I'd go back as it was a new company, Floors and Kitchens Today. Started off okay, the guys I dealt were very nice, came out measured and followed up. However, going into the showroom was quite a different experience. Upon walking in, the blonde woman behind the desk was talking with someone, so my son and I looked around to wait for her to finish. When she finished, I gave her a few min before approaching her for help. As I was walking up from behind her towards the desk area, I could see that she was surfing the net. WTH?! Why hadn't she approached me for help? When I asked for help, she seemed annoyed. I explained what I was looking for and she was very vague about what would fit my needs. I explained that I was just curious as to my options. She ended up pulling up a quote that had been made out for me with two various mid-range flooring types. When asked if she could show me which ones they were she started towards the flooring and then answered with I don't know and you should talk with one of the guys. Full on attitude throughout this process. At one point, she started kind of walking away when another customer entered the building. So, my son and I left. He commented that she was terrible and no help. My 15 year old son said that! I think I'm done with even walking into that building for flooring anymore. Twice, I've tried to give them business and it just seems they don't want it. I gave two stars because the men I've dealt with there have always seemed helpful and nice. We went here to find wall tile for the bathroom renovation. They had a very good selection to choose from. We ended up ordering a wall tile and the bullnose to go with it and also some decorative glass tile for an accent. When the tile and the bullnose came in they didn't match very well even though the warehouse said they were from the same die lot. Neil Cicciu was helping us from the start and he took a picture of the two tiles side by side and sent it off the see if the warehouse could more closely match the wall tile so the bullnose wouldn't stand out like a soar thumb. We were told that it would take a couple of weeks and they may not be able to match the colors. We had already begun the reno and the bathroom was completely torn out so our lives just became a nightmare. Well thanks to Neil and his persistence he had someone at the warehouse physically look and match the colors the a more expectable shade that would work in the room and we were able to get it in just one week instead of the two originally stated. He called us up and said he only had so many of the bullnose and he hoped that it would work for our project. Well with a little adjustment and some strategic placement of other tiles we were able to make the room look like we had envisioned from the start. Thanks to Neil Cicciu and being mindful of what we were looking for he was able to satisfy our needs and gained repeat customers in us for any future purchases we may need. kitchen cabinets service : employees are very confused, asked if installers were licensed contractors and they said they do not need to be?

i went to this store to purchase some flooring for a small bathroom i was sold a small piece of vinyl 5'x8' for 50.00$. was told to let it rest for 48 hours before install i did so but was still not laying flat tried warming it with small heaters made it better but still lumpy, installer said it was stored improperly at store wasnt even on a roll said once glued down it would most likely flatten out.they installed it and called my attention to acouple of blims in vinyl and some glue on the edges4to5" worth and that he didn't notice before he started. this crap wouldn't stay down and kept popping up. he said this was garbage and advised me to take it up and bring it back to store. i did and manager would not give me my money and had a big laugh at my expence do not go to floors and kitchens today they rip you off and laugh in your face and so much for angies list read more
