We love Creative World Montessori. All three of our children have gone through the programs, including kindergarten enrichment. Our children have thrived in this environment and learned valuable skills not only academically, but even more importantly, socially and emotionally. What we appreciate most is the Montessori philosophy itself. The emphasis on independence, curiosity, responsibility, respect, and a love of learning has truly rubbed off on our children. They have developed confidence in themselves, learned to think critically, and gained a sense of ownership over their learning. I've had two children attend Creative World and have recommended it to friends and neighbors. It's a family run business which is a lovely alternative to some of the other options in the area. We've had experiences with care at other places nearby and its made me really appreciate Creative World. The classrooms are organized, calm and clean - the structure of Montessori has had a positive impact on my kids. I know when I drop them off each day that they're being well cared for. This school was a Terrible experience for my 3 kids who attended. The director is incompetent. She literally said my daughter had autism and will need a 1:1 when she gets older (she's now 3 years older and none of that is true) . It's incredibly dangerous for someone other than a doctor to suggest someone has diagnosis. Instead of trusting us as parents that she was very shy and nervous to start school for the first time, Heidi went straight to a diagnosis. She also would NOT allow her to attend kindergarten unless she was evaluated by the organization they used for the reason that my doctor wouldn't even entertain an evaluation as my daughter had zero signs, and was very capable! Unfortunately, we felt obligated to get the evaluation since that was the only way they would allow her to continue going to the school. The real issue was that my daughter was very shy as she had never been to a school before. They made it seem as though they've never experienced a shy kid before and instead of making her feel comfortable. One other family we spoke to had the same exact experience we shared. There was something very off about her perosona. She always had a plastered fake smile on her face that was completely not genuine. Don't let her "calmness" fool you. Read through her lines, and you'll see the facade. The two teachers we had would talk negatively about her to us which was an awkward position for us. Also, 3 teachers left in 1 year, and there were a lot of rumors on the teachers having drama with the director. I will say that Ms. Ambreen was very nice, but the director unfortunately ruined our experience. We took my kids out as soon as we could, and all 3 are truly thriving. My daughter comes home every day talking about all of the things she is learning - you can tell the teachers are very thorough and care about the children. Our son started at Creative World Montessori at 18 months in the Young Toddler class and we could not be happier with the experience. He absolutely loves his teachers, and it shows every day when he runs into the classroom with a smile. The teachers are warm, patient, and genuinely invested in his growth and happiness. We've seen him thrive since starting here -- not only in learning new skills, but also in his confidence and independence. It's such a relief as parents to know he's in a safe, caring, and engaging environment. My daughter attends Creative World Montessori since she turned 2. I love their toddler class, Ms. Debbie is an awesome teacher! While Katerina was in her classroom she grew so much!! She learned the sounds of letters, she even learned to writte a few of them before age 3. Ms Debbie has an amazing method of teaching little ones. She has also provided great guidance on parenting techniques that where a life saver when I was teaching my little one to use the potty and sleep on her own bed. I have nothing but great things to say about the school and their teachers. If you are considering the school I think is best you make an appointment to sit in and observe Ms. Debbie's class or Ms. Alma's classroom and you can see what I am talking about. The only problem that I have with the school is that is quite the drive as I live in the city. I wish it was closer to my house;) read more
