During a recent windstorm, we had a 40+ft pine in our backyard crack at the base and fall onto our nearby locust tree (thankfully it held and only brushed the house). Unfortunately, since the locust tree also split, we had to get both removed. Mind you, this was early afternoon and we had strong winds projected the rest of the day, threatening to push them both over even further, into the house or the neighbor's yard. Within an hour of calling around to various emergency tree service companies (and being badgered by HomeAdvisor), Jay picked up the phone, confirmed he could be out immediately, and was out to survey the issue in no time. He gave a fair estimate, planned the project for the next day (due to the winds still we had to push it to the next day for safety), and had the quote in our email inbox within 2 hours. Better yet, him and his crew were in our backyard on time (7 AM the next morning) and prepared for a full day to not only take down both trees, but take them AWAY for us too.
