All the equipment is at my disposal so I don't have to wait on someone else. I used to be overwhelmed at a bigger gym because of a lot of the equipment I just wouldn't know which one to choose. But this one is just perfect for me, it's close by, has a very cool vibe, and is not overcrowded! Danielle is amazing as well! After seeing photos on IG, I decided to give it a shot yesterday instead of driving 20 minutes to the nearest Smoothie King for a $5 32oz. I dashed over on my lunch break and was pleasantly surprised of how cute it was inside! I was in a hurry so I was relieved that I was the only customer in there. The employee at the counter was very dry. Not rude, just dry. She directed me to the menu and I immediately was overwhelmed. There was A LOT to choose from. I opted for the kale smoothie, which is one of my favorites. To my dismay, it took her almost 15 minutes to make. At one point she had to call someone to locate an ingredient she couldn't find. As I sat patiently waiting she finally finished and rung me up. Pretty much the worst kale smoothie I have ever tasted. It was so thick, I had trouble sucking it up through the straw. I will however go back and try another menu item as I want to give this place another shot. My colleagues at work have had better experiences when the owner is working. I always try to support local businesses. I am hoping next time I visit, they are faster, my smoothie tastes better and the customer service is more friendly!

The workout floor seems to have more machines. I walked around to see which machines I could use. I like the free weights area. I would definitely come back for these machines. Except. I can't use the wet area. The jacuzzi didn't produce jet nor hot water. Very disappointing because the water was more clear than the 24 Hour Fitness on Richmond. I can't use the steam room either because it smelled like men's bathroom without cleaning for months. There were trash everywhere. A chubby dude sat in there. As a health professional for over 20 years and former group exercise instructor, I can see how the Instructors motivate with a specific exercise strategy . They have helped a former patient of mine to get ready for Army officer training and it has made a big difference in his fitness being able to climb up large obstacles courses with heavy packs on and crawling under barbwire at Army base. The environment is high energy, super friendly and supportive. From the moment I joined, JJ took care of me and helped guide me to the package/membership that best matched my fitness needs. The boxing classes are challenging and engaging. Even though it's a group class, Pablo pays special attention to each and every person, working with them one on one, guiding them on how to improve their technique. And don't worry, you'll get your butt kicked and handed to you with each and every class but you'll enjoy every minute of it. I have been working out here for three months now and now I am doing personal training with Jose who is just phenomenal. Jose follows a structured no BS approach which I love. I told him my goals and he takes them as seriously, if not more seriously than me. He's gone above and beyond to work with my schedule, structure brutal workouts that will help me reach my goal as fast as possible and even check on my progress regularly to assess my progression rate. I've had my fair share of disappointment with personal training, and Jose has turned that around completely. From the beginning he's been truly invested in my progress and I am truly grateful to be training with him.

Per Angel Salinas, we don't have an outstanding balance. We were guaranteed by the manager and 2 other associates when we signed up through our insurance programs that we would be Peak Results level members. After a couple months of enjoying this gym, our membership was randomly downgraded. After an unhelpful staff, I went to social media and emailing every executive I could find. Finally Angel Salinas reached out and fixed our memberships to reflect what we were told when we signed up. Well, today we were told that our membership was downgraded again (again with NO notification) and would have to pay the outstanding balance. This is getting beyond annoying.

I am back to write again about the horrible state of the women's locker room. The entire women's…read morelocker room should be condemned. Almost every single shower is lined with mold. The vents are lined with mold. Most of the lockers rarely work. The carpet may be from when they opened. It's super matted, stained and disgusting. To top it off the sign for westside is dirty. They do an amazing job taking care of all the animals. Matter a fact the animals enclosure are cleaned daily but and they even got new penguins. But they have yet to even redo the women's locker room. To add the indoor hot tub, cold plunge area was redone but is rarely cleaned. There is still grime around the poles and it's generally sopping wet in there with hairs and dirt everywhere. It's unhygienic and unsanitary. Westside please do better. The gym has everything you need. However as far as maintenance of areas and cleanliness it's a 1-Star. Who what's yoninhsle mood while showering. And the cold plunge and hot tub area/pools still reeks of mold. So they may have redone the area but whatever they did did not remove the mold smell that sticks to your body when utilizing the indoor hot tub and indoor cold plunge. Maybe it needs new piping and better extreme ventilation.

They also had monkeys, a petting zoo, flamingos, exotic birds, penguins.... I might have missed some there were just so many. The kids arcade was cool because it's essentially free play. There was also a bowling alley and it looked like a water slide but it was closed that day. Tennis courts everywhere and pickleball courts too. I didn't see the gym. The food they offered wasn't the greatest for how much they charge but I didn't pay for anything so maybe it was just the food that they provided that was mediocre. We did ask the staff to cook the pizza some more as it was kind of undercooked and doughy and the staff was extremely nice and didn't have a problem helping us out. I spoke to one of the members while I was relaxing in the patio area and he was telling me about all of the events for members that are free with the membership. Really cool place.
