Then communication stopped entirely for weeks to months, despite multiple documented follow-ups via text, call, and email. When they finally responded, they said our main contact had gone on leave, but provided no apology or explanation on why there wasn't a better hand off for customer experience. After further delay, they arbitrarily doubled the proposal (excluding add-ons we agreed to), and offered no clear justification beyond a minor increase in stage size. This happened less than 50 days before our wedding, causing unnecessary stress and leaving us exposed to last-minute price gouging from other vendors. The exact opposite experience any couple preparing for their special day should have. We raised our concerns directly with Revel leadership and gave them every opportunity to explain or take responsibility instead of blaming their employees. They never responded. For a company that markets itself as premium, the lack of communication, professionalism, and accountability was appalling. It felt like a bait-and-switch targeting clients with less business acumen who would not question the changes. Go anywhere else.

The MCA recommended Revel as their preferred partner, and we're so thrilled we went with them because they pulled off the most beautiful wedding for us! We worked closely with Laurie & Megan to create a vision board and proposal. At first, my husband and I were completely lost about what we wanted (Traditional? Art Deco? No clue). Laurie & Megan spent hours of their time getting to know us and our taste, and brought their expertise to design a wedding that was beyond our imagination - contemporary, chic, and sexy, which perfectly suited our venue and black tie event. They also found creative ways to also stick to our budget, which is unheard of these days with weddings, and they delivered everything we asked for and more. Our wedding happened to fall on Lollapalooza weekend, which Revel was also working. However, Laurie & her crew personally came by my bridal suite during hair & makeup, in their Lolla gear, to deliver florals for our photoshoot. I'm masc and was really hesitant to do it because I didn't think they would portray my gender in a way I would be comfortable, and I was right, they did not. I was in the best shape of my life and wanted to see my abs and arms highlighted in the photos, and they were not. Everyone was very nice and professional, but the whole experience was very cookie cutter. I e seen other people's boudoir photos from here and it's the same makeup, sets, poses, etc. If you want the same typical soccer mom newborn/quince/wedding/ even boudoir photos everyone gets, sure, this place is great. But if you're weird and not trying to celebrate the typical things people get photos for, or you're trans or gender non-conforming, I would go somewhere else.

The woman who did my hair and makeup was incredible--she truly worked magic and made me feel beautiful before I even stepped in front of the camera. The photographer was phenomenal. I had absolutely no idea what I was doing, but she guided me through every pose with patience and expertise. Her direction and encouragement made a huge difference, and it shows in the final photos--which turned out stunningly! This was such an empowering and fun experience. I was completely blown away with the level of service and care we received. Bliss Weddings and Events went above and beyond!! Alma and her team did such an amazing job from the big to the small details. Alma met with us several times in the weeks leading up to our event to help us with things such as an overall timeline of events, organization of vendors, and set-up/take-down of the event. On the day of, Alma and her team worked extremely hard to make sure our wedding reception was seamless. We had such a wonderful time and have had so many friends/family compliment Bliss Events and Weddings too for their hard work behind the scenes. Alma is kind, professional, and really good at what she does. I could not recommend using Bliss Weddings and Events more highly.
